Pavarotti in Solihull

Me and my patenter came in last Friday as a friend recommended. Did not disappoint I could honestly say it was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten! We will be retuning frequently. Waitress was also very polite and friendly ☺️

Went to our favourite Italian. Restaurant was almost packed at 9:30 pm. Still orders were taken swiftly, served our drinks correctly. Highly recommend tortellini spinacci and garlic bread with cheese and tomato and chilli. Service is always with a smile. Even the chefs with always say bye to the guests from their kitchen. Enough free car spaces at the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

After a fantastic dinner on our first visit 2 months ago, myself and 2 friends decided to go back. So, so pleased we did - what fantastic food they serve at this restaurant and so, so friendly. Dining out now, more so than ever, has become a luxury, and this restaurant gives you great food, is value for money and friendliest staff - nothing too much trouble and don't rush you....

Food was lovely, owner was really nice. Sea bass is highly recommend. Very very reasonable pricing. Goats cheese pasta was £11. Wine was very reasonably priced but not cheap tasting. Would definitely recommend!!

We booked close to Christmas for a meal party of 15 people and everyone of us was really impressed at the high standard of the food ,which is made to order in an open plan highly on show kitchen. The staff were welcoming and the service was pretty good. This place is very bright and does not have the intimate atmosphere of a traditional Italian but it is clean and is really hard to fault. We hope to be back soon. A bonus is that it is reasonably priced. The mushroom risotto was as good as I have ever had.

Pavararotti's has become my comfort Italian food local. The staff is straight from Italy, and the restaurant has the charm you would expect. I highly recommend for a family night out.

Anti pasta to share best in the area, my wife had Salmon the Source was delicious, My Calzone was great. Staff on the ball.

Lovely atmosphere, food and staff, only complaint is food a bit pricy especially the starters as quite small (nearly £5 for a few button mushrooms and some garlic butter over them didn’t even come with any bread on the side) . But over all a great place to go

Had a delivery. Everything arrived piping hot. Garlic bread with chilli was lovely and pasta portion kept me going for 2 nights. Will be back visiting the restaurant soon!

We have been coming to this authentic Italian restaurant for many years. We have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. During the restrictions we have enjoyed dinner here every week whenever it was allowed to open. As ever consistently great food combined with professional and friendly service. It is really good to see larger family groups are now able to sit together and celebrate special occasions. I’d like to say a big thank you to Franco and his team for being there for us.

The steak was good and not overpriced and the service was excellent from a great overworked young waitress who served the whole restaurant on her own, well done.But it was not exceptional with standard frozen chips, and undercooked vegetables Also the choice of desserts was disappointing which resulted in non being ordered

If you want a quick meal, where you get the menu, your order is taken as soon as you've chosen, the food comes fast and is cleared away fast ready for the next course and it's all over about an hour or so later, then go somewhere else.However, if you want a relaxed evening with time for conversation, with good wine and superb food, and polite waiters who are ready to help when required, then this could be the place for you.The fresh pasta and fish dishes in particular are excellent. Tables with glass tops and dried pasta inside are interesting to. And not put too close that you can eavesdrop your neighbours.

My Tagliatelli with Sea Bass and sun dried tomatoes was an amazing recipe, perfectly cooked, so enjoyed it. Bruschetta was generous and really tasty, piles of tomatoe. Such great food, really puts the pub-restaurants in the shade. It's a long time since we have been and I felt like I have been missing out. Friendly and professional staff. Parking is free if you input your Reg to their computer, so don't be put off by parking charges.

The food was average. The pate tasted like one you could buy at a supermarket. The steak was well cooked. It would have been nice to have some complimentary bread. Overall it was a very disappointing meal which had been organised to celebrate a birthday.

Couldn’t have been any better food and portion sizes where amazing and the deserts they made for my children and grandma who’s birthday it was was a great touch. If you want itilain food this is the place to go

Find this restaurant to have great food, well priced. The only down side is the location, as it is not the type of location you would choose to go on a night out. That said, if you want value, its a great restaurant.

Another fabulously tasty meal at Pavarotti’s. My very elderly parents are disabled and come here often. The wonderful staff are immensely helpful and caring. They even took a chair outside for my mother whilst she was waiting for the car to be brought around. As ever the food was exemplary. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

Lovely food and good service on a Saturday night considering it was so busy. We hadn’t booked but they managed the squeeze us in. Pasta was tasty and reasonable price for a meal for 3

My wife and I enjoyed an early meal. We started by sharing a portion of garlic bread which was made from a pizza base. To follow I had cannelloni and my wife a vegetarian pasta. Both portions were good and the food was okay. Service was friendly and the restaurant was busy.

Have been to Pavarotti several times and have always found the food and service to be amazing. The staff are so lovely and the food cannot be faulted. Would highly recommend.

We have eaten here for about 9 years now without ever finding fault. Consistently good food and wine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You really need to give it a try as once you do, you will be planning your next visit.

Pavarotti's is a airy but contempary restaurant, friendly staff, good menu and wine list.

Pavarotti’s in Solihull is a must to try. Bruno and all the staff are first class. Food is superb as is the service every time without fail. Menu has a wide and varied choice and your not left trolling through a thick and useless menu where several dishes look the same. Suggestion and favourite “ Rissotto Tortofnu” please go and try.

As this is my favourite restaurant, I will continue to visit. We are always sure of a warm welcome. The menu is wonderful with plenty of choice. The desserts are always so tempting and the wine is always nice.

We have been coming here for years and the food had always been good but the service has sometimes been a bit of a let down with staff being a bit miserable and not attentive.

Went for an impromptu mid-week meal out with my 2 Daughters and decided to try Pavorotti as never been there before...

Recently tried this place out while in the area for business. It was a Saturday evening, and there were a smattering of customers in to dine. Restaurant was nice enough, staff was pleasant, and the pleasant owner (an Italian) was present and greeting customers. The restaurant was fine...the food was a HUGE let down however. I ordered a beer, a tomato bruschetta, and chicken marsala. The beer was fine. The bruschetta was all but inedible...I ate the toasts and picked out some of the tomatoes...but it was dressed with too much vinegar and massive chunks of raw garlic that ruined the dish. it was also totally unseasoned. If there was some basil in the dish, I had a hard time picking it up...the chefs are not Italian and have no clue what they are doing when it comes to Italian food. There was absolutely no balance in this dish, which though not difficult to prepare, does require an understanding of the dish, and the premise that the chef cares just a bit. The chicken marsala didn't fare any better... unseasoned, and swimming in a sauce mix with not one tiny bit of marsala flavour to confirm it's namesake. Again, an easy dish that is not difficult to make delicious. The dish is described on the menu as "Breast of chicken cooked in Marsella wine, woodland mushrooms and chilli"... Who knows what Marsella wine is, but one can only assume it's supposed to be Marsala...and the rustic sounding "woodland" mushrooms were just a few hacked up plain button mushrooms...the ones sold everywhere...the sauce tasted like a powder base demi or similar... utterly flavourless dish. It's not hard to make chicken stock, and thus a chicken stock reduction...which along with some finely sliced mushrooms and the right amount of marsala wine, could easily make this dish a winner. Perhaps the most baffling part of this is that the owner is Italian. I've never met an Italian from Italy who didn't know their food. How this rubbish could get past the nose and palate of a true Italian is beyond me. He's either not tasting the food...is some way being held ransom by terrible chefs, or simply doesn't care. Having spoken with him, my bet is on one of the first two...time to crack the whip and get this food back on track (if it ever was?) I speak as a chef experienced in Italian cuisine, particularly the kind that Pavarotti is aiming to cook. It was a shameful meal, but with a few tweaks and an exacting boss at the helm, there's no reason that that couldn't easily be fixed.

This restaurant is in walking distance from us so we felt we should try it. We were optimistic and the decor was nice but the food didn't meet expectation. We were bought the wrong starter - didn't want to kick up a fuss so had it anyway. The carbonara was very average and pizza base like an average Tesco pizza base. Hope they sort out the kitchen and waiting staff as would love to see this place become really nice.

Ik had op internet een paar goede recensies gelezen, dus op naar Pavarotti. Als je dan met de taxi aankomt dat zie je een paar goedkope meubelwinkels en daartussen een bord met Pavarotti erop. Oeps, dat is schrikken. Binnen zag het er allemaal keurig uit maar niet echt gezellig. Toen kwam de menukaart en zag je hoeveel keuze ze hadden. Er is een open keuken dus je kunt precies zien hoe ver ze al zijn. Met drie koks duurde het dan ook niet lang. De canelloni was voortreffelijk. Dan steek je je duim op naar de kok en in een mum van tijd stond hij naast ons. Hij vertelde dat hij de canelloni van pannenkoekdeeg maakt. Iets dat in zijn geboorteplaats meer voorkomt. Hij was in ieder geval prima, en ook de andere gerechten waren uitstekend. Ben je een keertje naar het NEC beursgebouw dan kun je hier lekker eten. Het is 10 minuten met de taxi.

There were 20 of us, here for a retirement do. With groups that large I often find the food to be mediocre, cold or served to slowly.

As a family we’ve been going to this place for many years on an of, we’ve also referred lots of friends to this restaurant however it’s going down the drain very quickly Franco the owner is a great guy but his partner is just a joke he expects people to go there and be happy with crap food and service that he provides and if you complain about anything that he made himself in a kitchen he couldn’t care less this is not the first time that this has happened I let him get away with disappointing food a few times but not any longer all the people we’ve taken there in the past they stopped going and even though I like Franco I’m sorry to say we will not be spending our money and time there any more. The only reason they get a 3 score is in respect to Franco.

Very warm welcome into the restaurant. Staff are friendly. Decor on the table is filled with different types of pasta so that’s very cool. The food is very tasty and affordable and a good ambience. Will definitely come back again.

We visited this restaurant for our anniversary and must be honest was quite disappointed. The food wasn't terrible but was mediocre at best, the service was also a little disjointed. One poor waitress seemed to be wandering about delivering the wrong food and drink to people! Also if you do choose to visit this restaurant don't be afraid to dress down!!!

My husband and I love eating at Pavarotti’s so we dined here at the weekend just gone for our 10th anniversary and had the most fantastic experience. We told them the occasion in advance and we found a handwritten note to congratulate us which we found really sweet. I ordered the steak with cream and mushrooms and i must say it was to die for. My husband really enjoyed his risotto too and the prawns were really fresh and tasty. We sat at a table next to the kitchen and although it was quite noisy it was rather enjoyable to watching the chefs prepare the food. Service was outstanding the ladies just could not do more for us, I first ordered the halibut and the kitchen had ran out so the waitress gave us some drinks on the house once we were finished to apologise although it was no inconvenience to me at all and I was actually delighted that I had to change my choice to the steak as it was SO tasty! After finding out it was our anniversary the chefs also decorated our pudding plates (homemade tiramisu is amazing!!!) with a message and love hearts. Excellent place to eat, wonderfully romantic and the staff are one of a kind. Thank you for yet again a fantastic evening, can’t wait to come back!

We went to this restaurant and was served by a waitress that asked for our drinks.

It was a reasonable Italian meal, served well. The downside was the system of registering one's car for parking in the access road nearby. I filled in the registration but it did not stop PREMIER PARK LTD> from sending me a fine of £60. As a company who are only there to issue fees for parking. (Not fines but FEES) they took no interest in my responses. Taking advice it seems that I do nothing and let them take me to court, which is very unlikely. Who at the restaurant was persuaded to take part in this scam?

We have visited Pavarotti regularly over the last few years and have always thoroughly enjoyed our evenings there. Food is fabulous and reasonably priced and the service has always been good. After not going for a few months for various reasons, I checked the reviews on here and saw several bad ones, so was concerned that things might have changed.. Four of us visited last night for a birthday meal and it was wonderful - delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. In my opinion, Pavarotti is a great Italian restaurant and we'll be back.

Not fine dining. Below a snooker/ pool club. Booked a table, walked up to a waitress & gave our names, to which she honked “YU WAAART?” I looked around to see babies crying in their buggies next to women in anoraks eating pizza and lots...

I haven't visited for a while so was delighted when the opportunity arose to dine here this evening. As always, you are made so welcome by the lovely Franco and his team at pavarottis and my friend and I thoroghly enjoyed the tasty, excellently presented...

Fab food and staff reasonable prices too been several times for celebration always a great night never fail to please

Christmas eve treat that was a complete waste of money, the waitresses don't have a clue between them and the food was awful. Steak was over done and dry in two dishes and the pasta dishes were a wash with parmesan. The service is very slow in there. This place used to be excellent and was a restaurant of choice when ever the chance came however I don't know what has happened but I would not recommend you waste your money, as prices are high for such low quality food and service.

We visited here for a 18th birthday celebration. The evening started off well and the food was fabulous so we couldn't fault that. He service on the other hand was just terrible. Two waitresses, who between them were useless. We had to come and ask them to clear the table as the glasses were overflowing and space was minimal, food and drinks were bought over to us that we didn't order and we had to constantly try and catch their attention to order more drinks as they were too busy chatting at the bar. To be fair this i wouldn't let this bother me so much if the restaurant was busy but it was just us and one other table! So no excuses really. Management need to sort this as it can ruin, what is, a fantastic place to eat.

The restaurant kitchen is open to view the food being cooked and has a good atmosphere. The seating area is big and the tables are glass with pasta underneath - a nice touch.The service is good and the menu is reasonably priced. I have never had a bad meal experience here and have eaten here quite a lot.

Given the fact that this restaurant had very few customers, our waitress was lacking in smiles. At the end of the evening, the surly waitress and her colleague sat at the till, chatting, at the front, despite having given us our bill. We even put our coats on and were seen by them, but NO service while the two, unbusy waitresses simply stared. No service. Perhaps this is a café and not a restaurant. We had to go to the till in the end. Dreadful service.

Waited to be taken to our prebooked table, waited to be asked for drinks, waited for the menus, when we were ready to order we were told we had to wait for 10 minutes! Staff generally really nice apart from the lady with the strange tattoos, she was really abrupt & bordering on rude, food was OK but wouldn't return due to appalling service.

Six of us went for a celebratory meal this evening.The place was practically empty yet we were subjected to especially tardy service.Our waitress,every time she deigned to turn up,was unnecessarily surly.I did not expect the food to be made from scratch but to have all three steaks cooked wrongly,burnt french fries and a lasagne cold in the middle is a disgrace!The house wines were good.I will never go there again!

went here for the first time for my anniversary (aug 2016)with my family, staff and chef were very courteous and mindful of any concerns we had. great menu and excellent food cooked in kitchen that we can view from our seats. I brought my husband here last Saturday night for a birthday treat. I had booked in advance a table for 2 but although in the area on time, we couldn't find anywhere to park so I rang to check we still had a table. They said yes, but on arrival, the restaurant was heaving with large block bookings and we had to wait over 30 mins to be seated. We were offered a free drink at the bar but no-body served us as they were preoccupied with the parties. The same happened to a couple who came after us and we all laughed about it. What else could we do? HOWEVER the food was excellent when we finally ate. So was the service by the lovely Sahar. She really saved the night, gave us brilliant attention to detail and though I'd not booked a cake made a fuss of my hubbies birthday by decorating his very tasty Tiramisu. Thank you Sahar :-) otherwise I would have given the Service generally a poor rating.

Great service and exceptional food. highly recommend this restaurant. We will be going again a week on Saturday and I am really looking forward to it. We visit when we do the NEC show Oct and Feb every year and is the one thing we look forward to.

Food very tasty, although a little disappointed with the service, due to not being asked how our meals were whilst we were eating & not receiving the garlic bread that we'd ordered with our meal.

8 of us ate last night, food and service was very good, it was a shame we were the only ones in there after 9pm, fortunately there was enough of us to create our own atmosphere. The only problem with this restaurant is they never change the menu as have eaten her many times, saying that you can guarantee the quality is always good.

Chose caprese salad to start this is the best dish I've eaten here very Italian an refreshing. Served with proscutto and olives.I chose tuna for my main for me it was over cooked like it was cooked from frozen rather than fresh but the meal as a whole with the sauce was nice and I cleared my plate. I would order it again so done be put off in just been honest.I really wanted a Pizza But I'm on a post Christmas diet.
