Nando's in Solihull

The food was bland cold & very rubbery. Extremely disappointed.

Gotta be honest I've never had a bad Nando's...possibly the most consistent chain going ..I suppose its a simple formula of healthy food (really) & add a few spices/sauces etc plus the waitress was superb went over & above tbh...well done

This was our first time in this branch, the food was beautiful and was served in good time. We were served by a lovely lady called Fatima, she was friendly, helpful and very pleasant. We would definitely recommend eating here. Also, the Saka sauce is a must to try!

Just a nandos service was good and foos was fast

I went to this Nando’s yesterday before going to the cinema and had a terrible experience. Staff were condescending and rude. And our needs were completely ignored. We were made to feel very unwelcome. The best way to describe the way we were treated would be apathy at very best. The food to their credit was good but It was hard to enjoy while watching the staff whisper and smirk looking in our direction as if I were an imbecile for not knowing I had to go up and order. Overall I would only recommend you go here if you enjoy being treated like an unwelcome stain on a white carpet.

I used my card to pay for my meal and I didn’t work I tried again and again and it wouldn’t work but thanks to one of the staff Alfie he payed for my meal

Was all good ,unable to eat all so took it home .

Tasty grilled peri chicken. However spicy rice was on the cold side and turned a bit hard to chew.

Service was good at meet and greet. Got taken to a table of our choice and seated. We placed the order on the app which was fine and food came out fine. I did however forget to order a drink. So I went over to the till and 5 members of staff literally just walked pasted me without any acknowledgement, including the manager Dan. Dan was behind the till for the duration of me waiting. 10-15 minutes later, the lady who greeted us and sat us down helped as she seen I waiting. She’s apologised for wait. Also, at no point did anyone come over to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. The people at the table next to us came after us and were attended to and got asked if everything was ok and if they needed anything else. The last 4-5 times we have been to this branch we have had a similar experience which is shocking. For me and my family, we will not go back as the service from McDonald’s is better.

Had lunch with work mates. Self service on app was good. Food delivered quickly, but did have to prompt staff as they'd forgot my drink.

I visited Solihull Nando’s recently with my family. My grandson wanted to have a burger but isn’t able to eat chicken so opted for the veggie patty. I asked if he could have it in a burger to which I was told he couldn’t. I asked to speak to the manager to see if I could separately buy a bun or some bread to go with his meal and was told this was not possible. How utterly ridiculous that they cannot let me buy a separate piece of bread for a little boy so he can have a burger! On top of this we were sat at foam seats that had huge chunks ripped out of them. Nando’s - do better. You’ve lost my service.

Nandos is normally my favourite restaurant and go regularly to other locations so my boyfriend and I decided to go to this one as we’d just been shopping and ordered what we normally have. The garlic bread was like a rock and I could bang it against a table how hard it was and the chicken on both our dishes was very dry and my boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning. We did tell the manager and are waiting on an email for some sort of compensation as it really ruined our night.

Myself and my partner eat at nandos quite often, unfortunately this time the food was not as good as usual.

Great food but had the worst service! Atmosphere was so horrible. Served by David. We asked if they took blue light card and the response was disgusting. After paying for our food iv never seen someone so abrupt and so unwelcoming. We felt like trash as we paid. Never been here before he threw the cups at us and I asked where we filled them and the response was 'over there'. Never go there again waste of time and money ! Shame cooks was good. Very quick service. But watch out! David was always watching you eat to see if your done... (don't bother getting refillable drinks no time for them)

Food was yummy but chicken was undercooked, service was average and the atmosphere was not anything to write home about but was not bad.

Went to this restaurant at Solihull before going to the cinema I had a sunset burger, chips and garlic bread the chips were lukewarm garlic bread was like leather could Ardley bite through it and the chicken was overcooked and the skin was burnt not surprising really as the cooks were all extremely young and I wouldn't be surprised if they had hygiene certificates

Average food 🙂Nice customer service The waitress welcoming us was really lovely. Even though the order took a long time to arrive, still it’s in my acceptable range. Halloumi cheese slices were so good and I wish I could have some more😛it’s like eating a super cheesy crust of the pizza 🍕 Ordered a whole chicken platter but the chicken was not moist enough, quite dry actually as they were pre-cooked I presume. The sauces saved the day and I highly recommend trying peri peri with garlic or wild herb, not too spicy but super flavoursome.

Really friendly staff. Very helpful with allergies and just friendly in general. Good atmosphere.

Very disappointing, ordered butterfly chicken burger, the chicken was dry, the bun was too hard to chew. It really wasn’t worth the money. The toilets were also unclean.

Had the butterfly burger, the bun was too hard and I struggled to cut it with the knife, also the chicken was so dry, totally disappointed and a waste of money, wish I’d gone somewhere else to eat.

Best Nando’s, good atmosphere and great food! Dan really looked after us and attended to our needs! Excellent customer service and we will definitely be returning! 😁

As usual Nando's always serves lovely food. My order literary took no more than 10 minutes. By the time I got my drink, cutlery, sauces and sat down, my order was served. Great atmosphere.

We had to go on a 25-minute waiting list as it was busy, but it worked to time. Kiitchen was really busy but efficient, and quality was excellent.

Probably my favourite 'fast food' restaurant, you know exactly what you're getting and it's one of the healthier restaurants around. You can't go wrong with a classic half chicken or the Fino Pitta. The spiced grains are one of my favourite healthier sides too. Make sure you pickup a pastel di nata (Naughty Nata) after your meal!

Nice and tidy, we didn't waited at all to get a table, the food came a bit late but was fine. There is a baby changing toilet which was good and clean

Most ridiculous reason given to date.... saturday night... visit to the local nandos in touchwood... at least at 60% capacity... people waiting. We are told that a table for 2 will be at least 30mins, even with pointing out all the spare tables. The reason.... because the manager has asked us to slow it down.... the restaurant looks like it has full staff to cope... yet we are told to wait 30mins for a table...which they have loads of empty. What is the business model here...

Unfortunately the food was not great, the chicken was over cooked making the chicken very dry, the rainbowslaw was really dry too. Overall wasn't best please.

They certainly know how to cook a chicken to perfection. Service is second to none and with vouchers it's excellent value for money.

Unbelievable . Stood at the door for approx 4minutes totally ignored by all employees. Lauren the manager was packing what looked like collections/takeaways and totally ignored us with not acknowledgement or basic customer service by saying , hi guys he with you in a moment. When asked to speak to the manager she said. It’s me. I said ok well I’m Not happy to be ignored. She shrugged her shoulders and said ‘we are short staffed’ and also ‘you can see I’m busy’ , I’ve never been so shocked in a response as that. While this conversation continued. The couple behind us walked of to Jamaya opposite. The other couple asked my wife for a recommendation and she recommended slug and lettace. 5 covers lost due to being ignored and poor attitude. Will also be taking further contacting Nando’s.

Very busy found short staffed concentrating more on deliveries and collect that people dining in. They had run out of lemonade only soft drinks was coke cola original or diet. No other option. Arrive 5.30pm quality of food not as good I'm sorry.

DREADFUL.... 2ND WORST Nandos I used... Unhelpful and a bit rude.... But then if you hire children as your staff then what do you expect?

Nice meal and Taddy was so accommodating as we joked about how tiny the boneless platter was. She got me a second one and it was all better. The staff make the place.

Good place to have a peaceful dinner after 9pm. Food and staff are really good. Its inside touchwood mall and have easy access.

We ordered a frozen yogurt and payed for it. We went to desk to be told the machine had been broken for 2 days, and the assistant demanded to know who had served us which we thought was most unprofessional. There was no apology just a straight refund. The staff were rude and seemed to not be doing a lot.

Food was good. Some new things on the menu and overall I was happy.

Great food when we visited last week. Straight to a table for 4 of us. All the meals were correct and the staff were excellent. Nice friendly atmosphere too.

Good food service and atmosphere

Normally, I enjoy the experience of eating at Nando’s because their service is very good and prompt when getting a table as well as ordering food. But I noticed that my food was served to me very quickly. Although I enjoyed my meal and the food was delicious. But unfortunately, it left me feeling very nauseous with stomach aches afterwards and it felt like I had food poisoning. Thankfully, I’ve managed to recover from it the following day and had a lucky escape from not having food poisoning in the first place. However, I don’t want to run the risk of eating at any Nando’s just in case it does affect me like this again. I give this place 2 stars, only because the food was delicious at the time and the service was prompt otherwise.

Very helpful staff suffering like everyone else with working with Covid just takes that sparkle out of eating out.

This was our first visit to any Nando's and were guided through the ordering process by friends who we were dining with. They had sold out of wings so we had thighs which were cooked well. The peri-peri chips we okay and the rainbow slaw good. The service was fine. Would I dine here again, probably not.

This is the first time iv been to this Nandos post Covid. However apart from 2 staff members (the Maitre'd and another server) all other staff members where not very attentive and didnt give the normal Nandos "chilled" vibe. The food was fine. But I honestly believe service makes a major difference with customer experience

Very dissapointed. Arrived at 6.30pm yesterday evening ( Sunday) was greeted and asked if we'd like a table for two. Which we replied yes please. The woman then replied "oh we don't have any tables and anyway were closing at 7.15pm today" There was nothing online to say they were closing earlier. So we decided to go to Shirley nandos, but the same thing there. Under staffed so closing early. All in all very dissapointed

Disgusting attitude from the manager upon my visit this evening. It’s 7pm and told we can’t join the virtual queue as she’s closing it and has 5 tables waiting. I said I’m happy to wait an hour if need be as they close at 11pm but was told no. Terrible.

Consistently excellent I could not have found fault if I had tried

I went to walk into nandos and i was rudely greeted by an employee. Didn't even eat there because i was absolutely disgustes by the way i was spoken to! I won't be returning

wasn't the best Nando's I have been to, and food wasn't hot when received despite the long wait. not very impressed at all.

Soggy chips. Thighs were overcooked and dry. Double chicken burger was minimally cooked with a really dead, discoloured lettuce leaf on it. Neither had much sauce.

On my last visit I had the berry muffins and I am tempted to say they were the best I've ever had. Hopefully will be back again soon
