The best restaurants serving Seafood food in London

Visited from Wales. Very friendly and welcoming with excellent food and service. Went twice and would definitely recommend a visit.

We have been using this restaurant for years and have always found the food - both take-away and eat-in - and the staff top notch. This is a meat-free chippie, so no pies or saveloys, just freshly cooked fish. And the chips are fried in high-quality groundnut oil, which gives them a better taste. Consequently, not cheap as chips, but you only get this sort of quality when you pay for it.

El bar de pescado Moxies está a la vuelta de la esquina de la pescadería de Moxon y supongo que son la misma compañía. Hace años que no tomo tan buen bacalao en una barra de pescado. Está recién cocinado y se puede comer en un par de pequeñas encimeras o para llevar. Era un trozo de pescado de buen tamaño hermoso cocido, cortando a través de la masa dorada clara reveló frío blanco brillante que se rompió en grandes copos. Sabía increíble. Las fichas eran medias, diría yo, nada malo con ellas, pero he tenido mejores. Pero ven aquí por el pescado, no te decepcionará y no sobreprecio a 13 . 90 por una buena porción de pescado con papas fritas.

Fabulous cocktails and great service from Aiden. Even though he was suffering from a Thai boxing injury, Aiden looked after us so well and kept us entertained while we enjoyed amazing cocktails and a fabulous view. Thank you.

My favourite Fish & Chips delivered. Gluten Free Tuesday/Wednesday is the one for me! I think it’s great you have this Gluten Free option. The Fish & Chips are always 10/10 delicious and arrive hot and fresh every time. I highly recommend Belmont Bay, especially if you’re looking for great tasting Gluten Free Fish & Chips. Excellent service very friendly staf. Give me the advice on the best option that was value for money for my 2 kids they child friendly. Big portion katchap test different very nice. If I could I would rate it 5 billion out of five hash browns are very nice extra bonus its all halal I am planning to return with my friends

A veces encantador, a veces rancio. Algunas de las mejores fichas que he tenido y algunas de las peores. Tan inconsistentes, los pasteles están bien, sin embargo, cuando no están aplastados, es decir, y no son los pasteles típicos que venden todos. Now let me start by saying I’ve eaten at many Fish & Chips establishments in London and around the U.K, from the streets of Bristol, to the beaches of Kent, this spot certainly comes close to topping the lot. The service is 2nd to none, I don’t know what the servers name is, but he could see what I wanted and needed even before I’d arrived at the door. A cod and chips for £5.00 a pop, if that’s not a bargain I don’t know what is. I always thought a decent Fish & Chips would be £8+ in London, but these guys know how to tempt in a bargain hunter like myself. The fish was fried to perfection, with crispy batter and a fresh fleshy cod fillet which was delicious. The chips were also a real treat, with it coming in at a 9/10, which is truly a marvel I can assure you, not many chippys have achieved that rating. All in all, I would highly recommend Brixton Cod, cracking service, for a good price and unbelievable fried heaven - I’ll be back, I promise you that.

First of all a nice warm welcome whe. I walked through the door. The lady at the front knew everyone’s it was like a local hub. Ordered plenty of food £50 worth, very happy, the quality of food was great and it tasted fresh and tasty. I’m just about to order another Chinese takeaway as it’s my once a month treat. Tomas

Never enough food, small portions, not pleasant the next day. I’ve been here twice hoping for some decent food. Ok, I had a few pints beforehand but i was disappointed with the selection each time. The portions for the price wasn’t really that good and whatever they cook with should be illegal. Never have I had the splatters so badly the following day. Avoid

I'd passed this place on numerous occasions, as it's not that far from where I live and I sometimes have reason to visit Wood Street, so I thought I'd give it a try one time when I fancied a bag of chips. Let's just say that the chips were of fairly average quality, and the portion was pretty stingy for the price! I had a quick look at the pre-cooked fish, and they also looked to be on the small side. I knew there was a good reason that we get our fish and chips delivered from Highland Fish Bar instead...

I was on my own on Oxford Street and found this place for lunch. I didn’t have a reservation but was quickly seated at a table, despite being on my own (to eat at bar was also an option). Menu is really interesting. I had gorgeous clam chowder and then anchovy toast. Lots of nice cocktails and wine by the glass. Staff were superb and it was a great experience. Plus they sell lots of beautiful canned fish to take home! What’s not to love?!

Just tried the fried shrimps, they were lovely! Would like to try some of the other menu items next time we are at Spitalfields. They came with a dip and some really tasty samphire. Would defo recommend!
