We stayed for 1 night and it was surprisingly nice and clean. The bathroom was modern and the bed was comfortable. It was a little difficult getting to the room with suitcases but that's our fault for travelling with big bags. The breakfast was basic but nice. Good location to walk to see some sights in the city and we used the overflow parking as there wasn't any out the back when we arrived, but it was cheap and safe and not too far away. The lady at check in was very nice and gave some tips on things to see.

Embarrassingly high prices. I rarely do reviews here, but this was a joke. Their customers must only be tourists as there’s no chance the locals shop here, unless of course they have two price lists. I went to high school in this town but now live abroad, I get that inflation has its effects, but over £3 for a scotch pie is nothing less than abuse. We bought a scotch pie, a sausage roll and a biscuit for £9 something. Mental. You can get award winning scotch pies in Perth for £1.20

We've visited a few times now for both lunch and dinner and have really enjoyed the experience. The food is delicious, the restaurant itself is beautiful, the service has always been very good and the view is spectacular! The restaurant also has a little drinks terrace overlooking the river, which seems to be very popular in the summer. Will definitely be back!

This is a difficult place to review. The location is right by the harbour. The food is wonderful. The rooms on the top floor are in the eaves so some stooping is required on one side of the room. My bathroom was on the opposite side of the corridor and the shower was quite cramped. I think if you're over 6ft then room 15 is not for you. It's a quiet location too and convenient for all the shops and the bus stop.

Asked for some items to be removed and they said that is fine and still proceed to ignore the request of items to be removed, not one member of staff asked us if our meal was alright but proceeded to ask everyone else. wont be back extremely disappointed

the names changed CAFE BELLA firstly we should of walked straight a way the customers were looking glum. then we realised most were waiting a long time for meals. we sat down to order and found that the waiter told us every thing was off the menu except over priced fish and chips he hassled us to order quickly and ran around at high speed .after getting our food there was a hurry get our money and leave..he cleared the table whilst we were still drinking our teas and coffee. he was also very rude to other customers beacause they wanted to see a menu ..A WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS >>>>STAY AWAY>>>>

This is a delightful guesthouse for big group trips. Chloe and Lydia were very helpful and welcoming. We were up for a milestone birthday celebration and enjoyed a Full Scottish Breakfast before a memorable lunch for 16 of us. The surrounding area is beautiful and despite battling Storm Babet we enjoyed the unspoilt scenery. The In. Is a short drive away from the world famous Gleneagles Golf Resort and we were warmly welcomed by all the locals in the area. Highly Recommended.

The restaurant is one we have visited reasonably often as it is local, friendly and has a lovely view. The menu has enough choice and is tasty enough. However on our last visit we were given an arrival time of 7.45 pm but when we sat down we were almost immediately asked for our orders with no time to read the menu or the wine list. We really didn't linger over studying the menu but she obviously wanted to get the order into the kitchen as fast as she could - 3 times she pressed us and it did feel very hurried. Study the wine list? No time .... opt for the house white because there wasn't time to look for anything else. I do understand that kitchens need to finish up but then perhaps make the last booking a little earlier to accommodate this?

Cute place, fabulous views, craft cocktails were also good... service though - sad face 😢😕 If no one is there, it's great! If they start getting busy, just go to the bar and order directly. Seriously. We'd been there for one round but then it got busier. They forgot our order completely. After 20 minutes, we ordered again. How do you forget twice and now it's about an hour. Meanwhile, the servers and two additional people behind the bar prioritized anyone who came up to the bar. At an hour, we canceled our order and left. Crazy... so go for the view. Have a drink. Go somewhere else. Sorry. Not a fan.

Went for lunch. Really warm welcome and just got ourselves a table as it was reasonably busy (it was a beautiful day). Great homemade soup and sandwiches and tea that wasn't wishy-washy. Smashing selection of cakes available. Have to hand it to the staff for the lovely atmosphere and to the site for the brilliant views! Will be back.
