Hooked Fish Bar in Hammersmith and Fulham

A veces encantador, a veces rancio. Algunas de las mejores fichas que he tenido y algunas de las peores. Tan inconsistentes, los pasteles están bien, sin embargo, cuando no están aplastados, es decir, y no son los pasteles típicos que venden todos. It was a good sign when we saw sacks of potatoes waiting to be made into chips. Friendly service. Great chips and proper fish. Well worth going here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I’m never able to have fish & chips, but Hooked had gluten free batter and separate fryer. 😄 Tasty food and friendly helpful staff. Looking forward to revisiting next time I’m in Hammersmith!

Ayer mi amigo y yo estábamos buscando un lugar para almorzar en Hammersmith. Habíamos visto un pub que parecía atractivo, pero en una inspección más cercana no le gustó nada en el menú. El siguiente lugar fue comida tailandesa. El siguiente menú que pensamos que parecía posible fue en Hooked Fish. Verificamos que había mesas en la parte trasera de la cafetería y quedamos muy gratamente sorprendidos por la sala de estar luminosa. El personal fue muy amable e informativo. Se recomendó la solla, pero llevé mirando el menú y vi Moussaka Vegetariana. No revisé ajo y me dijeron que estaba bien y que también estaba libre de gluten, ¿esperaba que eso fuera libre de calorías? ? ? Obviamente hubo una corta espera mientras se cocinaba la comida. Nuestras teteras eran muy buenas. Mi moussaka vino con una ensalada que era muy sabrosa, y la moussaka también estaba deliciosa. La solla que sirvieron fue la porción más grande que he visto y me dijeron que era realmente deliciosa y muy fresca. Eso vino con una pequeña porción de ensalada y una guarnición de papas fritas. Estos no eran congelados, sino encantadores, sabrosos y frescos. Me complace ver que la porción era muy grande y tuve que ayudar a mi amigo. No sé sobre sus comidas para llevar, pero para las porciones que nos sirvieron en la cafetería eran excelentes, sabrosas y muy frescas. Los precios de un lugar en Londres eran mucho mejores que algunos de los cercanos. Estoy de acuerdo en que el baño era básico, pero estaba muy limpio. Si volviera a esa zona de Londres, volvería a este restaurante.

Food was really, really good. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Toilet facilities a bit basic, the floor was wet and not particularly clean, but I would go again for the food and the welcome.

I was served by a nice woman, the meal came promptly and it was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

very good and friendly service as well as tasty food, we all enjoyed our dishes as a family, especially chicken doner and lamb doner, portions are more than enough :-) all the best to this local shop in Hammersmith

Went in and had a kebab meat and chips The people have become friends. Anna who is bright carming young lady who can't do enough for you when come in. The kebab meat the best I ever had. And the gentleman who makes it is very welcoming. And he gives you a good portion of kebab meat and unlike other place I have visited the meat is never greasy I can never say how good they are in the shop. They only too happy to give you they food as you want it. Fantastic place to eat and also fantastic people who work there.

Nous sommes entrés par hasard dans ce fish and chips bar car devanture pas typique pour ce type de restauration et là c est simplement UN BONHEUR : Cadre du fond soigné, service : sourire et prévenant et surtout un vrai Fish ( plusieurs choix de poissons) du Chips à tomber ( prenez leur patate douce : digne d un grand Chef croustillant ...) et même leur viande au Charcoal et leur sauce maison : TOUT est BON et IMBATTABLE côté Prix ! A deux minutes du métro ... Londres sans passer par Hooked ( open jusqu à 4:00 du Matin !) serait vraiment dommage dorénavant pour nous .... Hooked est un Must à faire pour qui aime de la vraie qualité à prix honnête.

We popped in on the way to Hammersmith Apollo and were lucky to get a pair of sea bass dishes that really hit the spot! Only pity was the obnoxious Deliveroo cyclist waiting for a pick up in there. Otherwise highly recommended if you're in the area!

Was in on a Saturday while my daughter had an appointment nearby, . I had the Cheeseburger and the daughter hand fish fingers, the food was OK but not worth the price. I agree with others the chips were really poor and left most of them.. There were three people in the restaurant and it appeared that nobody wanted to serve us,although we were the only people in. Don't mind waiting for good food, but this was 20 min for a burger...but worse, it then took a good 10 mins to pay for it! Seems nobody knew how to open the till , almost made my daughter late for the appointment that we had driven 150 miles for!

I consider myself to be a major fish and chips connoisseur considering I am from the States and whenever I am in the UK I make extra effort to try different places since I can't get good fish and chips in NYC so my senses are heightened when eating it. First I thought Kerbisher and Malt couldn't be beat for the quality of their fish but I think Hooked has them beat. Hooked also has the Piri Piri African sauce which I like to mix with the tartar sauce for some added spice. In terms of the cod though it just simply melts in your mouth with barely any chew. I hate chewy cod. Hooked just knows how to select and cook their fish because it is has been perfect the last 4 or 5 times I've ordered from here. I hope they gain some more recognition because it is the best fish and chips place I've had so far and I've tried probably 30+ establishments.

Having been told to try Hooked Fish Bar we are well and truly HOOKED. We ordered 2 pieces of haddock which was fried there and then, so had a short wait which was worth it, that's a tick nothing better than freshly cooked fish. It was beautiful best we have had. Chips were okay, so many just for two of us. Highly recommend, check out their web site for menu.

Dropped in again for a takeaway. All freshly cooked, chips excellent, pie steaming and good service. Some of the best value around.

Called in after concert at apolla, , friendly attentive staff, fresh fish n chips, nothing to much trouble, don't accept cards cash only, good menu if you don't want a full meal, worth a visit.

Great restaurant near to Apollo Hammersmith. Friendly staff, clean and modern interiors. Food cooked to order ..good variety. Enjoyed cod and chips and falafel wrap..well cooked and nicely presented. Good value would definitely recommend for pre gig meal.
