The best restaurants serving Portuguese food in North West

Fantastic tarts. Got a 6-pack of the classic flavour in the market at York. So good. Best I've had outside of Portugal. Chap serving was very friendly. Highly recommend.

OG nandos for me. Never had many complaints over the years. Just had a free whole chicken so can't complain. 10/10

Went for a family meal with a birthday cake for my mother in law and we had wonderful experience. Mark and Kurt worked tirelessly to make sure all of our requests were handled in a timely and professional manner. Many thanks to all of the staff members namely Leah and Mo. The food speaks for itself and the quality was the best I've had from any nandos. Will 100% be dining again as it was made special by a warm and caring team of staff. Special shout out to whoever grilled the haloumi cheese for our staters as it was cooked perfectly.

Nando’s - Preston Cheapside I went to Manchester Nando’s branches years ago but late February 25 saw my first visit to the Preston branch with my friend, Paul. The food was terrific but the lack of waiter service and element of get it yourself was glaringly obvious. Nando’s is trying to be both a restaurant and a fast food place. Staff don’t come to the tables to take your food and drink orders. You have to go to the till to order and give your table number like you would in Wetherspoons. Nothing was up to say this was how it was done. We learned of it from other diners. Menus are not placed on the tables, but in a rack near the entrance and easy to miss, so again I had to cross the restaurant to get something. When the meals arrived there was no cutlery, as that too is a fetch it yourself arrangement, and the knives/forks are situated right at the back of the restaurant along with an impressive range of condiments. Adding decent table service and Nando’s would greatly improve its status. The food remains excellent though dominated by chicken to the point at which the venues may not appeal to vegans or vegetarians. Arthur Chappell.

Not been here for years because it isn't local to me, but I was in the area when it was time to open my fast. There was a short wait, which was expected, but I asked the Manager if I could grab some water while waiting as I had to open my fast. She was super sweet and even offered me dates 🫶🏼 we were seated fairly quickly, and she seemed to have everything running smoothly even at peak time. Food was served quickly and, as always, was great.

This was the best Nando’s I have ever visited and I have visited quite a lot of Nando’s up and down the country. As soon as we entered the building we was greeted with kind staff, we was taken directly to our assigned seats and menus were handed out to us, the man at the till was super friendly and kind and when we left something at the till, he came over to our table and gave it us back, the food came over within a couple of minutes and was absolutely brilliant , the best Nando’s I have ever eaten! I would highly recommend this Nando’s, definitely the best one I have been too!❤️

Food was ok after half an hours wait staff let it down strolling around stood chatting in groups waited 15 minutes for empty glasses to be brought over to the table staff couldn’t walk slower if they tried they’d ranout of pepper and salt had to be searched for really poor all round.

Excellent home made food. A great selection available from the menu. The chicken curry with chips and rice is amazing!

Not good. Spent over £30 for an average cheeseburger for me and my friend with 2 sides. The spicy rice was average. The person taking the order did not assist or inform us that 2 sides were included for each burger and when I went to order a takeout I was informed I could not use the app twice!

We always come to this Nando’s as it’s closer to are home, I think for service and food it’s the best one Warrington to go to. I only know the one in Warrington town and Widnes , I think this one is the best one, can get busy tho! We usually come 4pm before tea time rush, and either when it opens or just after dinner. I think the food is good from here and cooked great- food is not over cooked like some of the Nando’s I’ve been to, very good when it’s super busy there quick getting that food out and very good with making sure customers needs are met at all times .
