Dont waist your money!! I ordered off uber at 6pm waited for my order for an hour nothing came, I called was told its 6 mins away waited 30 mins, called again this time at 7:30pm was told my order never came through on there system, I asked to cancel the order as I don't have anymore time to wait, I have 3 autistic kids that need feeding which they knew, they decided to have uber charge me the full £38 for the order I never received, they purposely did this as I heard them talking about it, a good tip just because someone is English doesn't mean they don't speak any other languages I understood everything you said!!!

Dreadful. Despite being 5pm the chips were already stale and dry

I ordered from the Havant fish bar at 15:40 for a delivery for 17:00 and didn't receive my order until 17:20. I don't think this is acceptable as they had plenty of time given for my order.

Ordered 10 pieces of spring roll we go one .. ordered on Havant and Waterlooville site tried ringing no luck .. feel disappointed

the food is always to a high standard, always arrives early and the delivery man is awesome

Burger was nice and tasty. Fish was wet and greasy. Chip portion small when large ordered

Really nice quality fish and chips. Arrived piping hot. We’ve tried a number of chippies in the Havant area and these were by far the best.

Small fish looked like a cheap piece of fish bought from Iceland, chips were horrendous, no flavour horrible after taste, can only assume cooked in old oil. Don’t see how this place has a 4.5 star rating. Can honestly say it’s the worst I’ve had!

We had 2 large fish and 1 large chips. The fish was ok, no seasoning and the horrible after taste of oil. The chips, well what can I say! They were awful. They must have been reheated, dark in colour, the oil obviously needs changing, and tasted like old oil, they we’re disgusting 🤮 I had high hopes for this place, especially with the 4.5 rating. But nope, I won’t be returning!!

£9.50 for a full rack of ribs and there wad 6 ribs. not great value for money if I'm honest.

Very poor quality of chips, all small hard bits like you get at the bottom of a frozen bag of chips. The large cod came in a huge box but we were disappointed when we opened it and the cod hardly filled half the box. Very small and expensive. We won’t order from Havant fish bar again!

came in for a fish and chips with my partner and everything was perfect. staff were lovely and put our food on a plate and proper cutlery unlike most fish and chip shops, then were offering us sauce and making sure our food was okay. Will definatly be coming back!

Very disappointed the food tasted good but for the price it was very small ( do we have a shortage of potatoes) and to have spent £24 and left feeling still hungry won't order again wished I would have ordered Chinese

normally food here is good but, today wasn't just good, food was ruined when bag was opened, so half my siblings couldnt eat, so had to use my rest of my money to feed them. only now have I had a second to review and hope for a refund

Sadly quarter pounder meal had cheese but in the description it was quarter pounder it s hound be plain or cheese burger luckily indud not feed it to my partner who does not like cheese

I had placed the order to be delivered I was given a time about 20 minutes after. it didn't arrive so phoned restaurant to be told it was down for collection the food was eventually delivered but it was reunited. I probably will not use this restaurant again with is a shame.

I don’t know whether they have changed ownership or supplier but menu items seem to have changed. Mushy peas tasted different (worse), much runnier and a smaller portion, sausages tasted a bit off and chip portions now smaller than they were. Bit of a shame as it used to be the best in the area, it’s still decent value but I think there’s better tasting chippys in the area now.

Waited 2 hours for delivery chips cold asked for large cod X2 never seen such small peaces in all my life curry sauce like water we use this chippy every week but to night was awfull

The just eat website page showed that the meal had been delivered when it had not. Chips were lukewarm Pineapple fritter was cold Scampi was soggy

Best fish and chips in Havant. Large fresh cod, crispy batter, chips as I like them - not soggy, just right! Delivery time was on the button. Happy repeat customer.

For the price you pay you don’t really get much

We’ve ordered from here regularly but unfortunately the last few times our order has been extremely late. When we eventually received our order it was wrong, and cold, the chips did not taste of feel fresh. I called the restaurant to get the order corrected and the lady on the phone was extremely rude whilst explaining it was the drivers fault. Even with the order being well over an hour late, no apology and no offer of a refund.

Excellent batter and fish and chips just like it used to be. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Had a delivery Friday night it was late but restaurant explained about the traffic in havant which I already knew about wasn't there fault the Eastern road was closed and there had been an accident on the motorway as it took me an hour and a half to get home food was delicious as always thank you guys

Well, thought would try again, surely after 2 years it could only have got better. How foolish was that the message Stated 45mins from 17:33, 18:30 rang up they answered, so sorry will be another 15-20 mins. At this I told to cancel, no no can't do that me to him yes you can as the order hasn't left yet. After argument he agreed. Never ever again. Watch out if I don't get my money back. Ordered 1hr 25mins ago, even though website says 1hr in rush time still awaiting for it to turn up. Tried ringing to cancel the order but can't get through. Food eventually arrived but what a surprise the order was short at a cost £3.60. Still can't through think they have left phone off the hook. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. 20/11/20 Thought as the above was a little ago I would reorder again, well placed order at 17:15, 18:40 still waiting for order, no phone call or message to say running late.

Honestly only ordered here because our local one keeps letting us down with delivery. We’re a fair way away from the shop and I was very impressed with how hot fresh and crispy everything was. Top notch I’ll be ordering more often
