The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Southwark London

Delighted with my spur of the moment to treat myself to fried fish. Cooked to order in 6 mins and really fresh generous portion. Excellent value. Friendly staff . Such a welcome contrast to the over priced famous local fish restaurant near here that is almost always a big disappointment these days.

El mejor F&C en el sur de Londres. He venido aquí por más de 35 años para nuestra comida del viernes. Amplio menú, todo cocinado por expertos. Muy recomendable. 'Nuff dijo.

Back on a sunny day in March, still in my opinion the best fish and chips in London, although yes this time the chips were replaced with wonderful mushy peas. The review from August 2024 still holds true: Wonderful whole cod fillet, perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, juicy and flakes nicely. Both fish and chips well drained and not dripping with grease. Friendly staff. Price in relation to quality very good.

Excellent food, good service, nice pleasent atmosphere. Enjoyed our lunch. Great conclusion to our excursion to Borough Market.

Had one of the best seafood meals I’ve ever had. The scallops in particular stood out as sublime. Delicious cold champagne by the glass set off our attractive plate of oysters very well. Risotto was excellent. Service was very prompt even though the place was packed. My only criticism would be that they never seem to offer a chocolate dessert!

Brilliant meal, tasty drinks and fabulous atmosphere until a waitress was asked by another table for a heater. Instead of asking us first, the waitress grabbed our heater, turned it around and acted shocked when we asked why ours had been taken away. We were confused as to why she would prioritise one customer over another and asked the waitress, to which she replied “it’s their fault” (about the other customers). Another waitress (Adelina) came over and understood our dissatisfaction, made room for us at the bar inside , had a great conversation with us and even asked the chef to prepare a starter for us that had previously been on the menu but taken off. Top notch service by Adelina and because of her we would definitely return again. True hospitality.

La semana pasada tuve una muy buena salida de este lugar. El viernes pedí la misma comida para llevar y no fue buena. El pescado terminó en la papelera y las papas fritas no estaban frescas. ¿Cómo puede un lugar ser tan bueno una semana y basura la siguiente?

Early visit, had prawns in garlic butter. Perfectly cooked, didn't need the chilli sauce, prawns were sweet enough. Fresh salad, nicely dressed. Turbot and rock salmon both perfectly cooked. Spinach had a bit of excess water, but otherwise all good. Very good table service, guy that took order was very knowledgeable about dishes. Would definitely eat here again when in the area.

Fresh, flavourful wraps and big portions. Definitely one of the places worth trying out at Borough Market. I especially recommend the Halloumi wrap.

Absolutamente el mejor pescado con papas fritas que he probado. El pescado era increíblemente fresco, perfectamente cocinado (no graso o seco en absoluto! ) , y el precio era fantástico. Servicio amable también. Parece un favorito local, un verdadero hallazgo lejos de las multitudes turísticas.

Lo visité para esta noche, la cena... fue absolutamente excepcional... el ambiente... un servicio brillante... me encantaría regresar... el restaurante realmente marca todas las casillas.
