The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Prácticamente no hay nada que no te guste en The Wilderness. Gran vibra, impresionante frente de la casa, y una oferta de música que puede ayudar a sastre. La mayoría de los platos son de 5 estrellas. Pero no todos tienen una puntuación tan alta como los demás. Sin duda recomendaría el espectáculo, y vale la pena la ida y vuelta de 200 millas. Pero en mi opinión, la noche que fuimos, BBQ brassicas decepcionó el lado. Y el postre 2 necesitaba más pera. Lo siento. Lo intentaré de nuevo, la próxima vez que estemos en la ciudad, ya que el equipo, como digo, es totalmente de primera clase. Ve a verlo por ti mismo.

Excellent Sunday lunch, lots of room and light meant that we could spread out and not feel cramped or rushed. The food was excellent quality, plenty of it and served in hot bowls and plates. It ticked all of our boxes!!

We cycled over 10 miles to visit this entity which apparently has not been a tea room for over 3 years. It is still showing on the Herefordshire publicity material and cycle guides as a tea room. The photographs on Trip Advisor are also very misleading. There are currently no tea rooms in Pembridge.

This lovely little cafe has reopened under new management since the previous owner sadly fell ill. The new owner bakes all the cakes herself and they are absolutely incredible. My sister and I popped in and had the carrot cake (sublime!) and Victoria sponge (huge!) and thought both were delicious. A family group was just about to be served what looked like a splendid afternoon tea and we were very jealous! She also does light lunches. We will be back.

Such a comfortable, welcoming place to stay for the night. Breakfast was really delicious, the white table cover and beautiful cloth napkins were a lovely touch!

Coffee very weak and not enjoyable, coffee was spilled in saucer no sugar in lovely jar. Very strong smell of cooking no vent to take smells away menu very sticky i think a little bit more care needed i left all of y coffee ,paid and walked out wont go again.

We had loads of food from these guys at vegan campout amazing burgers great fries all food amazing can't rate these guys high enough 😋

Haven't been in a while but an almost perfect menu for me, good quality produce, well cooked and looked after perfectly by the students. Brilliant value for money. We will be back.

Everything was first class from the start of our stay. We got a warm welcome when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Anthony the manager was extremely helpful and showed us our room which was stunning with a small patio outside. The room was spotless with gorgeous toiletries, towels and bedding. The bed was very comfy. The food in the restaurant was delicious with lots of choice and we ate there both nights. The breakfast was also very well presented with lots of choice. Alison the waitress was 10/10 she was friendly and so efficient. We felt extremely well looked after even with all our requests which were all met. There was lots to see around the area with plenty of nice walks and the staff also had leaflets on the walks. We went to Hodnet Hall gardens on day two which was a 5 minute easy walk from The Bear Inn.The gardens were stunning and at £10pp well worth the visit. Cannot recommend The Bear Inn and its staff highly enough. We would all stay there again in a heart beat

Nice little place with good vegan doughnut and hot chocolate options. 4 types of vegan doughnuts. Friendly, fast service.

An amazing surprise for my 60th birthday. We were met by the owners and driven round the farm by John and his sidekick. They introduced us to the beautiful animals and told us their stories, knowing each ones name. We got out of the car many times to stroke the cows. At the end we were shown the magnificent bulls and had the opportunity to groom and walk a cow. We then saw the other animals and fed a lamb its bottle. The visit ended with a warm drink and a huge slice of the most delicious carrot cake(others available)in the cosy tearoom. A wonderful, truly amazing birthday experience.

Every course was very good or excellent. The menu was creative without being over the top. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed.

Fantastic pub only had drinks on previous visits but today we had made a Sunday lunch time booking and we had a fantastic lunch and it’s a credit to Karen and her team at the venue.

Food and service was great. Bizarre experience being in the Spode factory, but totally worth it! Loved the story behind each of the dishes and the oatcake was especially good. Great value also.
