My housemate recommended this chip shop and yep agree, it’s great. Chips and battered sausage were good quality, good service and reasonable prices. Right beside Penge east train station. Really enjoyed it and recommend.

Regularly reliable spot for two piece chicken and chips in a box, about £4.10, and for good Fish and Chips. They do a lot of Deliveroo business and are high turnover/busy busy. Turkish team behind the counter. There used to be a metal table outside but that's gone. On sunny days the nearby train platform catches the rays at lunchtime, as does a wall near the bus stop.

Located adjacent to the East Penge rail station, this is the kind of storefront place you might pass a hundred times without noticing. I read several of the reviews here which maybe unfairly blame the takeaway for long delivery times which in fact are more a problem with the third party delivery services which are overwhelmed during the pandemic. I walked from a nearby neighborhood B&B and ordered fish & chips which was served up immediately very fresh and hot. I ordered both large fish and large chips portions. The portions were so large they could have satisfied two people with some left over. The fish in particular was a almost 12" long and up to 1/2" thick; and the chips were crisp with the right amount of malt vinegar. I found both items high quality and tasty but like anything fried are best eaten while hot. Their menu is surprisingly large and even includes burgers and doner kebabs. Service was immediate and friendly. No alcohol is served but canned soft drinks of many varieties are available. A great place to grab a quick order of the old standards as you exit the train station. Reasonable prices too. Worst fish & chip shop ordered over the phone told 5-10 minutes to collect wanted 40 minutes and order was still not ready. Staff have a big problem and a VERY bad attitude.

Allowing for holidays we probably have fish and chips from there about 40 Fridays per year . Always really good , friendly service and spotlessly clean . I always go and collect in person as I'm not a fan of the likes of Deliveroo and co - plus I prefer all the money I spend to go to the people that make it . I can't fault them and having used them for maybe 10 years or more I can't really say anything more other than I'm having fish and chips tonight and its not even a Friday!

We ordered 3 fish and chips from here and when it was delivered 1.5 hours late it was cold and looked and tasted like the fish had been sitting in the warmer for about 2 days. I will never order from here again I’m sure there are better fish and chips shops around

Eaten outside early August about 6pm. There's one seat by a metal table. It's really for deliveroo drivers and other takeaway folks, some of whom were showing them a mobile. Cod nice large flakes, chips plentiful. Regular flow of customers. I find this place reliable for Cod and Chips and would recommend it to take away or delivery customers.

We ordered cod, scampi, chips, curry sauce and mushy peas - all absolutely delicious. Batter was crispy and not oily and the cod was thick and meaty. Huge portions. Ordered via deliveroo.

Whether delivered or pop in to the shop, the food is always fantastic, from Cod to kebab it's a one stop shop, I have been using them for 18 years, but I moved away from the area but I still travel back for there food

Absolutely love this place. One of the best fish and chips in the area! The food is always fresh and tasty. Very clean. Fish was beautifully cooked and chips were very nice. It’s a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Good choices on menu. I’ve been coming here for years. I would definitely recommend.
