Friendly enough guy. Chips we're 4.20 for large which was a very small portion and tasted like cardboard. Most were still hard and got thrown in the bin

It was OK chips were not that good tho hard this time.

Haven't used here for bout 2 years since I moved, have to say never again, ordered lg mixed meat and chips and salad and a battered sausage, chips were under cooked, meat was cold and sausage WELL I wouldn't even give it a rating absolutely tasteless. Mother Hubbard's has nothing to worry about, they will now be my number 1 for a chippy in Worcester. Well I see you replied, I was served just after the chap in the Webb's garden centre top, when I spend over £12 on food I expect it to be at least warm, it seems to me that the delivery guys are more important than the walk ins, enough said and also make sure your staff don't have black nail polish as it's basic food hygiene!

What a joke 15mins to get a coffee staff clearly have noidea what they are doing used to be brilliant now appalling

My husband organised the use of the function room for my birthday party. He was told we pay £50 for the use of the room, which we did a few weeks prior. The pub was relatively quiet so the party guests made good use of the bar also. Towards the end of the night the person who we organised it with came over to me, infront of all my guests and said "whose paying the £70 balance then?" Which was pretty embarrassing, he could have asked privately and politely. But aside from that we were never told we would then also have to pay £70 during the party, aswell as the £50 we'd already paid and agreed. He then showed us texts between him and someone else stating they wanted £70. We explained that we made no such agreement and those texts were between him and someone else entirely. This continued infront of everyone before my husband asked for this not to be discussed infront of me as it was ruining my 30th birthday party. The guy then went off, made a phone call, then told us we didn't need to pay the £70. No apologies and very cold and uncomfortable, so we ended the party and left. The room can fit around 30 people, fairly basic which was all we needed but to be honest the staff weren't exactly welcoming. Completely soured the night. Would be better to stick to the agreement and any discrepancies around cost should be discussed before and certainly not infront of everyone in an abrupt manner.

First found this gem 3 years ago and made a point of going back whenever we are on the island which is about 6 times a year. Staff are fun yet professional and seating on a warm day is fab. Food is consistently top level and we always clear our plates. Seriously I think this is on par with the hut in Colwell bay but so much cheaper.

Came on a recommendation for being family friendly and it definitely is. Lovely garden and very safe. Big play area and great atmosphere.

Food mostly good though we have had a couple of poor meals here , we no longer use this takeaway as there prices have gone up to much !

Absolutely awful, chips bland and no taste. All the food was cold. Sausage was rock hard and cold also I believe it was from lunch time not fresh. We normally use Tudor road but thought we would try somewhere else, never again. Friday night and no customers I can see why.

We had the pleasure of visiting Lomond Fish Bar after coming from Glasgow for my son's football match in the area, and I must say, we were not disappointed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by your really polite and attentive staff, who made us feel welcome right from the start. We ordered the Battered Smoked Sausage Supper, and I can honestly say, it was absolutely banging! The batter was perfectly crispy, and the sausage itself was delicious. My son and daughter shared a Sausage Supper, and they devoured every last bite, which is a rare occurrence as they usually leave leftovers. The overall dining experience was top-notch, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. I wanted to commend your team for their excellent service and the quality of the food. It's not often that we come across such a gem, and I can confidently say that we will definitely be visiting your establishment again in the future. Additionally, I will be sure to pass on the word to friends and family about the fantastic meal we had at Lomond Fish Bar.
