Herne Hill Fish Bar in Southwark

Delighted with my spur of the moment to treat myself to fried fish. Cooked to order in 6 mins and really fresh generous portion. Excellent value. Friendly staff . Such a welcome contrast to the over priced famous local fish restaurant near here that is almost always a big disappointment these days.

Always freshly cooked fish and chips and always too many great chips! Been going there for many years and very reasonably priced. The only ones that beat the fish and chips are the Dolphin in central Aberdeen, Scotland and Sea Breeze in Northern Cyprus but they are too far to go for take away fish and chips!

Siempre ha sido el mejor pescado y lo he estado usando durante muchos años. Probé con otros, pero siempre volví al gusto aquí, los amigos vienen a nosotros y nos preguntan si pueden comer pescado y papas fritas en este lugar, aunque ambos somos excelentes cocineros.

Propietarios maravillosos que son muy amables Soy vegetariano y ellos lo batirán y freirán halloumi si lo tomo. La mejor tienda de papas fritas en la que he estado.

Muy buenos fish n chips clásicos. Preciosa tienda familiar de pescado y patatas fritas con un servicio muy amable. Recomendar.
