Seabird in Southwark

Views and chews! Before arriving in London I stumbled upon this restaurant on IG and immediately made reservations. My travel companions and I love seafood and the view's seemed unmatched so It was a no brainer. The restaurants decor is amazing and dreamy. And once you step outside to the rooftop you're immediately met with amazing views of London. Now for the food. If you're a seafood lover this place is for you. We opted for the calypso tower (clams, grilled mussels, langoustines, red prawns, tuna tartare) and it was everything! Then enjoyed a few small plates. Only gripe was upon arrival it took some time before we were waited upon. But once that was sorted out we thoroughly enjoyed our evening, the food and the beautiful sunset. If you plan on dining here make reservations. It fills up quickly.

While sitting indoors offers breathtaking views, the outdoor terrace is perfect for enjoying cocktails. Very pleasant staff; everyone is consistently friendly and professional.

Came here for my baby shower and I had a lovely experience. The venue is stunning. Stylish, colourful, breathtaking view of London. The food was good and well presented and customer service was great too. I would definitely go back. Value: 9/10

Abby provided a 5-star, bar-raising service. She made a tired traveler feel so welcomed with her genuine nature and attentiveness. Knowledge of the menu, quick action, and a customer first approach are just a few highlights. Hospitality is a gifting and she’s got it! And it doesn’t hurt that the drinks were spot on. Alex and the rest of the bartending staff have allowed their creativity to bolster an already tasty dining experience.

Stunning venue. The rest never lived up to expectations. Service was a bit fragmented. Dawn was really sweet. Food was average I’m afraid. Drinks were expensive. Screaming baby 7 Friday evening. £382.38 for two of us!! Place was pretty dead atmosphere wise. I can see why. I will not be back I’m afraid. Sorry guys. So many other great places on that budget. Up your game!

The Seabird is a beautiful spot. The decor and ambience had me mentally redecorating my whole house to match. Our lunch started with a welcome from Nick, who guided us through the extensive wine list and recommended perfect pairings for the dishes. The food was impeccable from start to finish, with the highlight being the sea bass which was so perfectly cooked on a charcoal grill, set off with the freshness of the mojo verde. The service was flawless throughout, we were blown away by the professionalism and attentiveness of Dora and Sevil. Rounding off our lunch, we moved out to the roof terrace where Nick and Jayden demonstrated their expertise in mixology, with innovative and perfectly crafted cocktails. Thank you to team at The Seabird, this was a lunch to remember and we will definitely be back!

This is now my favourite place in London. Incredible selection of Spanish/portuguese food, personalized service and the best views of central London. Will definitely come back! I recommend the Spanish chorizos and the Sea bass. Spot on!

We sought out Seabird for the oyster happy hour. We treated ourselves to 3 dozen oysters for a very reasonable price which then left money in the kitty for champagne! The outside space is stunning and unfortunately the weather forced us to stay indoors. I will be back for summer.

We have dined at Seabird regularly - and are a big fan of the Hoxton brand, but last night was particularly special. My wife and I and another couple were there to celebrate (belatedly) my wife's 50th with some drinks and nibbles. The entire night was made by Rob, the chef at the oyster station, and the attention of Wulfe (may have gotten his name slightly wrong - apologies). Rob took the time to really talk us through the oyster selection and didn't steer us wrong. Throughout the afternoon and evening, we had a long conversation where Rob gave us the benefit of his oyster knowledge, including a very useful shucking lesson! And his special recipe for baked oysters is fabulous - we went back for seconds on those. Rob added a complimentary oyster or two to our oysters, allowing us to compare and keep making some great choices. The highlight of the evening was Rob sending us home with a little bottle of his excellent mignonette - a wonderful touch (as was the complimentary mango ice cream for my wife's birthday). We'll come back again to have more oysters and education with Rob!

We took our granddaughter aged 13 for a birthday treat. We all loved it. The food was excellent and interesting and my food intolerance well catered for. The staff were very relaxed and friendly and the view of a full moon and sparkling London amazing.

On arriving, we were a small bit disappointed that our table wasn’t ready. While waiting on the terrace we didn’t feel that the service was particularly attentive - but - once we were seated at our table that all changed. Our waitress Abbi was fantastic from start to finish and catered to our every need. From being the only staff member to acknowledge the wait, to bidding us farewell at the elevator, she truly went above and beyond for us throughout. It was a very special occasion and Abbi really made it for us. Hope she gets the recognition she deserves! The food and drinks were brilliant as well and the restaurant as a whole had a great vibe and great views. Will be back!

We had an amazing dining experience at Seabird, from start to finish! Servers and hosts were very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable!
