Truly excellent experience- Bromley's best kept secret?

Hemos estado recibiendo nuestras cenas de pescado con papas fritas de los viernes de Marlow Rd durante 20 años. Excelente cada vez! Estamos muy mimados en SE 20, ya que hay varios chipspies excelentes, pero Marlow Rd siempre es nuestra primera opción.

Pedí un gran pescado y patatas fritas y ambos eran excelentes El tamaño de la porción era más grande de lo esperado y una gran relación calidad-precio El personal era muy amable y servicial Definitivamente volveré

Love this place always treats u like family

It is a surprising hidden gem that caters to all fish lovers in an area that's surprisingly lacking a variety of fish. Not only do they cater for the Friday night chippies but they have really lovely Mediterranean inspired cuisine. I'd highly recommend the Swordfish, but their seafood platter is a steal for fried fish fans. Service was very friendly and they genuinely wanted to know how much we enjoyed the food. My partner and I were very pleased and will happily come back again.

High prices for low quality food. After not coming to my local chip shop for a few years, I was really hoping that it would have improved since the new management. Unfortunately the only thing that has changed is the fact there’s seats in there… The whole place is still extremely outdated and dirty and the food is still as bad as it was when Mo worked here. They are so stingy with the batter on the sausages , it was soggy and not crispy at all. The Haddock was also very overpriced and didn’t taste nice. The chips were not cooked properly, which should be the easiest thing… Avoid this place, there are so many better chip shops within a one mile radius which also aren’t a rip off !

Sunday, 13 October 2024 - Lunch. The restaurant set up a beautiful table setting for my family of 18 members. My Mum was unable to walk up the stairs, so immediately the host rearranged the ground level patio area to accommodate my family of 18 - beautiful table setting and overhead heaters turned on to ensure the area was warm and welcoming. The food served was excellent! Every request was accommodate both food and drink. This will be our spot for family lunch/dinner get togethers/ family reunion, going forward! :-)

Awards wining ? , very bad customer care , ordered via Deliveroo costing £30 , item arrived and large chips were missing , rang the shop , told nothing they can do and to ring Deliveroo , why wasn’t they fault item missing !!! Was told nothing they can do ? , they messed up the order , they should contact Deliveroo not me ! , then to be told oh it’s only chips , wow nice reply .. If I am passing there refund my chips 😃 disappointed , we all make mistakes , yet there unwilling to sort it out , when there mistake ..

The food and service were very good. I went with my parents and I had fried calamari with chips. They had a tray with calamari, chips, fish and prawns and they also liked it.
