Usually call here for a chip butty or fishcake butty to walk home with. Hubby had his first fishcake butty on Friday and commented how good it was. Lots of fish, perfect amount of potatoes all surrounded by a lovely crispy batter. Staff are really friendly too 😃

Ordered a large chippy tea for seven with a mix of fish, burger and chicken. Everything cooked fresh to order, was really tasty and chips were just right. Didn't have the burger myself but it looked amazing, would definitely return if we were back in the area.

Ordered a chicken kebab with Mayo ( No chilli ) Athough I waited agesover for the food,the nan was cold and soggy. The chicken mushy in a red sloppy sauce.Not cooked well at all! ....I did take pics of the meal and Would have returned but was in bit of a rush ....was on way out. Live n learn won't go again Maybe Fish and chips a better option.

Well the staff can get done for discrimination they was saying I looked likes a bad person. Maybe because I was wearing a addidas tracksuit. So I ended up walking away then he dangles his self out of window and asks how many girlfriends? I have ? The guy is weird

Worst fish & chip shop ive visited, first and last time,ordered a fish special with curry sauce, fish and curry not too bad but the chips were uneatable, they were rock hard, and must have been fryed many times.makes me wonder if they were saturdays warm ups as they were so disgusting,if this happens all the time im suprised it stays open.

Best fish and chips locally. We have got our fish and chips from here for the past 25 years and although it has had a number of different owners standards have never changed. The new owners have updated the front of shop but little else has changed. Great staff, great food, what more could you want.👍

Today June 20th we ordered 2 fish specials 2 large battered sausages and a medium chips. The sausages were well over cooked .The chips if I would have asked for scraps then they would have been acceptable. The fish was the smallest we've had from here ,I understand prices have gone up , but you've put your prices up and also made the fish smaller .One unhappy regular maybe think again next time we want chippy tea. Don't normally write on these pages but very annoyed threw half of our tea away.

Been going to this chippy for a long time near on 20 year and never had a bad one until the latest owners got it, completely changed the Kebabs no more bright red tikka meyt and the chips were like cardboard, why on earth they just didn't keep to what everybody knows like every other done since forever I can't fathem for life of me this will be my last visit for sure

They have great collection of kebabs and fish and chips menu. If you are a food lover looking for value for money, delicious Kebab, this is the best place in the Woodhouse. Very reasonable prices in the area. Highly recommended 👍!!!

Very tasty fish & chips. Had a bit of a wait but my fish was cooked fresh and that's always worth it. Good prices. Polite and courteous staff. A very good fish & chip shop if you are in the area and wanting food.

Didn't have anything and wouldn't put anything in. Fishcake was burnt and dry. Cury wasn't chipshop style and resembled diarrhoea in look and consistency. Large chips also tasted refryed. I would strongly advise not to eat here.

Not too bad, when the old guy is on the counter the atmosphere is a bit miserable, when the younger bloke is on I leave cheerier than when I went in.

I've been to this chip shop a few times in the past month, i liked it at first, but now i wont be going again. a few hours after eating a large cod from this shop I've been vomiting and stuck on the toilet for hours. I'm guessing either the fish or the potatoes aren't stored at the correct temperature. I am sure its the fish and chips that has done it because the only other thing I've eaten today is toast.

Been twice now, will add a pic next time as it's definitely worth it. Great portions with very fresh fish . The chips are so tasty. They also do a hotter curry instead of the fruity one which I've net been able to find elsewhere in Sheffield. The kids have sausage and love them. Definitely the only chippy for us now.

Good portions and nice food. Cook in Veg oil so great for vegetarians like me. Parking outside. Fast service. Our favourite chippy.

Three people in front of us, took 23 minutes from arrival, to serving, to produce and order of 2 lot's of chip's, one fishcake and one fish. I would suggest the service moves at around the pace of a snail. Avoid unless you have unlimited time and patience

Called in today around 2.30pm, was told no chips even after 3 customers in front of me got chips. Was told only fishcakes left. How does a chip shop run out of chips? Seriously..

Went here as I called by the area massive portion of chips however they was like toe nails clearly been cooked and left there for a good two hours or so, as soon as I saw them I knew deep down they was going to be rubbish what a waste of £8 whatever will not be going back definitely not the place wants shutting down it’s that rubbish

Very disappointed, poor quality fish & chips, yes, a very good portion, but what's the point in having plenty of something that you won't enjoy. Definitely not as good as the nearest other 2 chippies. I've never had decent fish and chips from somewhere that sells kebabs & burgers, maybe I'm just fussy, but from past experience, I stick to places that don't happen to sell kebabs, burgers and pizzas.

We hadn’t been here for a few weeks, and were surprised to see new owners. The first thing we noticed was the empty shop, normally on a Friday at 6 you can’t move. The second thing we noticed was the price hike. Fish peas & chips for 4 plus kids meals the bill came to over £30. The fish was greasy - soggy batter, white half cooked chips and the kids sausages were re-heated. It went straight in the bin. What a waste of food and money. The new owners looked fed up and miserable....no lollipops for the kids, no smiles-obviously in it for the money
