As a Korean, you can feel this place has a lot of ‘jeong’, with friendly staff and excellent food. Always recommend asking for some extra tartar sauce !

A great steamed Korean chicken restaurant I found in the UK.. The staff was so friendly and even though I came at closing time, they didn't even notice, but made it easier for me to eat more comfortably. I think I'll be coming here a few more times in the future! Super chilly chilly recommended!

I visited the restaurant specifically for the fish and chips, but the experience was underwhelming. The service was just average, the fish was overcooked, and to top it off, the dish didn’t come with chips, which were an extra charge.

I went after receiving a recommendation from Yeongalnam. Cod medium, single chicken boneless, coleslaw, cola, iced tea came out to 41.2 pounds. It is much less greasy and has a better texture than fish and chips from other restaurants. I would say other restaurants are a bit mushy with no texture... I think it would be better to only sell this place since I'm going to eat here and there. It was so delicious. Chicken is just average. It wasn't particularly delicious or anything like that. It's close to the Natural History Museum, so it's perfect for a meal after visiting.

Excellent service but terrible food, without good taste, not recommended

The menu of this establishment includes fish&chips and various variations of Chinese-style chicken (soy/sweet and sour sauce, etc.) The quality of fish in fish&chips is not bad, everything else is bad: potatoes are not tasty, cheap ketchup, tartar is small and tasteless , serve it in a plastic disposable bowl. The place left the feeling of a cheap eatery. I still don’t understand why this place has such a high rating.

KOREA Chicken is good but the fish & Chips is not local taste.

Every time I'm in London I pay a visit to the Fish Plaice, I usually get a take out and eat back at the hotel but today i felt a bit saucy and dined in, this place has never ever been anything other than outstanding for Fish and Chips, j always go for Haddock and it was (as always) cooked to perfection!!!!! As a special treat for us Northeners, they also do mushy peas and gravy, cannot recommend this place highly enough, even tried a Korean beer (cass) and it was decent, very decent in fact, so decent I had 3.

It was a pleasant first meal in London! It was thick and crispy fish and chips!

I took some visitors to this fish and chip restaurant as they wanted to try traditional English fish and chips before heading to the British Museum nearby. Some of my colleagues had tried the food at this particular establishment and recommended the place to me. Having read the reviews and seen online photos of the food, I decided to try this place. The staff were very accommodating given the size of the party (25 people). We agreed on a budget on what food we could order ahead of time. This was particularly helpful as I’m aware that the location of this restaurant would make it very busy and more popular dishes would likely have sold out. When we arrived, staff were very helpful without being overbearing. We were seated immediately and tended to without fuss, which I appreciated. Food and drink was delivered promptly and everyone was happy. The food here is delicious and the portions are generous. I would very much recommend this establishment and would like to extend my thanks to the staff for their service during what I can only imagine was a busy summer, full of tourists. I will definitely suggest this place to my colleagues and look forward to visiting the restaurant again in the future when more of my associates visit London.

Not a huge restaurant and you are crammed in a bit but it was clean and the staff were attentive. I ordered cod and chips which came with a slice of lemon and tartar sauce for £14.95 (plus a 10% surcharge on top). The chips were ok, I've had a lot better. The cod, in my opinion, was tasteless. There are much better fish and chip shops around.

I stopped by by chance to visit the British Museum~ The well-fried fish and chips were also delicious. It was a better place because it had Korean-style chicken (whole chicken) menu. You can eat it with dip or stir-fry!! The fried calamari was also delicious!!!

We came for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the food delicious and fresh. There's also Korean chicken, and all the fried food on the menu is incredible. I would recommend it 100%! 감사합니다 !

main reason we came here is because of the great ratings we’ve seen so far but we were severely disappointed. it was by far the worst fish & chips we had in the UK - the fish batter & the chips were weird & inauthentic. the korean fried chicken was nothing special & everything was so overpriced!

I discovered this place last year since I was very pleased, I bring my family this year. Since I spoke korean to them They prepared a very nice calamari as a gift. I am glad that I learnt korean and met wonderful people. I will choose this place every time I come to London bcs the food is delicious and the staff is amazing. 진신으로 감사합니다.

Waited a while to be seated but the wonderful staff made up for it by offering us a few dishes. The fish & chips (cod, haddock, plaice) were all delicious!

The korean fried chicken was amazing!!!!

OMG!!! What a great little place. This was the best Fish and Chips I've ever had in my life! The chips were hot (I burnt my mouth on the first one), super crispy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside!!! and the fish was super crunchy and never once was greasy!!! And the tartar sauce (I use it on the chips) was super excellent and they even gave us extra! If you are at the British Museum, make sure you stop here after!!!

They are very kind and helpful. The fish & chips were great. We also asked for pea puree, we were not disappointed.

My favorite spot for fish and chips! The cod is always fresh and crispy, and the scampi is a hit too. Even my son, who’s not usually a fan of fish, loves their fried chicken with chili sauce. A great place for everyone!

Average food but good portion. A classic fish and chips but a little expensive and they charge you a mysterious "table service" without warning. It's close to the British Museum and the staff were quite nice.

I really wanted to like this place as everyone was super friendly but for a chip shop, I was not expecting to be served soggy semi warm chips. The fish was crisp and freshly fried but is not good value as it was razor thin and had more batter than fish. However, it was clean and service was quick.

Felt like fish and chips in the general Southhampton Row area prior to visiting the British Museum and found the reviews of this place quite appealing. I sat down and looked and the menu and was going to get fish and chips regardless, however what I didn't realise and made sense after seeing the waitstaff and hearing them, is that these guys are korean! So ineveitably, I also ordered as side of fried dumplings and both dishes were very good! However, the best aspect of this restaurant is the korean kindness and hospitality of all the employees and staff! For those who are lucky enough to have visited Korea, it's like home!

As a local for 30 years I used to say without a doubt this was the best fish and chips in london. Now it is just average, you can find the same elsewhere very easily. By all accounts the korean fried chicken is very good. :(

Typical fish and chip restaurant next to the British Museum. Reasonable prices although keep in mind that they charge £5.99 for table service. It is better to order water from a piper than they charge 4.5 pounds for the bottle.

The staff were very quick and helpful! Good fish and chips served on a newspaper, but not as much sauce as you could wish. A bit loud, but otherwise nice. But it's well worth a visit if you're nearby.

Advice from an actual Londoner: The food here while edible left us very underwhelmed. Was very plain and tasteless. The fish was tiny, portion of chips is tiny and the Korean style chicken was so dry. If you're looking for authentic fish and chips get away from the touristy areas, if you're looking for Korean food go to Korea Town. This restaurant wasn't very good at either of these styles of food, mediocre food purely catering to tourists who don't really know any different (which explains all the fantastic reviews)

Location: Conveniently accessible from British museum Price: At the pricier end for F&C probably due to its location Service: Bad as they basically rush you out even the place is not fully packed Note: Go for Golden Plaice at Borehamwood, a Michelin starred eatery that serves authentic London F&C at a reasonable price (Cod is around £12)

I ordered seasoned chicken, fried chicken, and fish and chips. The taste of all the food was fantastic! Especially, the chicken tasted exactly like the traditional Korean chicken I used to eat in Korea! The owner and staff were very friendly. I will definitely visit again next time I come to London.

Even if you visit alone, the owner will welcome you warmly. I ordered COD large size and it was very large. Frying is a work of art. It's really superficial. The fried squid was also very soft and delicious.

Busy place, but friendly and accommodating.

Don’t come if you are not a Korean, they only give privilege for their own community- Korean. First, We asked for a table for two, but mentioned that it would be better if we can have a table with one more seat since we have a big backpack with us. The staff told us that we can only use the single table with only two seats, since we have only two people, which sounds super reasonable and we were okay for that. But then, within 5 minutes, the staff allowed another Korean couple, with only 2 of them, to sit on the table that we asked about, even though there are still 5 single table for two is completely available. After that, there are a big group of Korean customers (around 8) came and ordered later than us, but they can actually did get their food way ahead us. It’s just fish and chips and I believe there won’t be much time difference on making the dishes. Don’t understand why they treated customers so differently except for one reason - we are not Korean. Food didn’t worth the money and time as well, super dry and bland. Just dine somewhere else.

We promised our son fish and chips while in London and found this place near the British Museum. It’s got a Korean flare which we personally enjoy. The service was prompt and enjoyable and the price was reasonable. But mostly the food was excellent. I got the wings and they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the fish and chips were excellent. If we are in London again we would definitely come back!

Located opposite the British Museum we find this place that serves the famous "fish and chips". The prices were not very high despite where it was located. The correct food highlights above all the friendliness of the staff and the speed of the service. In short... It is not an essential site. I recommend??? Yes, if you are in the area and are looking for something quick and with acceptable prices.

It's right in front of the British Museum, so it's great for a morning British Museum tour -> lunch. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Meeting a Korean person in London made me feel happy for some reason haha. A London beer bottle with a Cass cup!!! Haha. It was a fun experience. In the UK, fish and chips are the rule, so I ordered calamari with that, and the calamari squid melted gently..ㅠㅠ My mom and I ate together, and she also enjoyed the meal comfortably. Is it because we ate well?! I was even more grateful for providing even a small service. I think I will come again next time I travel to London!

The Korean fried chicken is amazing quality it is very authentic (i.e. if this shop was in Korea, people would still queue to eat there!). The sauces, for Korean fried chicken are top quality, as is the tartare sauce for fish and chips! Likely the best staff in London. Arrive around an hour before closing time to catch the best Korean fried chicken.

The owner was so friendly and it was delicious! It's right in front of the British Museum, so it's great to eat after visiting the museum. Try the squid rings too.

Food doesn't taste as good as expected... Price not so cheap...

The weather was really hot, but as soon as I came inside, it felt cool and I felt like living there. It's a really good cod meat and seasoned chicken restaurant.

I heard a lot of people saying that the fish and chips were not that good, so I went to a place that said it was delicious. It was well fried and had the right fried taste. Sure enough, the owner is Korean~ Eat when you go to the museum.

Reasonable prices, generous portions, crispy chips and fish. The service was fast and courteous, and the place felt rather homey. I tried a few chippy places around St Pancras and this was the best of the lot.

As soon as you walk in, the friendly owner greets you with a “Welcome” and the smell of seasoned chicken that you can smell at any Korean chicken restaurant takes your mind away =) The fish and chips are also really good. There are a lot of local people, but they unusually order a lot of fried dumplings. There is more space inside than it looks from the entrance. Be sure to stop by and recharge yourself after or before visiting the British Museum!! Highly recommended!

I went to this place because it was rumored to be delicious. The friendly owner and delicious fried chicken whetted my appetite tired from the trip. . Fish&Chips are crispy and tasty, so the story that British food is bad is not true.

I went here after reading the reviews on Google. I had never had fish and chips before, so I can't compare the food to anyplace else. My benchmark was Indian food which I'm used to. I tried the Haddock fish and chips, with pickled onions on the side and a pint of Korean beer. The fish and chips are bland (sorry, but I'm comparing it to a fish fry from Kerala). The pickled onions were decent, but I'd try a different side next. The Korean beer was surprisingly refreshing. Blame me for day-drinking but the chilled beer was the only thing that soothed me on a sunny London morning. The staff was very friendly. The prices are reasonable. There is a toilet downstairs which I am thankful for. P.S. I may come back to change my rating after I've tried fish and chips from a few more places.

This is the store I stopped by on my way to the British Museum 🇬🇧 I didn't know at first, but it turned out that Korean people It was the place you used to run! For being kind to me thank you !! The fish and chips were also delicious and the best 👍🏻👍🏻 I'm telling you because I happen to have a small size. I received it, but it was the original size. There is more than that. It is plentiful and tastes great!! I definitely want to go back next time I'm in the UK!

One of the best fish and chips we've tasted in the UK. The service was wonderful. We ordered calamari and cod fish and chips, both were good. They add the service charge and so, you do not have to worry about tips. Service is good, and polite.

A great place for both fish and fried chicken. The service was super nice, the place was clean and free from the smell of frying. Very tasty fish, served quickly. We asked for the chicken without sauce, but it was still very tasty, consisting of both breast and thigh meat. Just like the accessories, everything on point. I recommend it to those in the area.

Everything was absolutely delicious and well executed! We ordered 4 dishes (and 2 soft drinks) chicken dumplings, calamari, cod and haddock fish & chips. Their type of batter is very light and smooth, with a great quality and good served portions. We adored the place! It is very clean, providing excellent service compared to the price we paid for two persons, it definitely worths to have a comfort lunch/ dinner in there. Congratulations from Mexico! 🇲🇽❤️

I was visiting London, from USA, and thought trying the fish and chips is a must. I ordered the large cod and chips. The fish had absolutely no taste. I guess no taste is better than a bad taste. That's the most positive thing I can say. Fresh cod from the Florida coast rocks compared. If you have no taste buds this place could work out.
