The best restaurants in West Midlands

I'd been to the TB in Leamington but wasn't a fan, so when the team decided that we would come here, I was hesitant. However, we came on a quiet evening (5 of us) and I had a very enjoyable meal. Choices were bad and prices were not extortionate. It's not a bad place, and if suggested as a place to go I wouldn't be so hesitant.

Unreal service! Hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Abul was incredibly warm and welcoming—he took the time to learn both mine and my partner’s names and used them throughout the evening, which made the experience feel so much more personal and relaxed. The food was absolutely fantastic and such great value. Thanks so much, guys—we’ll 100% be back soon!

Stunning restaurant, decorated so well for Christmas. Service, food and drinks were exemplary!! We will be back again for definite. The Sunday lunch was Amazing!!

We visited the red lion for a stop over in our motor home , what can I say but what an amazing place this is , site has everything you need for your Motorhome stay , Kath and Dave and all staff are amazing , so polite and helpful, we had an amazing meal and drink , all home made food and the service was 5star, we would highly recommend a stay and visit for a meal or drink , loved our stop over , Thank you so much , we will be back

A wonderfully intimate culinary experience! Only a handful of tables so a really special feeling, service is extremely attentive and the waiters knowledge of the food is impeccable! The kitchen is open so you can see the hustle and bustle, however it isn’t noisy or at all uncomfortable - highly recommend!

Lowes really does the best Sunday lunch, we cannot recommend enough!! We visit often and the quality and attention to detail never alters, this is because George and his team care. Try it, you will not be disappointed. Lowes deserve 10 stars because, they provide exceptional service, the food is top quality and delicious. We took our parents last Sunday and our friends this Sunday they all agreed that this was the best Sunday lunch they had ever experienced in a restaurant. Thank you to George and his team.

We went for a friend’s 40th the staff were fantastic made sure we had everything we needed and the food was out of this world will definitely be back

Excellent Sunday lunch, lots of room and light meant that we could spread out and not feel cramped or rushed. The food was excellent quality, plenty of it and served in hot bowls and plates. It ticked all of our boxes!!

Nice guy and yummy food at great value

This place does really nice curry, would recommend for food, good customer service as well. The cobra was cool and went down too easy.

We cycled over 10 miles to visit this entity which apparently has not been a tea room for over 3 years. It is still showing on the Herefordshire publicity material and cycle guides as a tea room. The photographs on Trip Advisor are also very misleading. There are currently no tea rooms in Pembridge.

Great place with a nice atmosphere. Had a really tasty meal, including the 'railway' special, which went with the well mixed cocktails ;)

This lovely little cafe has reopened under new management since the previous owner sadly fell ill. The new owner bakes all the cakes herself and they are absolutely incredible. My sister and I popped in and had the carrot cake (sublime!) and Victoria sponge (huge!) and thought both were delicious. A family group was just about to be served what looked like a splendid afternoon tea and we were very jealous! She also does light lunches. We will be back.

A really good meal, very tasty and not too filling. We all enjoyed it. 2 of us had the Thali and it was a perfect selection thank you.

Excellent food, lovely table and such a quaint little place,service with a smile thoughrouly enjoyed the evening will return when we're back in Broadway
