Shrimpy Markets in Camden

Just tried the fried shrimps, they were lovely! Would like to try some of the other menu items next time we are at Spitalfields. They came with a dip and some really tasty samphire. Would defo recommend!

Shrimpy is everywhere now. I first discovered them at spitalfields and have been meaning to try them. They were participating in the munch club at Camden so I decided to check them out. It was really hard choosing which one to dine as there were so many options but Shrimpy was on the list. Tried two burgers, one with fried shrimps and the other grilled. The fried one was stunning, big pieces of shrimps but then the coating was quite thick so you get that lovely crunch. The grilled one was not so good, the prawns were overdone, dehydrated, black, chewy and bitter. The buns were a bit too burnt for my liking. What makes these buns and Shrimpy unique is that they use Samphire and the salad in the bun was refreshing with thin slices of cucumber and fennel. Overall, it was good apart from the grilled shrimps so I would advise getting the fried shrimps.

We came to the Southbank food market and despite a lot of choice I was drawn to here and their shrimp box. Five minutes after ordering it was piping hot and ready to be eaten and looked great. Fortunately it tasted just as good and for around £8 is well priced for London. I definitely recommend it if in the area

Bang average, just fried or grilled prawns with chips. Taste-wise okay, price-wise very expensive (much like most of the stalls in Spitafields). Food stalls need to think of something better than filling up a meal with cheap ass potato chips. We don't pay >£8 for something we can make for a quid...

Got a Shrimp box from their newly opened spitalfields market. The fries and shrimp were just drenched in oil. Shrimp didn't even look well cooked...the batter was not golden brown but just pale. No seasoning just soggy fries. I was famished and was looking forward to eating this but thoroughly disappointed. I dont recommend the shrimp box at this place.

Honestly it’s so delicious. Perfectly grilled giant shrimp perfectly offset with samphire, a spicy sauce and avocado. I was in heaven

Amazing food, amazing staff. Will definitely go there again soon. The burger was really tasty and the chips were delicious.

Got battered shrimps from here on Southbank and to be honest they wasn’t the best tasting. I mean they were okay but not something I’d get again really

£5 for 5 shrimp bites & some sauce and to be honest wasn’t the best but the burger did look nice which I regret not getting. However the service was fine & very quick.

I’m veggie so pretty much the only thing I can eat from here but best chip butty ever! Perfect crispy chips, garlic mayo, onions, great bun, heaven.

Shrimps were fantastic. First time having samphire and it was delicious with the shrimp. I'm going out yo buy Samphire. Thanks 😁

I had the fried shrimp box which came with samphire and fries. Delicious shrimp, actually the best I ever had anywhere (and I've eaten a lot in the past!) The fries were well cooked, and the samphire complimented the dish well. I ate this sitting on the Southbank on a freezing cold November day which just seemed to add to the experience. Will definitely be back for more shrimp in future. YUM!

I ordered the Shrimptastic box. It has small fries, breaded shrimp, seaweed, ketchup and mayonnaise. It was very greasy and not very tasty, the seaweed was nice but there wasn't much of it. Very pricey at £8 considering that when you actually eat the meal you will not be full (it looks like a decent size meal but it's not).

What can i say!! Amazing place to hang out. Everytime i go there i feel good. Prices are bit high condidering the portions.

Nos metimos en Camden Lock hoy para comer algo. round preguntábamos todos los puestos, tenía algunos mulled wine, dando vueltas todo el año nuevo esperando poder tomar una decisión. Nos decidimos por una hamburguesa de Shrimpster y no me decepcionó. Fui para la opción a la parrilla y mi brioche tostado estaba cubierto con pepino pesar, samphire (que nunca había probado antes) lechuga, cebolla y salsa de Shrimpster luego mis 6 deliciosos langostinos de ajo. ñam ñam! Las patatas fritas también eran deliciosos. Volví a la zona de asientos y mi otra mitad extraviada para recoger su comida de elección. Para mi sorpresa, el restaurante Carnivore eterna sorteado totalmente todo el cerdo tirada, pollo y carne bourguignon Jerk puestos y volvimos con un Shrimpster propia. Él era tan celosos de la mía no podía resistir! ¡Muy recomendable! ñam ñam ñam ñam.

Al Camdem market bisogna assaggiare un poco di tutto perchè ogni bancherella offre cibi speciali e mai provati. Questo punto vendita è all'interno della piazzetta del camdem Lock insieme a tante altre, ma si nota subito perchè i panini che fanno sono più alti di 10 centimetri e il pesce (fritto o ai ferri) condito con insalata trabocca da tutte le parti. Il pane sembra una focaccia ed è mobidissimo .

Por lo tanto, nos llevó 10 minutos (bueno, había otros dos clientes), y trataron de palmeras de las patatas fritas rechazada por el cliente anterior, y luego me sirvió el sandwich equivocado. Pero no me ofrecen un descuento £1. Pedí mi £8 (no es barato) y les dije que era. Bien, para ser honesto, fue siempre está mal tener camarón frito y patatas fritas.

If you love seafood this is the place to be, a wide varity of items on the menu. I wish there was one near where I live

The 'Trout Pout', 'Suns Out, Guns Out'....and my favourite...'The Shrimpster!'...each name suitably fitting each of the options of fresh seafood Shrimpy Markets (@shrimpymarket) have on offer....trout, mussels (guns haha), and SHRIMP! I always opt for The Shrimpster. A cool shrimp butty! Shrimp is grilled or deepfried (in the crispiest batter ever) served in a lightly toasted brioche bun with the zingy-est sweet cucumber and lemon salad, Samphire... AND a side of Twice cooked, potato Chips!!! Simple and satisfying to say the least! All 'butty's are available 'naked'...as a salad without the brioche bun, for those with a more healthy conscience. And knowing its cooked fresh in front of you is fantastic! I can honestly say i've always walked away from Shrimpy a happy customer. If you love your shrimp.....Be Cool...BECOME A SHRIMPSTER!
