The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Hidden gem! Stayed the night for a wedding in February 2025 and honestly couldn't fault the place. So much character and in an ideal location for a break away. Based in the countryside but close to the centre. Food was incredible as was all of the service. You can tell it's a well loved place and everyone feels like family. There is also locally produced (made on site!) chocolate which looks incredible. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try but will definitely be going back for some!

The worst fish and chips I've ever had in my life avoid it all costs. The batter looks like rice pudding taste absolutely disgusting. I've tried to call them and they won't even pick up the phone. I'm gonna place it in a bag and tomorrow afternoon when they're open, I'm going to throw it in the manager's face.

Grim, Greasy old fish, sloppy batter, Re-heated chips tasted of old oil, felt sick all night after eating there slop, Surly, miserable staff, Shop smells awful, Worst chippy I’ve ever been to, Just vile.

The food just isn't good enough for the price. £8 for a few fries and a fried sausage... I don't know. Maybe it's so expensive because it's apparently a tourist town... Unfortunately, I didn't like it very much.

He estado viniendo aquí desde que era un niño pequeño en los años 80 y como familia siempre hicimos un punto de venir aquí cada vez que estábamos en Blackpool o calle Ann visitando a la familia y ahora traer a mis propios hijos. Es triste ver que la calidad realmente ha caído en particular, en los últimos 12 meses. Realmente no quiero ir a otro lado, pero la última visita tuvo una larga espera que en su pompa era normal con la gente haciendo cola por la puerta para un fantástico chippy. Ahora me entristece informar que simplemente no es lo que una vez fue con un largo tiempo de servicio para un chippy promedio. ¡Por favor, dele la vuelta!

Always great fish and chips, and great service! Food is so so good, chips are perfect, fish is tasty and curry sauce is so good!

The prices are quite high for the portion sizes. A regular chips here is equivalent to a small elsewhere.

Really hard working staff - big shout out to all of them. Especially this one lovely lady in particular who really sorted me out with a battered sausage - so kind and sweet a tough place to work and they really all boss it - food is also amazing

Specifically asked for a table that had enough space for a pram. Was placed on a two person booth with tables either side and limited space. This was ok until the other party arrived. Manager made it clear to me he needed the table as it’s booked therefore I need to move my pram back and leave my children there in them, not part of my table when it’s a Mother’s Day lunch. I stood up and began to gather my things to leave. We were offered a different table but honestly the atmosphere was horrific with comments from other customer of ‘this isn’t ideal’ therefore we decided to just leave, and my time there was pretty much ruined. Not great for a first time out as Mother’s Day lunch. Food was undercooked and meal was pretty much left. If you can’t accommodate demands of what people require, don’t book them in, simple.

Been meaning to go here for a long time and so glad we finally made it! It’s a delightful restaurant with super friendly staff. As for the food… well it was great and this place deserves its reputation. The prices we felt were reasonable, remember fresh fish and seafood isn’t a factory farmed commodity!! We can’t wait to go back soon… my only recommendation is book first, we walked in and were lucky!! Glad we did..!! Enjoy…

Moved to Gosport a couple of months ago, and decided to do an off the cuff Sunday afternoon visit to The Creek with my 16 year old daughter. A lovely welcome, a few bits not available as they had been busy. I had the beef roast and my daughter had the burger - both really nice meals. I will be back. I also thought it would just be a nice place to go for a beer and look out over the marina.

Had a lovely gluten free fish and chip meal with a scallop. The chips were very tasty, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The fish was well cooked, it was great to have a scallop as I haven't had a gluten free one. The lady who served us was very nice. Portion was generous.
