It took a while for the food coming last time but overall it’s nice and enjoyable

Attended Saturday evening, and although it was busy, we were seated straight away and greeted by Leo, who was so friendly and welcoming. Really chatty, didn't just show us to our seats and leave us with our menus like a lot of staff do, but made the effort to talk to us briefly and make us smile. Food was lovely as always. My only criticism is that the starters are brought out with the mains, so food will go a bit cold by the time you get to the main.

We arrived here 15 minutes before closing but still were provided with great service and at no time did we feel under pressure to leave or hurry up - even when we were the last there. We were advised what was no longer on the menu, and as I am gluten intolerant, great care was made in non cross-contamination. Our food was as delicious as always, the chicken really moist and tasty coleslaw for me. Thank you again for great service with a smile and friendly chat. We were in Birmingham for the weekend and this got an outstanding for friendliness and chat.

The people made this experience good but the food what has happened Nando’s fry chicken burnt chicken wings no flavour just dry overcooked. Tomato salad please start using tomatoes that are not mush and have their roots removed. Toilet horrible piss on toilet seat no paper access, poo in one toilet. Really disgusting and disappointed. Thank god for your staff

My first time at nando's was incredible yesterday, Grace was our server and helped me choose what I wanted with amazing service. She explained the menu and made our time a lovely experience. The food was amazing also. We will definitely be returning from how Grace made us feel so welcome and the taste of the food.

Enjoyed my experience at this Nando's :) all the staff were very polite, I had an issue with ordering with the QR code as it took my money out but didn't go through, so I had to order at the till and the staff member gave me a discount and a free drink for it, will come again to this Nandos

Out of all the Nando’s I’ve been to this is one is definitely at the bottom of my list. Rubbery butterfly chicken, was difficult to cut. Chips were stale 100%, only thing decent was the mash. Drinks were not nice either especially since NO STRAWS, I’m not touching them glasses with my mouth. I think their drinks machine needs cleaning. I had to go Tesco and get a straw. Barely any sauces available, no tissues. Absolutely disappointing.

The staff were really welcoming, the service was super quick and the food was delicious. I could not fault it and we will definitely be back!

Myself and My wife came here to grab something to eat before going back home as we were celebrating her birthday. We were served by Grace, which made us feel welcomed and very relaxed. Grace was amazing and she even sorted out a gift for my wife, Thank you very much Grace!

Leo was wonderful, we arrived at a busy time and he continuously kept us updated on when a table would be available. He was attentive and ensured we had a wonderful experience and this isn’t the first time being having Leo as our host

Initially scored as a 4/5 and then thought about why, it was my choice to order at my table, and do you know, everything was just as I'd expect from Nando's Great speed of service, from a very pleasant team, all acknowledging customers and interacting, 2 of whom spoke to me, checked in, made sure all was good. And it was, food quality, spot on, speed of service, spot on, value for money, I'm happy with the pricing. Tatenda and her manager, Ayanna were both really pleasant and always attentive, not always the case in my experience of Nando's, so hats off to the team in The Bullring, great job 👍🏅

Yesterday I came to eat in for lunch and I was immediately greeted as I came through the door by a very enthusiastic guy in a red shirt I think he said his name was Josh. I’ve eaten here many times and i always have a good experience. The Staff are always helpful and the managers help them a lot when it comes to clearing the tables. The manager in the grey shirt was running back and forth cleaning tables with him still with a smile on her face. The food was perfect as usual I was offered the new Saka sauce at my last visit last weekend and was convinced to give it a try. It was very good. I hope you keep it on the menu. Thank you. Will be back again soon.

Giving Nandos Grand Central all 5 stars the staff were so great at the job, I went last Saturday to order a takeaway. Very polite welcoming also the lady when i was ordering gave me details about the Nandos card she really helpful explaining me about it. 😁

I only ever go to Nando’s when a friend chooses the venue. I don’t understand why you pay restaurant prices for self service and basic chicken and chips. The only thing you don’t do as a customer is cook the food and clean the restaurant…. although maybe we should!

Food was great and service was super fast. Leo was absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. The nandos itself is tidy and clean, well looked after. Great experience overall!

After dining at Nandos 29/03/2024 with my partner it was bad from the get go when my partner received the wrong order, she ordered a buffalo chicken burger and received a fillet of chicken. We questioned the order mistake so not to be overcharged for what we were given. Next as my plate of pale food was placed in front of me with pale chips and a sprinkle of peri peri little did I realise what was to come. The chicken wings were very moist and I ate only two "Thankfully" the rest was boxed up for us to eat the following day. 5 minutes after leaving we just reached colmore row when my stomach began to feel on fire, thinking it was just the spices but at the same time not being able to travel home, I had to find the nearest bathroom. On public transport I became extremely unwell and literally collapsed at the bus doors, I vomited on the bus and continued to do so until 2 am. Feeling like the grim reaper was in the door way the sickness and diarrhea was overwhelming with the feeling of being plunged in an ice cold bath due to my extremely high temperature. The absolute embarrassment and shame of taking so ill on public transport, the having to sit on the toilet with a bucket Infront of me was the worst experience of my life. When I look back at the whole situation of the unkempt ladies the pale presenting food and how wet the meat of the chicken wings were were all signs of what was to come. "Will you be informing your staff of this issue to make sure it doesn't happen again" this is far from over as I also have a heart condition which was seriously compromised and this will be taken further as we have the food box which is being tested by the food stands agency. My leaving this review on here is only just the beginning and the first of any reports being made as a legal team will be dealing with this case. Came for lunch today was greeted and looked after by Leo, whom was so friendly and welcoming along with his colleagues whom was all also very welcoming. Service was spot on and I was definitely impressed with my lovely meal 😊 10/10 all round so will definitely be returning.

Food was plain and overpriced, chips were boring, felt like cafeteria food and this is me giving nandos another try. The worst thing of all was the state of the menus, gross, not been changed or cleaned had old sticky food over it was about to walk out just from that.

Small portions, mild spices are to spicy for kids! Not tasty over all.

First time at this particular Nandos restaurant. Great food as always. The upstairs part of the restaurant was a very nice place to sit and eat, away from the busyness of grand central. Woman on the door was a little rude and very slow to seat us. There were several tables free downstairs and then half the tables upstairs were free, so not sure why we were made to wait so long? Food took half hour to come out and one order was incorrect (correct order brought out just over 5mins later). Normally food at nandos is served quick! Maybe there had less kitchen staff on today so that’s why they were seating less people and food took longer? If that was the case they could have just told customers so we could be more understanding.

The food was mid. You could tell it was ready made and just heated it up. I don’t recommend the “creamy” mash, it was hard and cold. Also, the portions were small for the price. Atmosphere was ok but I suppose it’s what you expect for a Nando’s in the middle of Birmingham. However on the other hand, the service was quick and helpful but that’s probably because all they did was heat up the food that they bought from Tesco.

Good food hot warm lovely came out quick even tho they was busy 10/10 service and atmosphere everything came out on time and wasn’t waiting long as we was only there put our order in it came straight out and they was really busy witch was ideal you can’t beat the chicken at Nando’s price wise it’s not too bad but it’s not a every week thing it’s probably better getting the platter you get more for ya money I’d say over all perfect just gets a bit cramped in there. 👍

We broke our Nando’s cherry here on Wednesday first time using this chain our grandson loves it so we gave it a shot very pleasantly surprised we couldn’t get the app to work so our survey took our order and vey soon our food arrived hot and tasty the server came over checked if all was ok it was better than expected, the server was exceptional and deserves praise so asked for the supervisor and gave her a thanks for employing our server as she really topped off our experience the servers name my wife told me was Denim, we shall return

First time ever at Nandos (I'm 71) Bit daunted by the app ordering but the lovely server Denim was so good to us and helped us . Food was really good and we will certainly be back. Thank you Denim for making it such a good experience.

Not great for people who have difficulty with mobility.. or have a buggy /pushchair. We went.. I use a stick and struggle with mobility.. No down stairs.toilets.. Left wasn't working.. and told.only way to use toilet is up x 2 flight of stairs. I really struggled.. Staff didn't really seem to see an issues with not having toilets available for people who can't use stairs.. No space downstairs to put wheelchair.. or child's buggy..... Lot of items on menus weren't available... We emailed nando's . But had no formal reply. Which is disappointing. Wouldn't go back to this one.

Minced peas, rainbow slaw and the chicken with BBQ Chipotle sauce was excellent. The other chicken with garlic was a little bit dry. Service is hard to rate, you order via App/online so you don't interact that much.

I love Nandos but this branch is terrible. 1. We were a group of 2 went there around 3 pm, there were a few empty tables inside, two staff standing at the door chatting and glancing at us, me and friend stood outside for more than 10 min, finally one of them came and took us to the table that has been empty the whole time. 2. There were two groups came later than us and ordered the same food, but they got their food and drinks really fast, we waited more than 20 min for our food, and no one even brought our bottomless drink cup. 3. I always order sunset burger it’s really good in other nandos, it’s juicy tender flavorful. But the one I got from here was really dry and hard, I thought it was chicken breast at first, and when I ate it all I could taste was burnt food, I opened the burger and flipped it and saw the other side was completely burnt. Extremely disappointed, I recommend other nandos in Birmingham.

Staff were kind enough to seat a group of 10 of us over 3 tables. Two of the tables had food within 15 minutes, but third table had to wait 40 minutes. Their food sat under lamps for so long that it was cold and the butter packets were completely melted. The food could clearly be seen under the lamps for at least 15 minutes. The manager picked up plates only to put them back down again. There appeared to be no wait staff around, only the kitchen staff working away and the manager who did not step in to help as the dishes ready to be served stacked up. It was only after asking how long the food would be that this was then brought out by the manager. Such a shame as the kitchen worked so hard and the food would have been lovely if it had been brought out before it was cold.

Excellent customer service for those who have high standards. The food Is great but it would be wonderful if there was halal meat options.

Staff are very rude, manager is flippant and rude too. Asked specifically for a leg piece with my 1/4 chicken meal. Waitress misheard me and out through breast piece. Then she said couldn’t do anything. Manager came ans spoke to her and she came back and said “my manager said just leave it” then I disputed and when they finally gave me my leg piece is was black and burnt on one side with charcoal and very bitter. Worse nandos in Birmingham worst staff

Kate the Manager was very attentive to me and my families needs and supported us. This is a great place to eat as its close to station. I recommend this Nandos as the service was great. Thank you once again Kate.

Me and my boyfriend go to this franchise every few weeks and we have never had a bad experience. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but the staff and the food is top tier. Olivia is the best waitress, we’ve had her serve us around 2 times and she is amazing and makes us feel so welcome. We usually order the beanie wrap and pitta and it’s always been 10/10. Great food for vegetarians.

Staff were welcoming, it was clean and tidy, food was tasty and plenty of sauces were available for the table. We were told to order via QR code at the table, would have preferred to have dealt with an actual person but to be fair the process was fairly easy and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

The customer service here is great. Staff were ALL so friendly. Went out of their way to make it a comfortable experience for us. The atmosphere was relaxing, lights and the music choice was good too. If I feel like having a “cheeky Nando’s” again I’ll go back here. Prices were decent too, if you get a set meal for sharing, there’s more than enough and it comes out cheaper too 👌

We visited Birmingham central on Friday lunchtime, not having a Nandos in the whole of Cornwall it had to be a must do The food was absolutely lovely, but the best thing about this Nandos was the staff! A young team, hard working, they have a laugh and really looked like they were enjoying working! Unlike many other restaurants we have been to who just seem to ‘go through the motions’ The managers and staff were brilliant, looked like an all girl team as well! Not a man in sight! Burger burn was burnt almost charred which is not the usual for Nandos and chicken was so dry. Normally fast service but the guy was just sitting around and laughing with coworkers so I assume that’s why our food wasn’t good as we waited quite a while on a non busy day.

My sister and I enjoyed our first ever meal here on Saturday. The Service we received from the extremely attentive Dani and Sophie was excellent - thank you both for ensuring our dining experience was memorable. The suggestions offered to menu choices were taken on board, our food arrived and was soon devoured! We will return to this restaurant again very soon and highly recommend.

After a negative experience at Nando’s New Street we came to Grand Central and were greeted by the manager Tom. Tom and the team were AMAZING!

After speaking to such a rude manger over at the Nando’s on new street, we came to This Nando’s at central and got greeted with the warmest welcome from Tom! Even gave us a round of olives :) Tom should be a manger at new street or at least sort the staff out! Anyways, give Tom a pay rise!! Thanks Tom :)

Great service, Tom made it a wonderful experience and was extremely accommodating. Complete polar opposite of how our group was treated by the manager of new street, Tom should be appointed this position as his replacement.

We came to the restaurant as a large group, after being turned away at another Nando’s branch. Tom was absolutely amazing! He moved tables around to accommodate us and gave us free snacks and drinks as an apology for our experience at the other store. Couldn’t recommend enough!!! Amazing service will definitely be back!

Staff are extremely rude, terrible miscommunication regarding a meal a specifically travelled to this franchise and received nothing but terrible service, cold food & staff with appalling attitude. I think it may have been the manager herself who dealt with us so abruptly not entirely sure. Avoid this branch at all costs.

When I went to Nandos the food was kind of dry and cold. One woman who was serving us was very disturbed and didn't look like she wanted to be there. So crowded and so many people were there.

One of the best experiences at Nando’s, an absolute joy to dine at this establishment. I’m sure some criticism would be great, but I would be putting myself through a challenge. Where do I start? I was politely greeted and escorted upstairs by Tom in a timely manner to Molly. Molly was just great, ushered me to my table, and even laid out my cutlery. She was informative in explaining how to navigate the online ordering system and gave her recommendations from the menu. After I had ordered, Nico in the kitchen wasted no time and hastily prepared my food while keeping quality control. When my order was ready, Molly produced to me my food in a polite hostess manner. As per usual, the food was to die for. Both Molly and Tom were polite enough to offer their services while I dined on my succulent chicken. After I had finished, I left Nando’s with kind goodbyes from the staff. 10/10 would surely love to come back again, definitely yeh best Nando’s I have been too so far.

Best of all the Nando's I have visited in Birmingham! The chef here should teach everyone else to make juicy, flavourful and tasty chicken at all the other places. The time they took to bring the platter took a bit of time as the sides took more time to get ready. We'd have at least liked the chicken first and the sides later. But it's a minor point. I can't wait to visit this place yet again and have more of that yummy chicken!

Surprisingly chilled for being situated in the Grand Central station. However the quality of food across all Nandos is quite shocking now, the portions feel tiny the food does not come hot and the sauce it's such a mismatch whatever this red stuff that is on there now tastes weird. The restaurant is also primed for huge waves of people and I've witnessed so many people coming for food only to be turned away because they close early! This is the Grand Central station and it should be open untill midnight at the least! You've definitely lost around 9 people since I've been eating and the manager or staff got frustrated going back to the door all the time so he locked it then people just stood outside and waited. The few people inside who wanted to leave couldn't get out, as I'm writing this review there's another three people wanting to come and eat! I also not a fan of this QR code on the table that you have to use to scan. Stressful and unnecessary. Maybe it's Brexit maybe it's Corona maybe it's inflation but the portion of food I received is a kid's meal.

Went today around 1 pm. They were busy ofc. My order cc amen later than usual and they were serving orders to people that came after me. When I finally got my order, it wasn't fresh. It was reheated chicken. Love Nando's but this was really disappointing. Might consider other options for lunch from now on.
