The best restaurants serving Portuguese food in West Midlands

This came recommended by a friend so my sister and O visited for a birthday lunch. We had the set menu which was reasonable and very reasonable. The staff were delightful the restaurant lovely and food very tasty. We will definitely return

Food is good but over priced for chicken thighs. Restaurant was very cold when I went in January.

Usually very good...dipped a touch on all fronts this time but would still go back because it is,in all fairness, much better usually

Thank you to the Wednesbury team for a lovely evening. My Nan hasn’t been very well recently and today was the first day she decided to leave the house. I thought I’d treat her to her first Nando’s. The service was efficient, the food was excellent and the experience was made even better by the staff who treated us so well. My Nan has recently lost most of her sight and her hearing, the staff were very understanding, catering to our needs and their small acts of kindness made our day. I work in audiology and small things like this that allow people like my nan to join in and feel relaxed regardless of their health or disability, means the world. The restaurant is well lit with lots of natural day light and my nan found she could hear fairly well even though it’s a noisy environment. My nan would like me to share it was “the best chicken she’s had in a long time” “we’re definitely coming back”. 💗

The takeout is too slow. It took an hour and it’s not ready yet.

First time visiting Nando’s. Ordered a burger at 20:35 which was served at about 21:25. A free beer was offered as compensation. The waitress (with good attitude) took my name and contacts for a feedback after I asked but no one has contacted me since my visit a week ago.

Allen has been a great waiter, providing great service, he brought our food out with delight and was really friendly! 100% recommended, and the management team should be proud of Allen!

We often come to the Hanley Nando’s when we visit Hanley. The service is always nice and quick and the atmosphere is nice. Yesterday we were greeted by Andrew who was happy and smiley and even asked us if we had a preference on where we sat which I thought was a nice touch as we have never been asked that before. I had to go to the counter as I had a gift card and I was served by Abdul who was the most loveliest gentleman ever, he was happy and polite and I thought he was really really sweet. A great asset to the team and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

Always repeats a meal for all tastes. Nice juicy chicken enjoyable sides Great for basic family celebrations. The bottomless drinks are great to accompany the spicy sauces. Recommend to all age groups

I ordered the peri peri chips and the grilled chicken breast fillet in a pitta which had a garlic butter parsley sauce; in the pitta there were caramelized onions and grilled halloumi! I was very satisfied with the food!

Nice looking inside and busy as it’s the only place open in centre of West Bromwich at 8pm We got sitting pretty quick. Ordered on app. The food came in reasonable time . Half a chicken, fries, mac and cheese , side salad , halloumi and gravey. The side dishes were really small and as for the gravy which normally comes in little jug came in a very small bowl half full and we complained to the waitress who in all fairness bought another full fill small bowl . She seem to be the only one doing everything. I went to get cutlery and there’s no knives. Some of forks are dirty and the sink next to it to wash your hands smells foul. Overall not a pleasant visit
