This is takeaway only. The best Japanese in the Midlands. Great menu choice and delicious food. They are not currently open as they are looking to relocate. Can’t wait until they reopen.

Me and my partner have been ordering at Oishi for a couple years now, by far the best Japanese takeaway I've had, better than many restaurants. They're always adding new things to the menu, the food Is always completely amazing and we have never had an issue. Best rugby takeaway!

Ordered from this restaurant on a Sunday night fancying some sushi and it did not disappoint! Amazing, fresh quality food and friendly, fast service. Would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!

The quality is good, taste is also very good, the only issues it has become slightly too pricey over the last year. I had ordered from Oishii before, will order in future just less frequently, sadly. Thanks anyway

Their food options look pretty legit. Takoyaki had the right flavour but could use bigger chunks of octopus, rice could use a few more furikake sprinkles, sesame seeds or umeboshi for flavour - the unagi don is EXCELLENT and highly recommended. If you want a flavour of Japan, this is currently the best place in Rugby. I really hope they add okonomiyaki to their menu. Prices are crazy high, but they basically have a monopoly for quality so that’s understandable. Bonus point for the free miso soup, though 🤩 Still, the expense may make this a rare treat rather than a regular one. Something to take on board, Oishii.

Had the pork belly ramen and it was absolutely delicious! Broth was very tasty and the pork was perfect! A good sized portion as well, lots of noodles!

I've ordered from them from the beginning and so far I never had a complain about the food or delivery. Happy customer 🥰. Kathy G you should be ashamed about your reviews, looking on all your reviews from all the restaurants where I've been I can say just Shame on you. That is not nice from you to throw dirt in all the businesses where you eaten. If you are so unhappy with the restaurants then you should start cooking for yourself🤭.

So disappointed as I love Japanese, this place really let's it down badly Paid £22 for a over done pumpkin korokke, chicken teriyaki which had virtually no veg as advertised and over cooked small amount of chicken with half a teaspoon of overcooked greens and tempura crab, that looks nothing like the photo and virtually no crab meat, not even a teaspoon. All so disgusting it ended up in the dustbin, such a waste of money Really bad food , so disappointed, I've been ripped off.

Really great Japanese cuisine. Owners very friendly. However, 2 things to know: it is cash only and the take-away is hidden inside the Chinese take-away.

really good food and portion sizes. the korean fried chicken was excellent, as was the spider roll. katsu curry was very good too. will order again

Tried this take-away for the first time today and it was delicious. We especially liked the teriyaki chicken (the sauce was very more-ish!) and the yakitori chicken skewers. We'll definitely be back! To find it, go into Rugby House Chinese Takeaway.

OMG how did I not know this amazing place exists 5 mins away?! The food was so fresh and delicious. Had some sushi - amazing! And 2 different hot food options, pork dish as well as katsu curry! Gave Wagamama run for it's money! Can't wait to order again! My new fave take away in Rugby!

Just had a chicken katsu bento box delivered and was INCREDIBLE....... great miso soup, gorgeously crunchy gyozas and just the best chicken katsu curry ever. Definitely be back

Food is very decilious and freshly made. 100% recommended and will definitely order more!!!

Tried a bit of everything, was really lovely- the noodle dishes were not too oily and good flavour, the gyozas were great, and the sushi was tasty and well presented. (My husband also really liked the veg sushi and noodles, and he is a tough critic!) They called to let me know they were really busy, which was helpful and the food was really nicely packaged when I got home. Will definitely have this again. Thanks!

Tasty, had katsu curry, unfortunately my rice was cold. I had collected it, but curry was hot. The dumplings were tasty. Bit confused when I was looking for the place as it was in the Chinese takeaway.

Food is unreal! Bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for, and sushi isn't cheap! I can't wait till my next order!

Finally - Rugby's wait for a proper Japanese + sushi place is over. The food here is spectacular and it has almost become a fortnightly ritual for us to have some Oishii food (pun intended) Their fish selection for sashimi and nigiri is smaller than what you'll see in a city but the quality is top notch and I appreciate that in a town that does not have a fishmonger to speak of. But the real stars of their menu are Unagi Don, their curries and their takoyaki. Pictured one of our delivered meals. 100% recommended, we're fans!

Love the food! The location is a bit hard to find (it is in Rugby House Chinese Takeaway) but this gem never disappoints.

Lunch time bento boxes - amazing!!! So yummy and authentic flavours. Plus they have Japanese Ramune - Lychee is my favourite. We will definitely be back :)

We had the lunch time bento boxes - Chicken Katsu, Pumpkin Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki. Look at the pictures - beautifully presented and so yummy!!! We've been lucky enough to visit Japan and the taste was phenomenal, authentic and just delicious. The vegetable gyoza, salad and miso with your main just reminded us of happy memories. Service and presentation just amazing - I can just say try it, try it, try it - you will not be disappointed. They also have Japanese Ramune soda - lychee is my favourite so don't forget to order one of them too!! We have found our regular eat out place with Oishii!!
