Zizzi in Solihull

I ordered a chicken dish, and it was a bit bland. I felt like it needed some cheese or sauce. The cocktails were nice. The service was good. However, when paying by card, they try to pressure you to give a large tip. It's a bit expensive for what it is.

Would have given five stars but being handed a book on whether I could eat gluten free was not very useful. It wasn't in any particular order and very small type. Staff friendly and courteous

Enjoyed my visit but a delightful lunch was let down by badly made tea. A pot of hot water and a teabag in a separate glass isnt the way to make tea. The teabag needs to be in a pot of boiling water. The water wasnt boiling. I could hold the pit in my hands. I did raise it and the manager agreed with me that she knows how to make tea. So why doesnt she tell the people out back making tea 'the American way'. Please sort it out

Very nice place. The food is very tasty and has great quality. The waitress, Patrycja was lovely (we came in a big group) and she sang happy birthday along with us since we were celebrating someone. She even treated the birthday girl to a sweet dessert. 10/10 recommend.

Sabíamos que era un día de evento en el NEC, así que intentamos reservar una mesa en línea con antelación, no hay opción de hacerlo, ya que todos los horarios de reserva estaban en gris. Había una gran cola de gente esperando una mesa en Zizzi’s. Nos unimos y nos dijeron que probablemente sería una espera de 35 minutos, sin embargo, nos sentamos alrededor de 10 minutos después de esto, que fue una agradable sorpresa. El servicio fue golpeado y fallado. Servidor masculino que trajo nuestras bebidas era más amable que nuestra principal servidor femenino, que se encontró como un poco abrupto a veces. Estaba claro que el personal estaba ocupado debido al volumen de clientes y probablemente estaban haciendo todo lo posible. Vale la pena ser miembro del Zillionaires Club, ya que puedes obtener beneficios (tuve un cóctel gratis en esta visita) y también ganar puntos para intercambiar por comida gratis. Las pizzas que todos tuvimos eran muy agradables. Personalmente prefiero la base clásica en lugar de la rústica, así que no estoy seguro de por qué se han deshecho de la primera. Las patatas fritas también eran muy buenas. El tamaño del pan de ajo compartido fue decepcionante - esto se ha reducido mucho y era una mala relación calidad-precio. Nadie volvió a la mesa después de nuestra comida para preguntar cómo estaba la comida, limpiar los platos o ver si queríamos postre. Nos sentamos por lo menos 15-20 minutos sin ser reconocidos. Al final, tuvimos que llamar a uno de los servidores y solo pedimos la factura. Si hubieran estado más atentos, podríamos haber gastado más dinero en comer postre. Me decepcionó que Zizzi no aceptara la tarjeta de descuento Blue Light, ya que al ser un día de evento, no estoy de acuerdo con esto. Probablemente volvería a este restaurante ya que la comida era buena, pero en un día más tranquilo ya que creo que sería una mejor experiencia para mí personalmente.

El personal es muy amable. La comida era increíble y mi hijo disfrutó viendo a los chefs cocinar las pizzas delante de nosotros. Nos gusta compartir y nos acomodaron con platos pequeños en lugar de comer de platos en medio de la mesa! Lo único que voy a decir es que al pagar la factura ... solo busco el precio en la parte inferior del recibo que creo que era el precio sin IVA y luego (después de haber pagado) mi esposa señaló que el total era de £ 52 (con IVA) no £ 48, así que no dejé una propina lo suficientemente grande como pensé que tenía. Me sentí fatal. Estuve allí el sábado 23 de febrero . . si alguno de los miembros del personal de zizis leyó esta crítica disculpas por la propina digna del servicio que fue fantástico.

Good service and food, it was busy and we had to wait quiet a while for coffees but otherwise ok. The one thing which was annoying was the background music was way too loud. The made it difficult to talk across the table. We don't mind some back ground music but but please turn it down!

My daughter and I attended here because she fancied pizza. I was on a mobility scooter so they put us on an outside table which was fine. We order starters of the garlic bomb and garlic bread with caramelised onions which were okish then we ordered a margarita pizza and my daughter a pepperoni and prosciutto pizza. They came out looking like they’d been rolled with a steam engine. They had no flavour at all and the toppings tasted really odd, even the cheese tasted different. The pizza was that bad we left more than half of both pizzas. The waitress tried to get us to take the rest home but we declined, which should have told her something. Later that night we both suffered from bad tummy ache. The meal with two drinks was just over £70. I wish I’d asked for a refund now as it was that bad. Please do not eat here. Awful food.

Tried to use our blue light discount. Told no blue light for groups over 8. Turns out they had added an extra meal to our order. After we told them there were only 8 of us it was decided that blue light can't be used on groups more than 6. Asked to split the bill between the two families. "Can't do that, have to tell us before". How do we know to do that? If you don't want to offer the discount then don't.

We went out on a team dinner. While the food was average, we had a great time thanks to Patricia our waitress who is very friendly, brutally honest and great at what she does. I don't do reviews, but she worked for it.

Meals seem to be sat waiting to go to tables a little too long maybe. Other than that we couldn't fault the service.

Excellent customer service. Patrica went above and beyond to make sure we was all having a great night. Will 100 percent be returning again soon.

Staff were not great. Front of house staff was taking a personal phone call and made us wait until he had finished and No pleasantries/ greeting. Food was not great compared to other Zizzi restaurants, burnt pizza. Not returning back there.
