Kodawari in Bromsgrove

I had the pleasure of sampling Kodawari during a visit to Caffeine & Machine and it was absolutely sensational. I had the Teriyaki Beef loaded fries and the Katsu Chicken sando (sandwich). Everything was just perfect, absolutely no criticisms at all. The chicken was divine - not too moist but not dry either, right in the sweet spot with quality meat clearly used. The beef was also great - sometimes Teriyaki can be an overpowering flavour but it was again, spot on. I now actively look for when Kodawari is at C&M, cannot wait to eat there again!

Ordered the Pulled Beef rice bowl, chicken katsu, karaage chicken and panko aubergine. Was made up as soon as I arrived to collect, which meant everything was freshly prepared. I can definitely recommend everything that we ordered. Do not miss out!

I ordered the chicken Katsu curry meal as a birthday gift for my son. Communication was excellent the courier was arranged extremely promptly and a gift message could be added which was great. My son absolutely loved the curry the best he’d ever tasted, it arrived on his birthday well packaged and easy to follow instructions. I wish I was nearer to visit the restaurant in person the choice of freshly cooked from scratch dishes are amazing. Highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend Kodawari for it’s tasty chicken katsu curry. Full of flavour. Very happy with the fast delivery service too.

amazing flavours and menu. if you like Japanese food.. or just tasty food, you won't be disappointed. the chicken katsu sando and teriyaki beef loaded fries are amazing.

This is top quality ramen in every way. I tried Smoked Shoyu and Truffle Shoyu they both have an amazing mushroom broth. These are umami bombs if you like clearer but flavourful broth. Both the truffle and smoked bacon elevates the ramen to another level!! The Chicken Paitan is milky white - think of it as a lighter version of Tonkotsu, it's less rich but still has a very full bodied flavour profile. Also the Hakata style thin noodles are a great match for this creamy soup! The owner is super nice as well! Honestly can't recommend enough!

Everyone and I mean everyone NEEEEED to order one of these ramen kits because I haven’t tasted ramen as good as this in a longggg time, especially when you can make it at the comfort of your own home! I tried the Kodawari craft mushroom & truffle and it was UMAMI in the mouth, every single element was sensational. The noodles had bite, the pork was tender & flavoursome, the egg was perfectly runny, the broth was clear and light, and the truffle aroma oil married everything together... The kit screams high quality products, highly skilled techniques and made with utter love 💓 I have no words for it other than absolutely obsessed!

Best food DIY kit I have ever had. Quality ingredients. Easy to make with simple and cute illustrated instructions. The noodle texture was so good in the broth. Egg marinated and cooked to perfection. Looking forward to tasting different dishes from Kodawari, and hope you become a permanent restaurant!
