Customer service has become a joke! have used this takeaway loads of times. Food has always been good so has the customer service when I have been collecting. However, this time I got given a just eat voucher from work, so I thought I'd use it here but they don't accept vouchers. Now, that's not an issue. When I called up to ask him to ensure we had the right condiments; in a raised and harsh tone of voice he proceeded with "WE DO NOT ACCEPT VOUCHERS HERE, THAT IS A JUSTEAT DEAL!!!" which was uncalled for and unacceptable esp by the owner of the business. After I put the phone down I realised he had cancelled the order. He has just lost a very loyal customer who always ordered direct, collected and paid CASH. The voucher would not take any money from him, JE pay the business the difference. I say that as someone who has worked in takeaways using JustEat. Maybe read the small print of your contract with JustEat If I wasn't so tired I would have gone to the shop to explain the above, but I was and now I will not be returning. So this will have to do. Unfortunately, my relationship with WFB has come to a drastic end. I hope they learn from this, because it is a good takeaway after all

DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY Food was like warm... Peas weren't cookes... Also didn't listen to instructions on food specifications... Failed to deliver drink and when asked driver to sort it because of distance driver complaining about sorting it and gives less money back that value of item.... And complained i lived too far from takeaway.... Don't like driving orders... Why work as a TAKEAWAY DRIVER

Ordered fish cakes had at a later date deep fried in deep fat fryer bloody horrible the fish was prossed grey in colour never go there again

Came overnight from Dorset to visit my sister ordered Large chips and fishcake when I got home fishcake was like rubber staff were rude won't use again

I have ordered some food and the guy charged me 27 pound for a pizza and fish and chips this is insane 😡and when I said that I want cancel they just don’t answer the phone

Tried charging me £7 for a chip butty seriously!….prices seem inflated anyway, but this just takes the ….. The owner here is very greedy and makes prices up obviously! I’ve been a customer here many many years….nice food most of the time, but becoming way over priced since this guy took over. Previous owner was sound! Also noticed today his fingernails are absolutely filthy….don’t think I’ll be going back 🤢🤢🤢

This place used to be a lovely chippy, now it's gone right down hill.

My first time visiting this place, I popped in 45 mins before closing time and the guy wouldn't fry me any chips. Offered me some fish that had probably been sat there a while, but realistically, who wants fish without chips. I can't rate the food as I didn't eat any but for his laziness, I would say the service I experienced was poor. I wouldn't come here again.

Decent pizza. Fish and chips good also. Prompt service. Appeared clean and well kept.

The batter was sloppy,there was hardly any fish in my fish cake,my husbands fish tasted more like haddock instead of the cod he ordered.NEVER AGAIN

My very first visit. I tend not to have takeaway food and more akin to making my own from scratch, but tonight I wanted something different. I was pleasantly surprised by the ample portions of chips, massive cod fillets and mushy peas. The quality of the cod was A1 and really fresh. Quite honestly possibly the best I have had, better than Whitby's and Harry Ramsden's. All freshly prepared in front of you. The shop was clean, staff pleasant and I recommend. The App is defective and does not give you 10% off on your sixth order Needs sorting. Staff friendly.

We used to order quite often (csc), this week we ordered 3 types of chips, small, medium, large. Large was at a cost of £3.50!!!! and I expected a large portion. The portion was of a normal/even small size size of their old normal size of much less. The medium looked pretty much the same.......the small size (same as old price for a portion of chips but smaller) was basically, enough to put in a small chip butty (20 chips max). Three people had fish and chips, really, really woeful , one had a pie with his small chip's and we had to give him some of our chip's. Go somewhere else. Sort yourselves out with portion size and price..........you are going to lose business "!!!!!!!!

service was not great, guy creeped me out and his fingers were really dirty, pizza came wi burnt crust and the meat tasted slightly uncooked, asked for extra cheese and didn’t realise i was getting a side of rubber with that. good hygiene rating is definitely wrong, there were flies everywhere inside but overall would it was a standard trip to say it’s in wincobank. would go back however it wouldn’t be my first choice

Decent all round take away. Has been under new management for a few months now and there is a big improvement to the pizzas and kebabs. I wasn't a fan of pizzas in the past but I love them now. Chips served are typical fish shop chips not pizza shop chips but they are decent so I can't complain.

Awful quality, the chips were like cardboard and the fishcake was really greasy.

Id give it zero stars if possible, What an appalling service, ordered online for our food to be delivered for their app to then say "error" once i pressed confirm. The money was taken from my account instantly but when i contacted the restaurant to see what happened with my order they said they couldn't find it and didn't seem bothered at all about helping after i drove to the shop i received a confirmation email and my food showed up? Definitely was not worth the hassle the drive to wincobank or the money won't be ordering again

Shocking i orderd on sunday night to be delivered to my address to paying for the food and taking the money for it of my girlfriend card not to even have a order placed i go down to the shop to be given a number i have to ring i ring them and they tell me im not getting my money back do not go here they will rob your money i will be contacting the police for theft shocking

Beautiful takeaway, just had pie, chips, curry sauce, mushy peas and pizza and chips for kids, no faults what so ever, we will use this takeaway from now on. Very nice. 😊😊

Been in twice and both times got order wrong, in addition to this, the prices are on the expensive side for what I would consider average quality and portion size, tried overcharging both times too.

Wanted beans but was told sternly they didn't have beans so had gravy instead which tasted worse than NHS gravy, chips tasted like they had been fried in old oil & the battered sausage was inedible

Stunning food!! I've sampled so many chippies over the past 20 years or so, mainly through travelling or working away, but also clearly by choice. Well this easily ranks in my top 3!! Actually given proper chip shop chips, which sounds strange, but you'd be surprised these days. Everything was spot on, wasn't waiting long either, despite delivering, and incredibly generous. Very impressed, definitely ordering from again!!! 😁

Food is generally good, big improvement especially the chips on what they use to be like. The prices are ridiculous though £9 for Chips, fish and curry. Ive never paid so much not even on coast where standards tend to be better.

Desde que me mudé a la zona, he visitado este chippy 3 veces y cada visita ha sido la misma. Rápido para tomar su pedido, llámelo en la caja y tome su dinero y luego todo se detiene. Es como el tiempo de congelación. En mi última visita fui por una salchicha y papas fritas para mi hija y un pastel de pescado. La salchicha y el pastel de pescado estaban cocinados en la ventana, pero estuve allí casi 15 minutos. Los precios son mucho más altos que en otras tiendas de chips y la calidad no es tan buena, pero los tiempos de espera son inaceptables. Iré a otro lado.

Been stopping in the travelodge Meadowhall and this is just round the corner. Great food. I've been a few times now. Definitely recommend. Fish and chips. Lamb shish kebab were both great.

I must say fish tasted nice but you could give it a bit more time to fry as batter was not done at some places. Chips tasted good but also they would be better if fried longer, unfortunately they were soggy and oily same as a fish. I wouldn't mind if I receive order even 20 minutes later as long as the food is nicely and properly done. And of course there was supposed to be a bottle of drink free but I didn't receive it. I called to restaurant and spoke to male staff which was very polite and apologised saying that I'll receive a bottle with a next order.

Oder at 840 came at 930 which I didn't think was to bad however wheb I open it up there was items missing so I had to rung up to get missing items. The fish was overcooked the battered was so overdone it was really grease over all there are better place out there wish I had read more review first

I received someone else’s order, which more by luck than judgement contained part of my order, but the rest of my order was missing and had to be delivered later.

Good food, pizza base thinner than expected but still very tasty.

Had to chase my order. Late by 20 minutes. Some aspects were fresh, but some such as these peas tasted watered down and slightly burnt. Price was better than competitors and so was minimum order amount.
