Excellent fish and chips , peas however tasted more like tinned peas rather than mushy peas , only negative. Good sized portions, we could have shared chips and just got an extra fish , proper chips

We have only recently visited this place for chips but tonight we decided to have fish chips and peas - wish we hadn’t. The fish was completely tasteless and the batter was soggy. The peas were also very dry and stodgy. I’m not sure if this was just a bad day but won’t be returning.

What a wonderful chippy!! We were so happy to find it open and we’re welcomed so warmly. Delicious fish and chips and huge portions. We were very pleased to get complimentary homemade tartare sauce. Support this local business it’s a true gem. We’ll be back and have already recommended to friends.

Best chippy around by miles.Decent sized potions, wide variety of choices. Fish and chips is just..the dog`s nads. Fish is very tasty and the chips a decent size...not full of scrappy bits ! .Place is also spic and spam, always clean and well kept. The owners are local so its a friendly atmos with a touch of humour .If you live within a couple of miles then this is the only place to go for yer grub !

Been here with family and the dog a few times. The staff are lovely and very accommodating,, they changed a main meal to a kiddies meal, ect no problem. The food was served pretty quick, very nice and hot. The cheese pie is amazing. Nice country pub, I have stayed in the spacey car park in camper, lots of great walks from here too.

Stopped by the Costa at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. The white hot chocolate was decent. The mozzarella and tomato panini was actually quite nice. Seating was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit. Prices were on the expensive side, but that’s expected in a hospital setting. One downside: the woman who served me wasn’t very friendly, which took away from the experience a bit.

Staying on business, 2 younger members of staff were helpful but the woman who appeared to be in charge was extremely rude and put a palm towards me while I was talking to her about what I wanted to order. Won't be back.

This Hotel was the worst I have ever been to. Mould in the bath/Shower Poor Wi-Fi Blood on the carpet Noisy guests on either side No staff on site at night or weekends
