Nando's - Birmingham, Broad Street in Birmingham

Very nice and convenient. Sometimes too busy. Need more comfortable chairs in here also. But food is good as always and staff are great.

It has been many years since I tried Nandos but after this experience I will come back again soon. The double chicken breast was perfectly cooked, nice and juicy. I also had the yellow rice and broccoli to top off this fast and healthy meal.

Excellent restaurant, it has become a good tradition for us to gather here at least once a week to discuss business with colleagues at work. Everything is always deliciously prepared, the atmosphere is great!

First time at Nandos and it was quite good

Poor service . The girl at the service was lost as hell. Ordered 3 items . She comes with one Forgets the rest After being reminded she gets the 2 nd and forgets the 3rd one . I mean seriously???? Wasted literally 30 mins in this process

Worst Nando’s Iv ever eaten at. The chicken had no flavour was hard and over cooked. Terrible. 40 pounds spent!!!!

Long wait and being ignored...service, walked up put plates on the table and just walked off...no forks available and had to wait 10 mins for cutlery! May as well be completely self service!!

We went to nandos to celebrate a birthday family meal. Six of us. Did not have to wait long too get a table. They said approx 20 mins for food but we got our food well within that time. Great atmosphere. Jade is very friendly and helpful thank you.

The takeout is too slow. It took an hour and it’s not ready yet.

Good branch to go to when its not busy

Takeaway, busy but order placed quickly and not too long a wait for the food, which was hot and tasty. No vinegar sachet to take away, not the first time this has happened and not just at this store, Nandos must have a National shortage of condiments and no knives and forks in the takeaway bag either, so I had to eat with fingers, not ideal.

All round deeply disappointment and enough to put you off of Nandos for good. Definitely not the vibe or the one. Don't even bother with nando's at this rate when things go wrong. Ablism online from nando's! Not safe or welcoming for people with hidden or seen disabilities. Dirty poor overall hygiene, dirty kitchen area with staff in dirty uniform touching their clothes while managing food. Not cleaning their hands. Yellow soft serve, when it's meant to be white clearly don't clean the machine. Taste was Vile, and gave me a belly ache after. Overstaffed that blocks your way when trying to navigate the restaurant. Wait time nearly 30 mins mins when you got staff waiting around talking doing nothing productive. Disrespectful manager in charge when asking for a refund Who is quite abrupt clearly nears retraining. Accessing the toilet? Don't because you might get yourself locked in or just nearly fall over a Hazard because they decide to put a chair outside the toilet when you tried to leave. Unwelcoming, you walk in and staff act like they are doing you a favour. Unaccessible and ablism customer service online I experienced because I'm disabled, disappointed is an understatement I had to explain this and justify my disability. When concerns are raised it's dismissive, abrupt and rude. Customer service in store and online the worst in the sector. It's a real shame as I loved Nandos but never again. Best to take your money else where your welcomed and valued. Don't bother complaining on the website they are just as appallingly bad in their customer service and unprofessionalism. When I raised these concerns online I had to justify my disability goes to show how poor their customer services and disrespect they show as a company. Don't bother raising concerns or ways to improve online or in-store as you'll be labelled and ostracised. Congratulations Nando's you've lost my custom that's for sure!

DUCU the restaurant manager was very nice and caring. They run out of Mediterranean salad but he created his own version which was much tastier than the Mediterranean one. Overall the staff and quality of food was very nice. Highly recommended

Nando's es una opción fácil cuando hay jóvenes quisquillosos en su grupo. Llegamos a media tarde en un domingo lluvioso, así que no estaba muy ocupado. Estábamos sentados rápidamente y nuestro anfitrión con problemas auditivos explicó pacientemente el sistema de pedidos para aquellos que no habían estado en un tiempo. Realmente fácil de ordenar, personalizar las opciones y pagar desde la aplicación y el personal pudo acomodar manualmente un requisito adicional. Doku the manager was incredible. He took care of our son and gave him colouring pens to keep him distracted while we ate. He also gave him ice cream and cucumber cuts. All of the staff were amazing and so was the food.

I was really hungry and Nando’s is my favourite ❤️ but eating. Half my chicken couldn’t be bothred to get up and complain they gave me cold chicken ! They checked back late! The guy with the long beard apologised I can take it back and warm it! I was like what!!! Iv eaten my chicken half of it! And u want to warm it!!! Even the other manager seemed he didn’t want to be there he was really sad! Looked miserable 😭 at least smile 😊 my chips were nice 👍 but would of liked my meal to be nice very disappointing with Nando’s

Quality of food seemed bad compared to normal

Visité con 11 de mis colegas y nos dieron la bienvenida y nos sentamos rápidamente. Todo el personal que conocimos fue amable y acogedor. Nuestro grupo son predominantemente usuarios sordos de BSL y el personal fue genial usando gestos y señalando para ayudar con los pedidos. Dan (Manager) se destacó particularmente y aplicó un descuento en todos los pedidos, honrando a uno de los miembros de la tarjeta de luz azul del personal. ¡Fantástico! Mi segunda visita a un Nando’s - mi primera visita estaba un poco agobiado, pero hoy me sentí diferente! Entiendo el bombo 😆 nuestras comidas eran tan sabrosas. Después de nuestras comidas tuvimos una reunión del equipo de horas que de nuevo el personal no tuvo ningún problema. Gran tarde y volveremos para más reuniones de equipo y buena comida.

Fantástico servicio de su restaurante en grand central ayer. Jev es un mérito absoluto para ustedes en un día que solo puedo imaginar que fue un servicio muy ocupado para todos ellos. Estaba muy atento cuando mi esposa 'olvidó' mi orden!

Terrible service, incorrect order given and rude staff. Missed an it essential item from my order and ruined my whole meal. The manager who was on shift tonight at 7:30pm on the 25th of November 2024 was extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful over the phone. He hung up on me mid-sentence. Avoid at all cost! What a disgrace for the Nandos brand, as a business owner I find the staff service and behaviour embarrassing.

Dissapointed with my recent Nando’s visit on Broad Street. My friend and I ordered couple minutes apart. Her food arrived first and by the time my meal came, she was already finished! I would instead recommend the West Bromwich or Castlegate branch. Will be my first and last time at Broad Street Nando’s.

Food was cold, even the center was barely warm, despite coming out quite quickly. One of the drinking glasses was cracked, told staff but they didn't seem surprised or concerned.

One of my preferred establishments in Birmingham and the highest-rated Nando's restaurant in the West Midlands region. I have consistently enjoyed visiting this establishment due to the exceptional quality, taste, and flavor of their chicken dishes. During my recent visit, I opted to try their salad bowl. Regrettably, I discovered a strand of hair in my meal. Upon raising concerns regarding hygiene standards, I anticipated and requested that the dish be replaced and a new one prepared. However, the staff merely removed the hair and appeared to have added more rice to the bowl. Understandably, this incident left me feeling uneasy and unable to fully enjoy my meal.

We visited this Nandos for dinner after driving in from London. We went in around 8 pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy, even the waiting area was full. We were asked if we can wait for 15 minutes and our name was taken down. We did get a table after 15 minutes. Food: I ordered a half chicken platter with two sides. My wife ordered the butterfly chicken. My chicken was dry, it seemed like it was cooked in a hurry. The mash was also not very creamy. Service: This is where this place is different. The gentleman who ushered us in was wonderful. He was polite, warm and even found the time to take a baby on his lap. The waiters were working very hard and was pretty attentive.

Hi I would just like to give some feedback. I went to nandos in Birmingham broad street today and was so impressed. Obviously the food was superb as always but I was even more impressed with the service. The manager Dan served me who was very friendly and there is also another lady manager today too who again was just really nice. Currently nandos broad st are employing a lovely gentleman who has a hearing impairment . I notice she was so kind when speaking to her colleague. She communicated very well with him so that he was able to follow her instructions clearly as were her colleagues Dan and Danny. The team at nandos broad st defos need some recognition this is not the first time I have interacted with these three managers and they are amazing every time I go so thank you. Your service made my meal 10000 times better and your kindness does not only extend to your customers but your colleagues too. The gentleman with the hearing impairment was amazing too as he helped my kids get their ice cream they all really go the extra mile . Thank you

I went to the Birmingham branch near the Five Guys Restaurant. I am not good at English. I was greeted by the employee Jade. I think her name was Jade. She was very cooperative with me and was using the translator on the mobile phone to know what to say to her. Thank you. Thank you for your cooperation and service ♥️

Came in on a busy Sunday night but service was so fast and great food. The waiter took care of us incredibly well. All the staff were happy and joking with us even with how busy it was! Really lovely, highly recommend!

We ordered on deliveroo, we paid extra for priority delivery but it still managed to take over an hour - not acceptable! then when the food arrived we were missing 3 dishes therefore my two friends were unable to eat dinner after not having food all day. i am disappointed and appalled by my experience with nando’s today. after contacting deliveroo we were only refunded 26£ of our 91£ order although this is appreciated this doesn’t compensate for the lack of food. i will not be ordering nando’s on deliveroo ever again. we are not happy.

Popped into Nandos with my large extended family. Most unfriendly manager on God’s green earth. Short reddish hair with checked shirt. No name badge (surprise surprise). She was very unpleasant and treated us like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. She was short with the kids and downright rude to the adults. Maybe she simply didn’t like the colour of our money 🤷🏾‍♀️ The rest of the staff were pleasant enough but she ruined the whole experience single-handedly. Love Nandos but won’t be coming here again.

Everytime I go to nandos staff go above and beyond as I have an allergy. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was so nice.Thank you to the team for going above and beyond.I will definitely be coming back soon 😀

Waited half an hour for our food to take out as we were told to sit down when we came in but once we received our food it was luke warm, the chips were cold and the sweetcorn was burned. The chicken was nice but were disappointed to wait so long and not enjoy much of our food.

Today was the second time I’ve visited recently and they have run out of chicken thighs. We were there an hour and a half before closing and they still didn’t have enough. Nandos either needs to be better prepared or close earlier. Very disappointing this time as I was seconds away from ordering it the table only for it to be removed from the basket.

Food was mainly good. Just a bit disappointed with the service. The tall manager in the blue shirt with the baseball has no skills in customer service. Brought over bottles over water with no glasses. I had to get up and ask for glasses. He didn't even say anything, just silently handed me the glasses and then looked away. I didn't get butter with my corn on cob, when I asked about it I was given a cold one.

Duku was exceptional. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He was very pleasant and approachable and friendly. Shout out to the chefs, kitchen staff and the amazing and wonderful floor staff!

Fairly quiet and well staffed however took over 20 minutes to receive drinks, food was lukewarm, chicken bones left under the table and we were not checked on once

We came in at a relatively quiet time and the food was good and came in at a quick time. I wanted to write this review as one server in particular made this experience go above and beyond for us. Daylam was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed and knew what was needed without asking for it thank you!

Went in to make an order for take out - quarter chicken with two sides. Service was quick but when I was handed my food I noticed the bag was very light. I opened the box of chips and it was barely half full. I asked if this was normal and the staff member on duty took it to the kitchen to have it filled. When I got home I realized the quarter chicken was just a small chicken leg, not a real quarter chicken, as this would at least include a wing too. Conclusion, it tasted nice but the portions are too small (practically a child's meal if you consider what I was originally given) and it's in no way worth almost 12£ for a take away meal.

Usually the food is good, however a couple of weeks ago it was the most tasteless chicken I have ever eaten at nandos, we didn't have time to get it changed as had a movie booked. However the manager did say to say next time.

Asked for lemon and herb chicken wings platter the chips were ok the chicken wings were dry and very bland could not eat them sat for an hour not one person came to see if we were ok if the food was ok it's like we were invisible while the staff stood around chatting and laughing serving everyone else I was sat with my disabled child the service was very poor the last time I came in it was not like this the staff on today was not friendly so I complained someone came to my table and asked what was the problem he turned round and said you should of gone to the counter and sorted it no some one should of come to me at least after my food was served to see If the food was ok I sat for a whole hour no one asked,, my sons disabled so no I'm not leaving him alone at the table plus I suffer from anxiety It took alot for me to take him out for a treat today. And don't insult me by a message back saying your sorry this happened anda you will let the manager at nandos know I already told him and he was rude no manners or how to deal with customers foods gone down hill here never even offered me a refund don't recommend eating here if you don't want to waste your money then again who knows maybe he was racist or the fact my child had downs

If you want to eat warm food don’t come to Nando’s because apparently it’s not possible to get hot food at Nando’s according to the waiter who was standing next to my table and shouting the loaded fries are warm when they were absolutely cold terrible service really is a joke of a establishment

The Manager is an angry, unprofessional person, and by the way, when I tried to talk to him about it he barely gave me a chance to discuss it and rudely told me to get out of his damn restaurant!

The shop was relatively empty yet it took roughly 25 minutes to receive our food and it was the worst Nando’s food I have ever eaten. As you can see they thought it was okay to serve this it’s pure black like don’t you look at that and say maybe we should make it again? The food was lukewarm which makes it even worse because why did we wait that long to receive the food then? The grilled butterfly chicken was only cooked on one side which they burnt to a crisp and it was extremely dry. We would definitely be avoiding coming to this specific Nando’s.

Been here after a very long time and must admit, was pleasantly surprised!! Place still buzzing and managers were pleasant enough. Girl on the till looked alittle lost and uninterested when she was taking my order. She was literally looking around elsewhere whilst speaking to me, was alittle annoyed but put it down to lack of life experience and general people skills/manners, luckily it didn't affect the chicken being cooked to perfection! 😄😄.. Keep up the good work peeps! (Oh, and plz train your staff to dk better on the tills)

The food as usual in any other Nandos was amazing, but the service was average as the time taken to get a seat in a fairly empty restaurant seemed to be more than required.

The service was exceptional we come to this Nando’s all the time and we always feel very welcomed. Today we were lucky and received a free drink and a free side from Duco. Thanks so much.

Great service every time - even when it's busy, the staff are very clearly doing their best to be as efficient as possible to get everyone a seat and get their food ready. The interior is nice and spacious and rarely feels cramped no matter where you end up sitting. The food is always fantastic (plenty of halal options) - have only dropped a star as sometimes the chicken is a little bit cold by the time it gets to us, and it's happened a few times, but besides that it's great and would recommend 👍

I’ve honestly never had service as good as this in a chain. The staff were so friendly and happy to help. The manager in particular was so accommodating even though all of us weren’t planning on eating food - just a great vibe for a classic Nando’s!

Absolutely appalling customer service. Sat down for 2 minutes and the waiter spills cleaning products all over me. He didn’t have the audacity to apologise and further claims i must leave due to my outburst. Nando’s needs to invest in training their staff members.

Usually, I have a good time eating here.However, disappointingly I recently came here to eat again expecting the same good quality of food only to receive my coleslaw to taste sour and gone off. Basically inedible to eat without thinking I would be sick if I attempted to finish it. I also had chicken that was dry and crumbling. The food and service seemed rushed as they wanted me and my company at the time out so no care was put into the food . I requested for a refund and customer service did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue, horrible.

What a star! The name on the receipt was Danny, but honestly the team were working hard. A very busy Tuesday, I arrived 10 mins early for my order. Totally fine, I was just keen for some good food. Fairly standard Nando's. Very busy being on Broad Street. Food was standard but still tasted good. Was a little disappointed with the portion size and lack of Peri-Salt. Always a big fan of Nando's though.

Absolutely top-notch service! We rocked up at the restaurant pretty late due to our delayed flight home, but luckily Nando’s was still kicking. The staff were proper considerate, offering us drinks when our bottomless glasses didn’t rock up straight after we ordered our nosh. Food was spot on as usual, making it our definite go-to joint near home.

Really happy with our visit to this branch whilst visiting Birmingham. Staff were absolutely fantastic and really good with the kids. Food was brought out pretty quickly and was spot on. Only let down by the fact the water machine and frozen yogurt machine were not working. Restaurant is kept clean and tidy and staff were attentive throughout the visit.

You know what you're getting at a Nandos, it would have been a 5 but the chips were not as hot as they could have been.

The food was quite good, the garlic bread needs to be toasted a bit tho.
