Costa Coffee in Blackburn with Darwen

Stopped by the Costa at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. The white hot chocolate was decent. The mozzarella and tomato panini was actually quite nice. Seating was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit. Prices were on the expensive side, but that’s expected in a hospital setting. One downside: the woman who served me wasn’t very friendly, which took away from the experience a bit.

The first & last time I would buy a coffee from here. I looked on their website and decided to order a gingerbread latte, which showed whipped cream topping with a small gingerbread man biscuit place in the cream topping. When I received my drink it was nothing like the menu picture. There was no cream, the contents looked like bile & the gingerbread biscuit was placed on top of the plastic lid. The whole contents went in the bin, wouldn’t recommend in the slightest….

Dirty disgustion only offer plastic cups because they can't be bothered to wash up and it's only 320 Sunday 6th October

Lovely staff but poor management: needs a deep clean. For an extremely busy cafe, it's filthy; furniture needs replacing or cleaning.

It's just another place that sells overpriced coffee.

Very good service excellent drinks. Cakes were a little over priced but we enjoyed

Haven't had the food there th. Coffee/ hot chocolate that I had was as ever lovey, the staff were very kind and understanding as I was on crutches and couldn't carry my drink to a seat they were kind a carried it for me. Thank to you all.

Due to an injury to my leg (achilles) wearing a large silver boot and needing a walking stick therefore mobility is limited. Asked for toast to be brought over where she just plonked 2 bags down on the table! I wasn't aware there was a knife in the bag so l asked at the desk for one, assisant abruptly said l am serving someone so l sat down. A customer came over and told me there was a knife in the bag. Why wasn't l told this when the girl plonked down my toast? Other than that restaurant was clean.

Female staff not welcoming and on the point of being rude the two male staff where good bread for toast was not fresh

Costa at Blackburn hospital. Pleasant staff. Good variety of sandwiches etc. Seating area available.

Great service but as it was in a hospital foyer you had to queue a while but once you got to the front it was service with a smile

Good meeting place good variety of coffee And tea's can be a bit pricey.

Gent called Aaron in Blackburn Hospital Costa should be appreciated as a staff member twice I was in he was doing multiple jobs without complaint and fast at that sadly not noticed by other staff and should be Well done mate your a hard grafter and high standards in customer service hope it's appreciated ...

Today we tried the Terry's chocolate orange chocolate drink, think it's an 8 out of 10 for that one. It was nice tasting but could have done to have a more orange taste to it, we didn't have the cream on top as it would have made this drink too sweet.

Great coffee, fast friendly service, clean and tidy

It's very busy, and it's very crowded, but the service is up to scratch, and the food is as good as any other Costa. But it's not a place of joy and laughter. It's in a hospital.

To expensive. Coffee way to strong ..not for me
