I've try the Ginger Burger for the first time I had the perfect amount of spice... I'm used to ordering fries 🍟 and there done fresh 😋

Really friendly staff and great chips!

the woman was really rude. Made dirty looks. Made us feel almost stupid. Flies were everywhere. We ordered a wrap and a tray of donner kebab. The chips were thick and hardly cooked, the wrap smelled horrible and was so small. Not only that but the kebab was crispy and looked very unappetising. And we couldn’t get garlic sauce in a pot? It had to be either on or we couldn’t have it at all. £10.98 absolutely down the drain, do not come and buy!!

I order large Donner kabab with chips.food was nice and it's very large portion it's more worth what I spent

Food was ok, left a lot to be desired. £17.50 for 2x 1/4lb Burger meals (£5.50), 1x Lrg and 1x Sml Sausage (£2 & £1.50) and 1x "Lrg" Chips (More Like Small) £3 - Family of 4!

Got chips and curry sauce when I got home witch is only a few minutes away the meal was stone cold will not go there again

Ordered a large cod and chips I have never seen cod cut so wafer thin. When I order a large cod I expect a large cod not a large wafer thin piece of oil drenched batter. I asked fir a large cod this was not a large cod.

Friendly owners for sure. But the shop was an untidy and sad place to be, utterly deserted and rundown. Very average chips and stingy small portion sizes. Really slow serving as well. These guys will be closing down soon at this rate.

Went above and beyond to fix an order that was missing a couple of things - think it was a mix up through Uber Eats but they went out of their way to cook us a fresh order - very kind and great service which was much appreciated, thank you!

Watch out with this place, there seems to be a lot of fake five star reviews appearing which is giving this place a unfair review. It's easily the worst chippy in Sheffield

Used to be good, but has gone severely downhill, and only gets worse with every revist. Do yourself a favour and don't come here. Cold food, smaller portions, and microwaved meat dryer than the sahara. The service is also atrocious - the staff are cold and uncaring, and are constantly seeking new ways to rip you off. Easily the worst chippy I've ever been to.

After a long time I found a good and tasty restaurant in sheffield.the service is very good and helpful.the pizza which I ordered was so tasty.fish chips were awesome.its really a reasonable priced restaurant where i can fulfill my stomach with a delicious food.

Probably some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Lopa served us and was very friendly and such a lovely lady. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

I come here for food regularly on my way home from work. The food has always been nice and I've never had any issues with it. Staff are always friendly and talkative while I'm waiting for my food

Ordered Biryani, biryani has no flavour , it’s served frozen and tasteless. Also it’s rotten and had a bad smell. Please don’t order biryani from here specially because it’s not served fresh and it’s frozen.

Fish portion was way too thin. Batter seemed overcooked. The shop didn't look overly hygienic either. I won't be going back unless I'm desperate.

I don’t think the cod was even cod only edible bit was peas and they were cold, gravy was like water. It all went into the bin. Will never order from here again

Just came here for lunch and was suprised to see they offer curries alongside traditional fish and chips. Got the chilli chicken with chips and it was lovely and spicy with the meat being 100% chicken breast. Very good price and value. I've heard they will start doing breakfasts in the morning soon too so keep an eye out for that.

Place could do with clean up and person behind counter as well... Can't say anything about food because the only thing I had is chicken wrap.. but chicken was not fresh..it was frozen and out of microwave. Place is generally dirty.

A large variety of different takeaway options where they should probably concentrate on one. Fish and chips, burgers, kebab, pizza. I feel the quality suffers because of that. The fish wasn’t allowed to rest after frying so the batter stuck to everything and the fish disintegrated. I’ll go back later and will revise the score if it has improved :)

Fish and chips were quite greasy. Burger wasn't really anything special. The garlic bread was the saving grace honestly

I’ve been looking for a new pizza shop in town that’s open at dinner time and I wasn’t disappointed. A proper takeaway pizza! And not to mention they’re buy one get one free at the moment too. A real bargain. The guy serving was friendly aswell.

It was a few minutes into the World Cup final when I opened the app. 73 restaurants of over 180 were delivering at all. The weather was very cold. I ordered a large fish and chip meal with curry sauce, which is exactly what arrived. The fish and chips were wrapped in paper together The main element of the meal was the best part. The fish was hot and the batter largely crispy. Curiously, the chips, whilst plentiful in quantity, were limp and lukewarm by comparison with the fish, suggesting the former had been resting at a lower temperature for sometime before wrapping, but also that the driver had transported the food very efficiently. It was difficult to separate the somewhat greasy paper from the food when serving. So it's full marks for the fish and the courier, and a recommendation to reduce the number of chips, but use a better quality potato, cook them fresh to order and wrap them separately. All said and done, not a bad effort for a freezing, wet Sunday afternoon - thanks for being there!

Food arrived cold was rang by delivery driver to say was outside which I was also which the driver beeped horn and expected me to go to his car to collect order delivery not very happy

Two items missing from order - chips and garlic bread.

Definately happy with the new owners. Was unsure at first yet really wanted, fish & chips with mushy peas and this was the only place open. Very pleasantly surprised how nice the food was and certainly going to order again in future.

Called in on spec as in Sheffield overnight for a job interview. Found by chance. Absolutely delicious, high quality fish and really nice chips. Freshly cooked and piping hot. Nice couple behind the counter. Very impressed.

It serves good fish and chips, but since Coronavirus I don’t use cash anymore, like most of my friends and family it’s safer to use contactless, and they only take cash. Hence 2 stars.

Good value fish and chips in a real old fashioned chippy, freshly cooked and the owner is such a friendly lady.

Really nice chip shop, great value and portion sizes. Friendly and fast staff. Indoor seating also available, though there is not much, only a few seats. One of, if not, the best chippies in Sheffield town centre.

El pescado y las patatas fritas estaban bien, nada especial. Pero el valor era impresionante. 5. 50 para bacalao grande y chips pequeños. El bacalao estaba recién cocinado y la cantidad de papas fritas era alta considerando que eran "pequeñas". Como el bacalao es considerado un pez primordial en estos días, esto era, según los estándares modernos, una ganga.

He ido a esta tienda de pescado y papas fritas cada año durante los últimos 4 años cuando el billar está en el crisol y disfruté mucho de una comida sentada. . Sin embargo, en esta ocasión, recientemente, el sábado 4 de mayo de 2019, la comida estuvo muy por debajo del estándar. Tuve que esperar 20 minutos para que el pescado estuviera recién cocinado. Cuando llegó, la masa estaba completamente oscura y quemada. Fue terrible Ahora he decidido buscar en otra parte en mi próxima visita a Sheffield y después de esta experiencia, recomendaría a otros que sigan mi ejemplo.

Cheap, Quick. Helpful staff. Fish and chips just like it used to be. What's not to like? If you are visiting the City and need to fill up your nosebag, there's no better place to go.

I went here after finishing work, I did some shopping and I was starving! I love how you can always smell the lovely scent of fish & chips enticing you in. I had a small tray of chips for £1.60 and a bottle of pop for £1.30. The chips were lovely, there's also places to sit so I didn't have to be out in the cold wind. The lady serving was so friendly and welcoming. Very convenient.

I went here years ago when it fist opened and i didn't rate it. Now I live in the city centre and was surprised to find this stays open late enough for a fish tea. SO, I thought i'd give it another chance. Thankfully, this time they were much better. Tasty chips and fresh, white cod, all made to order. Be warned, they are huge persons and the small was still too much for me. Friendly staff too. Nice!

Up in Sheffield to meet my son who studies here. This chippy is very central. We both had small fish chips sauce with a can of drink for £4.20 each, very nice fresh cod.the lady serving was very friendly too.

Only been a couple of times but my husband is a regular, the chips are fresh and well cooked and good value for money and the staff are always friendly. Keep up the good work, a good chip shop is hard to find.

The Trawlers Catch has recently had new management appointed and wow! the fish and chips are gorgeous. I had a mini fish, chips and sauce special and for less than £3.00 its a must have! Will definitely be a regular visitor.
