The best restaurants serving Japanese food in West Midlands

This review is actually for EN BBQ Hereford (slighty different name but same location). I was looking for a spicy quick vegan lunch and spotted this on the menu 'Rice Bowl Bibimbap with tofu & avocado". It was lovely. Totally recomend it too eat in as the pipping hot clay bowl creates that gorgous crisy rice you get at the bottom of wok rice.

This is a beautiful restaurant that is slightly outside of the main tourist area within Stratford upon Avon. the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive, will definitely return here, great to find somewhere that does fantastic sushi.

I had a delicious lunch at SushiLand today! I have eaten there many times now and both the food and service have always been fantastic! I tried the tempura sweet potato for the first time today and it is definitely now a favourite of mine! My other favourites are the spring rolls and katsu chicken! I highly recommended you visit! A little hidden gem!

Simple, tasty and healthy sushi. I tried a burrito which was delicious. A very relaxed and pleasant environment in which the service was friendly and efficient.

I had the pleasure of sampling Kodawari during a visit to Caffeine & Machine and it was absolutely sensational. I had the Teriyaki Beef loaded fries and the Katsu Chicken sando (sandwich). Everything was just perfect, absolutely no criticisms at all. The chicken was divine - not too moist but not dry either, right in the sweet spot with quality meat clearly used. The beef was also great - sometimes Teriyaki can be an overpowering flavour but it was again, spot on. I now actively look for when Kodawari is at C&M, cannot wait to eat there again!

Perfect. I have visited many times, always excellent and consistent. Gyoza is a must and Asahi is always ice cold. Highly recommend

This place is an absolute delight, the food was incredibly delicious, we're not vegan or vegetarian so we weren't sure what to expect but it was incredibly delicious and very filling, the atmosphere was romantic and perfect and the staff lovely, highly recommended. 10 out of 10

The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. On a cold day, it nourishes your soul. I definitely recommend this place! The only thing to note is that they are quite awkward with large bookings, we had to deal with some convoluted processes/restrictions around the deposit, booking times and the bill. Usually this is pretty straightforward in other places, unsure why the approach is so pedantic here.

We had a great evening at Dine India recently. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. It got really busy as the evening went on. Desserts are limited to a small chocolate cake & ice cream. A small glass of Tia Maria, Baileys & cream was given to us as a complimentary drink.

Ordered on Uber Eats, after 1 hour of waiting they cancelled via the app saying they weren't taking more orders today. Spoilt our evening.

Food was delicious. The miso soup had vegetables in which made it extra special.

Really good food, loved the prawn tempuras but the okonomiyaki skewers were an absolute highlight. Also a very good sushi night and my first time trying the bean paste filling dessert which was wonderful. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Would highly recommend

I love Miso, it's one of my favourite places to eat and I wish I could go there more often. The staff are lovely and will advise and help out where they can. The decor is reasonably nice and comfortable, with a low-volume Japanese music playlist on a large TV, which is interesting to see. The main thing is the food though, which is just superb. I am particularly fond of the karaage chicken benton box which beats KFC by a country mile. Everything is fresh, hot and tasty which a good selection of drinks. I don't tend to drink alcohol, so I stick with the bubble teas. Beautiful food, highly recommended. Long may it last! Thanks!
