I always feel that you get more than you expect at Nando’s Crewe. The staff are always great from the minute you enter and it continues throughout your visit. This time we enjoyed 1/2 a chicken and (my new favourite) fully loaded wrap, with sides of chips, coleslaw and spicy rice. Great service, good food served in a nice airy decor. I’m not a lover of fast food at all, Nando’s Crewe just gives that bit more.

Perfect Monday lunch date with my mum, excellent customer service from Chloe and Lauren, Chicken Cesar salad was so tasty and the peri fries just amazing, definitely will return x

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews. However we have been coming to the Crewe location for a while now and have never had any issues till today. The customer service from Meg was possible the worst I have encountered in my years of visiting different restaurants. It was a Friday so I can understand what a busy day can do to you in work. If you’re going to have people representing your business/company at least make sure that they have been trained properly and not letting them run round being rude to customers. Please be warned don’t ask where your food is !!! (Doesn’t go down well with Meg)

Had a great visit today, got served by Dayton who was an absolute ray of sunshine couldn’t have asked for anyone better!!

Food was very tasty and cheap but the vegetarian food was not available even though you could buy the ingredients separately anyway it was nice intently

This evening we chose Nandos in Crewe amongst the fierce competitors locally. We are not regulars to Nandos and unsure what the procedure was to order our food and drinks. We were seated, menus provided and asked if we had visited Nandos recently, in which we replied no! The staff member then walked off and stood by the tills. 20 minutes later he walked passed us without any acknowledgement despite us trying to raise his attention. An absolutely awful customer experience, so walked out!

What a blight on the Nando’s brand. QR Code Ordering on phone Staff had to come and check what drinks we wanted. Was their printer not working? Food was just Nando’s, the basic good quality which hasn’t changed in a decade or more Table not cleared after we finished. Three staff were refilling yoghurt machine. When we ordered deserts. Desserts not served. They denied we had ordered. Again, was their printer not working. After chasing deserts, they arrived. We had to ask the staff to clear the table. Waiter dropped knives and forks when clearing table and kicked them under the next table Eight youths causing trouble two tables down - clipping and jostling - they then went outside and fought themselves in the car park for twenty minutes around patrons cars. They didn’t seem to have any food on their table. Just two drinks. This is not a pub. Crap service, intimidating surroundings - food was fine

throughout our meal the young girls on the floor were gathering in groups laughing and giggling with each other which when unnoticed towards a few tables,they also were completing jobs in couples and we noticed the ignored delivery staff when walking through the door to collect food they didn’t bat an eyelid to the fact delivery drivers were stood there to which they then proceed to giggle and walk into the kitchen laughing telling different memebers of staff!

Terrible customer service! Wrong order and the supervisor on shift couldn’t care less and didn’t want to resolve the problem! Shouldn’t be in a customer service role especially not a supervisor with a bad attitude like that and no care that after spending £60 our tea was ruined with missing items! Not to mention we waited nearly an hour for it anyway!

Average and overpriced. It's nothing special, but did its job well enough. I'm not in a rush to go back.

Really good meal and enjoyed the new items on the menu. We were served by a young lady called Lauren who was super polite and lovely. Service was quick and food was delicious. The atmosphere was really good, only thing we picked up on was that a certain member of staff was constantly walking around like she did not want to be there, the one with the red hair. Maybe she was having a bad day but genuinely looked like she would rather be any where else (a smile wouldn’t hurt). Other than that it was a really good experience.

New management? First visit in a while, the restaurant and toilets are so much cleaner. Very pleasant experience

Decided to try Nando’s takeaway service for the first time this weekend. Placed order for collection later in the day at pre-booked time. Arrived in time, was greeted by friendly staff and asked to take a seat. Must have been sitting for 30 seconds before being told food ready. After a 7 minute drive home with the food it was still piping hot and very tasty. Highly recommended, we will be back..

Arrived just before closing time, sat down with menus, ordered at 19:50 after being told the kitchen shuts at 20:00. And the staff said the kitchen is closed…. So now we’re waiting for a lift with no food

We arrived at 7:30pm and had to wait for a couple of friends to join us, with no mention of the kitchen closing soon on arrival. At 7:45pm we asked what time the kitchen stopped taking orders as we wanted to be sure we had enough time. We were told 8pm the kitchen will close. A couple minutes later we went up to the counter to order and were told the kitchen was already closed. I understand that it was close to the kitchen closing but it had only been minutes before that we asked about the time and we’re under the impression we still had 15 minutes to order. We were also sat near the counter with menus out on the table so it was disappointing that no member of staff communicated with us about this, even though there were lots of team members stood about.

To start with we were sat down and thought all was well unfortunately the waiter that then served us was down putting and almost looked like he wanted to serve anyone but us. The ketchup was NOT kid friendly and accessible to anyone the same waiter then said I had to get a knife and insert it to actually gain any of the sauce. After all of this the only good part was an incredible waitress Emily who had Incredible manners and was very professional. The only reason I might come back is if she is working.

Due to the high volume of deliveroo business, this place has a separate point for such collections. It's commonly confused with the point of ordering, annoying! They need to sign post this as order collection point. When I was directed to the correct order point a swarthy young lad, full of attitude, took my order, reluctantly. It seemed a surprise to him that someone wanted to order food at the food order point! I asked for some piri piri nuts as a starter, annoyingly yet unsurprisingly they did not arrive. Attitude rarely equals efficiency. My Meal arrived fine, it was just as good as nandos always is. On departure I went back and explained about my missing nuts, where the manager refunded me without any grace or apology for my inconvenience. I guess where the management lack professionalism, it follows the same will be true for the staff and indeed it was.

Arrived on Saturday early evening and were shown to a table by an extremely polite and friendly lady, we ordered again with a polite and friendly lady, very helpful both of them. I had been given a £70.00 voucher so produced it to pay, however the machine would not work, it had a technical fault. A young man came and apologised. I then turned to the Manager to say I wasn't really impressed, WOW - 'What do you want me to do about it!!! It's not my fault, I'm not the technician, I said a mere apology might be a start ' No way he said it's not my fault so no I wont apologies. So I like many others will vote with my feet and take my custom elsewhere. Reading the reviews it seems this is the way he is with a lot of people. Good luck.

We ordered a kids meal and was delivered something that was so spicey it brought a tear to my spice loving 40 year old eye. Lucky I tried it first because it would have blown the head of my 3 year old. Having ordered the option with 'No Spices' for my daughter, we raised our concern with the waiter who promptly went to get the Manager. The Manager was rude with his dim witted response of "well youl have to buy a new one" and he made no effort to resolve the situation by any means. Quite frankly one of the rudest managers I have ever come across. How Nando's employ this person is beyond me. I strongly advise anyone thinking of eating here to reconsider.

We stopped by off the Motorway for lunch, easy parking outside, nice light airy barn style building, friendly staff, but the chicken was seriously overcooked and like boot leather not enjoyable at all.

First time visit- Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and great friendly service from Anya. Will return here again :)

Waited on by Kezzer, she was fantastic, food served promptly and although a couple of items were wrong Kezzer was quick to sort these out! She couldn’t do anymore for us . Will be back again

Very quick service on a busy night. Shoutout to elesha, Kezz and Jordan all top fellas. Pay rise is definitely worth it for all three. Been to 7 different nandos, this one definitely stands out. Staff really made this night one to remember.

Passing through after a 2.5 hour trip and stopped off. Loads of tables but wouldn’t allow us to dine in and would only offer us takeaway. Reason was an overwhelmed kitchen but no problem for the same kitchen to cook the takeaway. Absolute nonsense and...

Our food was late, but Jordan sorted us right out. He challenged the kitchen and then brought us our food right on time and apologised for it being late. Superb member of staff that nandos should keep hold of.

Came here for dinner one evening while staying in the area for work. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite.

Shellac is not plant based, vegan or vegetarian yet it is in your plant based option. Shellac is secreted onto the bark of trees by a beetle... not sure anyone would want to eat that. Nando's should be clear about not being vegan or plant...

I entered Nando’s expecting a delicious meal, however, I was in for a surprise. The service was poor and the food was terrible. A few of the staff members had serious cake and looked tasty so I’ll be there again!! AH

I often eat here as I dont travel back home for tea on certain days. Always a warm welcome and always clean and tidy. Well managed and efficient staff help and serve. Toilets are clean and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed.

I met up with friends at Nando’s Crewe on a Saturday lunchtime, the place was pretty dead (surprisingly) especially as it was a weekend. Situated next to a busy retail park, there is a small car park (tight spaces) outside, though it seemed some had parked here to then go and shop over the road.Waitresses were friendly enough, and the service was ok, Though we didn’t all get our starters at the same time. I had the olives, which are sitting in a bowl on the counter (I hadn’t noticed this before). For main, I had the chicken breast, from possibly the smallest bird known to man! I ordered it medium, but it had very little flavour at all. The mash was good, the salad was average.It cost me £18 for my starter, main and drink. Not the cheapest lunch.

Having heard so much about Nando's we decided to give it a go in Crewe. What a mistake to make.Located on the edge of the retail park with a small car park at the front, it's a big barn of a place with no atmosphere.Tables were sticky...basically all you get is a piece of rather bland tasteless chicken, supposedly half a chicken but ours must have been scratchers because I've seen more meat on a parrot.We went for the least spicy option but it was still rather tasteless.Staff were very apathetic and more interested in gossiping amongst themselves. Even the soft drinks tasted as if they were short on flavouring.I wasn't surprised to see a number of tables left with uneaten food on the plates.Prices were overinflated and Nando's is definitely overrated.Not an experience to ever be repeated ... If it's chicken you want then it has to be KFC EVERY TIME.don't waste your money !

The food was very poor in quality. The boneless was full of bones. It had no flavour and there was very little actual meat. The chips were bad and the service from the waiters was abysmal. Nandos is definitely overrated. KFC FOR THE WIN!!!! Go home bargains and KFC for food in this retail park.

Evening meal with our grandsons who are 13 and 15, great atmosphere, welcoming staff and plenty of choice on the menu. Good value for money too. Did not have to wait long for our food, even though the place was mega busy! No parking places but able to park on road nearby.

Enjoyed an after work dinner with friends here. Quite quiet so plenty of seating and food was served pretty quickly.

Hadn’t been to a Nando’s for ages due to not so good experience. Had dinner here with some colleagues. The food was hot, fresh and served with a smile. The restaurant was clean, warm and welcoming. Been converted again so will go back to Nando’s again. Butterfly chicken and hot sauce was lovely

Nice spices, good chicken (thighs are better than butterfly fyi). Often seems to be changing management, but still consistent food and customer service. Get what you pay for. Don’t tend to be screaming children (which is nice).

From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. Once we were seated Craig came and took our order. This being my first time to Nandos Craig took the time to explain the menu in a professional and friendly manner and was in no way condescending. Craig was also very respectful to the fact I am a veteran and carry a DFDS card. The food was faultless and I will definitely be using Nandos again. Craig keep up the good work.

I have not been to Nando's for years and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The service was also excellent.

Nandos is one of our go to restaurants as there is familiarity and consistency. We were quite disappointed with this location. The food was perfectly fine but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered a starter and 2 mains and asked for everything to be brought at the same time. The started showed up first and then we waited and waited. My wife's meal was prepared and sat under the heat lamp for 15 minutes until mine was ready then they brought both together. My wife's main was kind of grim by that point but we were in a hurry to eat and go so we just ate and left. No one checked on us to see if our meal was ok which has never happened in a Nandos before. My chicken wings were really nice however.

Upon reading the reviews I wasn't hoping for much to be honest. I have been to another nandos so I sort of knew the setup. Upon entering we were greeted by a lad who didn't look overly happy and he showed us to a table. He then slapped 2 menus on the table and walked off. Luckily we knew what to do or we could have been sat there for quite a while.

We’ve been here loads and normally some part of the meal was cold or not quite right (were ok with this as it is what it is ) but tonight exceptional!!! Staff always fun and we’re now full of chicken beer and wine well done here

I have visited a couple of days ago food was great and i have enjoyed it a lot with my 7year old son, the food wasnt too spicy for him although mine was just as i like it, the atmosphere was also fantastic and very warming. Will definitely visit again!

We decided to give Nandos a try, for a change as they have gluten free options on their menu for 'er indoors. We were shown to a table, but it would have been helpful if the guy had asked if we were familiar with the set up. We chose our meals, and sat there until my wife realised that we had to order at the counter.

Nando's is a teenagers dream - everyone has a favourite meal and they consistently deliver. We have the red pepper dip, larger than average portion of pitta. Rest of the meal was as expected

I mean who does not love a Nandos - right? As huge fans we have come to be really disappointed with this branch of Nandos and we're one of the people who advocated for a Nandos is the area. However after the last five takeaways we are giving up and sticking to the Cheshire Oaks or Trafford Centre from here on end. The quality of the food has diminished and portion sizes smaller than the other two Nandos we frequent. This is really sad as they could be raking it in.

Took my niece and nephew here on Saturday. There werent many options and the kids hated the chicken. The staff forgot their sides so i had to go up and ask. I then had to ask for the pots for their ice cream as the server forgot to give me them!

I'd probably give most Nando's restaurants a good review; fresh chicken, grilled so very little fat, great flavours, cool Portuguese/ African ambiance- what's not to like. Last night I had and probably each time I'm in a Nando's, quarter chicken, chips, (sometimes I'll switch it up and have sweet potato wedges) spicy rice and chicken livers all lemon and herb flavoured nom, nom, nom. I wish Nando's would thin cut and fry the sweet potatos/ chips though, just a thought.

As a frequent visitor to Nando's I am surprised at how often they have no avocado available.

I visited for lunch while shopping at the near retail park. The menu is similar to all other Nando's outlets, however the dining area is quite large and spacious. There is ample room to store prams and they also have high chairs available on request. The food is prepared promptly and service is friendly.

Nandos was one of my favourite places to eat. I thought it was a miracle when I finally found a place that I could eat out, as I am a very fussy. I ordered peri peri chips, a large portion, and they come plain. Not just once has this happened but three times. It's a minor, but I personally think that you should check the food and make sure it is correct before taking it out to customers. Awful.

Chicken dinner. Wonderful food as usual although this is the first time at the Crewe branch. We skipped starters and just had main and dessert. Very open seating in this one compared with others. We didn't book as we were in early enough on a Friday.

If you like good quality food and service this is the last place to go,menu choice is glorified chicken sandwich with various side orders and how hot do you want you're sauce, choice made you then queue up at a till to pay, then get your own cutlery and drinks,when food arrived it was greasy and the bread to hard, overall awful

Due to my lack of friends I visited crewe Nando's alone and wow! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. I sat and enjoyed the views over junction retail park as the sun set, sipping away on my refillable drink and enjoying the chicken. Can't wait to come again tomorrow!

It won't win many awards but it will give you a reasonable priced meal within a reasonable budget. Kids love it - even though they decided not to eat chicken on this visit, despite wanting to visit Nando's, that confused me! Service and food both pleasant and a good alternative to other fast food outlets in the area.

I was out having a pleasant meal with my friends and I ordered the cheesecake they didn't have any on hand so I switched my meal to chocolate cake which never came after waiting for 15 minutes . I am extremely disappointed with the poor service provided by Nando's Crewe as my friend also required money back as she paid for cheesecake but had to get ice cream which could have easily been provided by b&m.; Will not be returning anytime soon!

You can't go wrong with a cheeky Nando's, it's just like any other - polite staff, good food, nice atmosphere...and most importantly - amazing spices!

"Cheeky nandos" is all that made nandos popular. Now that saying has gone, the decrease in people wanting to go is amazing. I went and, yes, can agree that it is nice (but only nice), but the prices charged for what you receive is just ridiculous, especially when the service wasn't even great along side it.

My partner and I decided to visit nandos as it's fairly local to us. We had been once before in the past couple of months. Both times we had the boneless sharing platter and unlimited soft drink, costs about £26ish. The food is always very nice, however, no one came to ask us if our food was ok, I always enjoy the food but I do think it's slightly overpriced for what you get.

Food was quick, all tasted good other than the green beans were served cold which we weren't aware of. Unfortunately, we weren't checked on during our meal. We were over charged on the bill. However, did get the money back. Manager could have been more helpful and friendly when ordering.

Took my mum for lunch her first time at Nando's the first meal had the wrong sauce on and the second had black bits in the chicken as you cut it it was awful, never been back

I've visited Nando's in Crewe twice now, and on both occasions, felt considerably ripped off. I'm sorry, but £11.30 for a double pygmy chicken breast, and 2 meagre sides, just doesn't cut it. £5.20 for 2 drinks, free refills or not, is terrible value for money.

I've had a £10 Nando's voucher given to me over a year ago and I have avoided using it as there are so many better places to eat, either value wise or taste wise or even portion wise. The actual restaurant in Crewe is stylishly done out and had a good relaxed atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I ordered butterfly chicken, chips and garlic bread. The chicken was relatively tasty, the chips were poor and so too was the garlic bread. I left feeling hungry and disappointed having spend £13 on a meal, which I would have paid £6 for. Let's hope I don't every get a Nando's voucher again.

A lunch time visit on a Sunday, my first experience with the chain.very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the service.smiles and a warm greeting,shown to a table immediately and an explanation of how to order.food arrived promptly and was hot and tasty.bottomless soft drinks is always a hit with me and the price is definitely value for money.

Entered and shown to a dirty table. Asked for a gluten free option for my partner to be met with a confused look and and an answer of "I'll get the book" arrived with an allergen bible of every product . Told then that she couldn't have any meat from the grill as we cook the burgers on it. Mmm great kitchen practice to cook the burgers , steak and chicken on one grill !!! I work as a senior manager in the food industry and understand the need to make customers with allergies feel at ease and that the staff understand , this store (NOT a restaurant by any stretch of the imagination) is way off in even coming close to those expectations.

This nandos is honest to god the best one I have ever been to.

Arrived at an empty Nando's to be told that we were lucky and had got the last table (the place had about 8 other people in it and had no more when we left - this was a bit odd??). This was fine though.

Call in over Christmas to save cooking. Sarah ordered and went to pay - there card machine kept rejecting our card and we were told it was playing up. We had to put the meal on the visa.

We went to Nandos as we had been given a gift card for a present. Not my favorite chain but thought id give it another go. We were sat at a table quickly, and decided on what food we would like, We ordered and for the second time in two visits they didnt have what we wanted. The first time was no Chicken on a saturday evening around 5pm (I know). This time no spicy rice another saturday night at around 6pm. After sorting the food i went over to get cutlery, and every single piece was filthy, either remnants of food stuck between the fork spindles or chunks of food on the handles of the spoons and knives. I waited until they brought fresh out from the kitchen and this was the same, needless to say its the dish washers fault. Hey. Ill never be going back thats for sure, if they cant clean cutlery i dread to think what the kitchen will be like!

Decided to have lunch in nandos with my teenage daughter and her friend on Saturday. They chose to go here above all of the other places on the retail park.

This branch has some great staff who are really professional and do go out of their way in terms of service. Trying to create the South African experience of Nando's is important to this bunch, so extra points for trying to get it right.

The food was hot and service was good, the price was great. The whole staff polite and professional, nothing was an issue.

Basically, there's better quality food for cheaper prices elsewhere on / near the retail park. When we went the service was quite slow and the place was practically empty. You don't get a lot for the amount you pay and the chicken I had was terribly dry. I would recommend chiquitos over the road.
