Blue Harbour Seafood Restaurant in Bromley

Such a wonderful dining evening we had ! The food was so excellent, fresh and good sizes. We had a perfect half Lobster with delicious sauce and huge yummy Dover Soles with garlic butter, was so surprising good. And don’t forget the King Prawns as main course. Everything for reasonable prices. We loved it especially because we had Tam as a waiter. He was so charming and recommend the best for us. Thanks for that awesome Dinner !

We were staying in Bromley visiting from Australia. The seafood was exceptional and the service from the owner was first class. We will be back in Bromley in May 2025 and will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Amazing service, equally amazing food. Went for hubby's birthday and staff made it so special for him. Waiter was fantastic with the kids also. We live quite far away but would definitely come back again if we are ever in the area.

We discovered this restaurant recently despite living in Chislehurst for the past 9 years. We are very impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent and friendly service. I grew up by the sea and I am very picky with fish and this is always perfect. This is a low key restaurant with food that highly exceed the first impression you could have of this restaurant. Prices are reasonable for fresh fish and the wine list is attractive and well priced. Better than any restaurants in Chislehurst or Bromley (most restaurants in the area are substandard serving frozen ingredients). I definitely recommend. Attached picture of a beautiful Turbot we had yesterday along with mussels marinières as a starter.

Really nice atmosphere, went on a Thursday evening and it was fairly quiet. Nice cocktails for starters and the food came out in reasonable time. The halibut was really nicely cooked and my partner enjoyed his lobster thermidor.

Paying half of hundred pounds for a lobster burger in bromley, I would expect golden leafs and lobster to be delivered and cooked directly from sea an hour before it's served. An absolute joke. 2/10

Wanted some fish for dinner 🍽 and was really surprised at the quality of food. Had 3 courses and all courses were of the highest quality and they also serve quality wines & cocktails. The staff were very welcoming & polite. A hidden gem that deserves to be visited again and again and again

usually i’m not big on seafood but last week when I was convinced to come here with a friend I was left shocked. The food is amazing, better than what I could’ve expected to receive and the staff are lovely. They are easy to talk to and handled our affairs very well. Food was beautiful and the waiting staff were so kind and very accommodating. It was expensive not gonna lie but it was so delicious it was definitely worth it. Will definitely visit again sometime

Food is AMAZING. We ordered the surf and surf and the sea bass for mains, and both seafood dishes were fresh and delicious. Totally recommend this restaurant if you love seafood, plus they serve steak 😋

Was here to celebrate my birthday last night and I LOVED it. They had live music, belly dancer, brought out my cake with a birthday song. The atmosphere was lovely, there was a lady called Zeynep there who was so nice and cheerful at all times. They honestly made my day. And the food and drink was amazing too one of the things we had was lobster and it tasted delicious!! I would 100% highly recommend this place.

We had one of the best restaurant experiences, we have ever had. The staff and owner were fantastic. They were so welcoming and accommodating. They even modified some of their dishes to suit our request. Cocktail and mocktails were fantastic. The food quality. Oh my. Lobster in brown butter and Halibut.. Need I say more. But one of the best things I've tasted was their Lobster Bisk. Full of flavour. A joy to experience and will be going back

3rd time I went with my husband and it was amazing. From the waiter that made as feel like home to the cocktails and sea food special of the day! We will cone back again. Highly recomended

The food was lacking in salt, the chips were dry but soggy, and it was pretty expensive for the taste. Nobody at the table actually liked the food.

We were early diners on a Thursday, but the place was still empty when we left just before 7pm. My dress crab and halibut were tasteless. One of the party liked her lobster bisque and linguini - but she’s always been capable of liking bad cooking.

We love this restaurant and visit mostly as a special treat or occasion. We visit with our family who live close by. The staff are friendly and are more than happy to welcome children. Our grandson has accompanied us since he was in a high chair and now 6 years old. My son insists on dining here whenever he comes back to visit from USA..

Well we’re the only table and having eaten here, I understand why. The food was well presented, but poorly cooked. I suspect the owners are skimping on quality. My dressed crab starter was served in a scallop shell, rather than the in the crab, which is unusual. I assume the crab meat is bought in frozen in bulk. It was almost tasteless, which is quite hard to achieve with crab. My halibut was grey, devoid of flavour and dry. I’m guessing it was either well past its best or went from the freezer to the deep fat frier. A shame because it’s my favourite fish. Another of the party liked her lobster bisque and linguini though. At these prices, the food ought to be better.

Wanted to try somewhere new for a group of 6 guys for a get together. Checked the website and looked good so we went last Friday 12th April. We were welcomed and shown to a table at the back of the restaurant, that was great so we could laugh out loud without upsetting people!! We all went for Fish, I had the Skate but we all agreed that it was excellent. Starters plus mains and a few bottles of wine made our evening and I would like to thank the staff for looking after us. Being introduced to the chef was a great move and we left happy. Hope to go again but we only meet a few times a year but we will defo revisit at some point.

Wow absolutely incredible!!!!! Could not recommend this restaurant enough! They are absolutely outstanding! Everything was Michelin star!! They treat you like a king/queen! And the food is mind blowing!!

We had a fabulous time today! Our first visit and it did not disappoint! Compliments to the chef and everyone who made our girls catch up awesome. Our drinks tasted really great 👍🏾

Had lovely seafood starters & got lobster on sirloin steak(surf&turf). The steak was cooked to perfection. It was my first time trying tuna tartare and must say it tasted great. Octopus was also very tasty, it literally melts in your mouth!! Staff were attentive, however they would take some time to collect the plates & glasses of the table. Also not sure if it’s because it’s a fish restaurant but the restaurant had an odd smell to it, as soon as you step a foot inside you can smell that strong odour. I also want to mention that the interior needs to be upgraded for sure. The table layout & chairs need an upgrade for sure. Other than that I have enjoyed my meal.

I come here regularly. I am always treated like family. Service is good. The staff are warm. They serve the best seafood around and my lobster portion is generous. The food is always so succulent, I struggle to decide where to start on my plate. Thanks Blue Harbour see you again soon! ;)

I had a wonderful mother's day experience at this restaurant which is one of my favourites. I wanted to enjoy the Seabass and Lobster choices that they excel in for this occasion and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff at this restaurant are also amazing 👏

I had been several times this restaurant. Staff are always helpful and friendly, I can't recommend enough. Lobster was cooked perfectly.

We recently visited this restaurant, first and last time. This is absolutely far away from a good quality. King prawn linguine came with one prawn just only for a dish over £21.00, Sea food soup was runny and very basic unde £20.00 Overall, if you have time and money to waste this is a place. We spent over 100.00 and left disappointed and hungry, went straight away to a familiar to us another local restaurant just to eat decent food, and enjoy. My advice to the management is not to see this as a criticism just analyse and evaluate your approach to business.

Had an excellent evening here recently with my partner - service was great and food delicious. Our waiter even went the extra mile and served our dessert with a candle and “Happy Birthday”. Can highly recommend this place.

My wife & I visited here for lunch today. Both the food, presentation and service were first class. We shall certainly revisit if we are in the Area

The only downside about the place are the outdated toilets. But the food was amazing, the service lovely. The bill was steep, but totally worth it. Oh. Bonus points for the excellent wines

We visited for a pre show meal last night based on the good reviews and food photos online. Unfortunately some of the food and the service was a real letdown and I can see why the restaurant was virtually empty now. My octopus (it could have been any fish) starter was well overcooked and smothered in a sauce that could have come out of a supermarket jar, and the handful of anchovies my partner had were overcooked and flavourless.Thankfully our mains (that arrived after 45minutes) were better though one of the side dishes was minute and gone in a couple of forkfuls. Unfortunately the next table we’re drunk and very loud having had many of the restaurants “Porn Star “ signature cocktails ,it was like being in a scene from east Enders but without the talent. We were charged £95 for the ordeal and not asked once whether we were happy with the food ,I would say not surprisingly. I wish we had gone to the local fish and chip shop for a better experience and saved £60 .

Wow! What a wonderful experience. Was refreshing to have a waiter (I believe he could have been the manager?) who had a fantastic sense of humour. I was particularly chuckled when he offered to hang my coat up, and when I politely declined he said “thank you for trusting me” 😂 The food was superb, I had the soft shell crab, followed by the Burger and lobster combo, washed down with a beautiful wine. I didn’t have room for dessert. I look forward to coming back in the not so distant future…

Took my daughter and grandson for Sunday lunch, food was great along with choice and service was also very good, definitely recommend this restaurant highly and will be back soon

I had a great evening with my 9-year-old daughter who wanted to try some of the seafood she saw on Masterchef, especially the scallops. It was her birthday and they made it extra special by gifting her a slice of cake and scallop shells as a gift. She was really happy and loved the dishes.

This is a proper sea food restaurant, no fish and chips. There were 4 of us, 2 had the skate wings in butter with creamed spinich and 2 had the half lobster thermidor with a sharing of proper chips, not frozen. The meal was excellent, the manager was very attentive. Thank you.

Saw this place while passing by in the area and popped in for dinner. What an amazing find. All the seafood was fresh and delicious. We got scallops, prawns, octopus, and sea bass ceviche. The scallops and prawn with garlic butter were excellent and would definitely recommend. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. Great experience!

I visited Blue Harbour on Saturday evening 23 September with four friends prior to visiting the theatre. We had a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and the menu was varied with daily specials. The food was cooked to perfection and the service efficient. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it. Thank you to all at Blue Harbour for such an enjoyable experience.

Love this place friendly staff great food (big portions! Don't overorder.). Might drop in later today. The non-fish grub is tasty too.

Came here for a late lunch with a friend today and I loved it. The food was fresh and delicious (I had the halibut fillet and my friend had the prawn linguine). Very nice portion sizes, and I found what I had to be filling. The staff were friendly and attentive and I enjoyed myself. I'd love to return to try the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I ate there , from the moment we walked through the door , the service was so warm and friendly , we had a lovely bottle of wine , for starters we had the calamari & mussels, both were so fresh and incredible! Our mains , skate & sea food linguine, again both were fantastic , lastly we had two beautiful desserts! All the food came so quickly, hot and I can’t stress this enough, HOT! We enjoyed every single bite. If you’re in Bromley south please stop in and enjoy.

We went here for a quick lunch to celebrate my wife finally being able to eat oysters following pregnancy. The food was incredible. It's so hard to find good seafood restaurants outside of central London and I'm so glad we found this one. It's one of the best that I've been to. It was like the specials board was made for me (Sea Bass ceviche and Monkfish) Will definitely be going back to this plaice (see what I did there 😁)

Took awhile to find, but proved worth the search,a varied menu but as the name suggests mostly seafood , As in most things not cheap it’s been a while since we were in England but the prices have greatly increased On everything wine was around 8 to 9 Pound for a glass starters Around 10 to 15 pound Mains 15 to 30 pounds food was well cooked and presented staff very attentive seemed to be family run and it showed all in all a very good meal and would recommend although decor could do with an upgrade and spoiled the experience somewhat although our food was as we wanted it

Absolutely delightful dining experience. The food was DELICIOUS...fresh and cooked to perfection with lovely presentation. I had the specials for starter and main but i also tried the food of 2 others in my party and all 3 were superb. The staff were extremely professional and obviously took great pride in their roles which I feel is sometimes rare these days! Very lucky to have such a great seafood option in Bromley and I would defo come back here. Thank you, Blue Harbour! Note: I notice other reviews have been a wee bit critical on decor and price but in my view, I would MUCH rather go for substance over style when it comes to food and you get what you pay for. I didn't even notice the decor because the food and service were great and I believe prices were worthwhile.

An enjoyable meal,great service and a fair price

We came for a Friday night dinner. Although the prices may be slightly higher than other Bromley restaurants, you certainly get the quality you pay for (well worth it)! We had the most incredible dinner including escargots, scallops, lobster and prawns which were all delicious. The staff were great fun and professional, and able to recommend wines to our needs. We will certainly return. Thanks!

Food - for a seafood restaurant serving closed mussels to the seafood linguini dish is pretty poor and unacceptable. Downmarked for that. Service - again serving mussels but with no pot to put the shells? Ordered mussel pot as well but didnt get a citrus wash which the other table got. Lack of consistency here. Atmosphere was good so no complaints.

Great seafood restaurant in Bromley. The prices are higher than other restaurants in the area, but it is definitely worth it for quality ingredients and the fantastic service you receive. The fish come as a stand alone and you should get a side to go with it. Though it's easier for two, as they can get a different side each and share

Excellent service and value. I had: Garlic bread for starters: Sea bass, vegetables and chunky chips for my main meal and chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Pictures were not taken or needed. Very good restaurant, lobster is excellent, wine is superb and dining is very comfortable and warm. Staff were very friendly annd welcoming, I would recommend to everyone. Parking is nice and cheap and not too far from the restaurant aswell.

The butter garlic lobster, that’s rich

I had the Seam Bream Supreme with prawns on the top. The dish itself was lovely. The only draw back was that you have to pay for your sides as the dish does not come with any side, this bumps up the cost. I also had the crab starter which was lovely. Service was good, very friendly. Its swings and roundabout's as the food was nice but it all adds up to whether you consider it to be good value. The food presentation was nice but would have preferred the sides to be included in the price. One place where you need to watch the bill as it will creep up..

Dressed crab for starters was lovely and fresh. I think it's a restaurant where you need to be aware that everything is an extra cost so that you can keep an eye on the cost of your meal. I didn't leave the restaurant feeling like I had value for the money ,but I enjoyed the food so it's swings and roundabouts. Worth a visit.

Recently visited for the first time as we didn't fancy heading into Central London for dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and service was excellent. The lobster bisque special was a highlight; it's been a long time since we've tasted such a good one and my husband didn't want me to order it for this reason but once he tried it couldn't stop eating it! Good quality seafood is not cheap but we found it to be fairly priced and portions were generous. Shame we don't live closer but will be back regardless.

Extremely over expensive overrated experience!

Delicious food - sorry, I didn’t think to take photos - fantastic service, everything beautifully presented and the atmosphere was relaxed, smart and comfortable without a hint of pretension about it. I went with friends, this afternoon 31/12/22 - my friend had planned visit but was completely spontaneous for me to join them - highly recommended!

New Year's Eve afternoon, hadn't booked, but made very welcome, great food and service. A local treasure!
