Fantastic tarts. Got a 6-pack of the classic flavour in the market at York. So good. Best I've had outside of Portugal. Chap serving was very friendly. Highly recommend.

We really love their vegan tarts, so much so I've been trying to get some for our wedding reception. Across multiple weeks I've been trying to find a way to either get them delivered, collect, or buy wholesale (frozen) to bake ourselves but unfortunately every avenue is just met with a "no". I get they're busy but surely a guaranteed sale (about £100) should have some incentive to offer a way for it to be possible. But unfortunately it seems the only way is to just go to whatever market they have on, on the day, and buy from their stall.

Bought a plain Portuguese tart from the Sunrise Patisserie whilst visiting Lichfield Food and Drink festival. The tart was nothing but plain it was absolutely delicious. I only wished I'd bought some more. Delicious

Spot on!! I'm thrilled to find these, after spending time in Lisbon last year, it was a welcome surprise at the Droitwich food festival. You can't beat the fresh creamy taste of a hot Pastel de nata 😋🥮 Now I've found out they've got their own place in Chester, I need to get up there!!!

Imported directly from Lisbon, so can't get much better than that! They have a variety of different natas, plus coffee/tea and a little bit of seating if you'd like. I believe they're planning on offering even more yummy options too, in the future

Visited this great new Portuguese patisserie when we were last in Chester - having had cakes from these guys at various food festivals across the North West. It's a little hidden gem in Rufus Court, but it's well-worth seeking out. Has some of the best traditional natas you'll find anywhere.

I discovered this place by accident whilst in Chester and was pleasently surprised by the establishment. The natas were excellent and authentic. I took a few home to enjoy with the family.

Went looking for this little shop as it had been recommended. Wow, wow wow, the nicest Portugese tarts I've tasted in many years. Well worth the visit. £2 each, or 6 for £10. Some were plain, others had various toppings. Nice size. Great selection. Will be back.

Great little place to visit for a coffee and my favourite little tarts. My favourite has to be the biscoff. If your passing by give it a try.

The best pastel de Nata’s you’ll find in the U.K. They taste absolutely incredible! With a variety of toppings too (my fave has to be caramel, or biscoff) Love visiting them at their various events, they even do wholesale which is great if you have a restaurant or shop and are interested. The staff or super friendly, would highly recommend if they are at an event local to you head over and say hello!

I was looking for something to eat on a long train journey and was recommended Doorsteps of Handbridge. It was just over the bridge from central Chester but well worth the detour. It had an astounding range of sandwiches and baguettes on different types of bread. Everything was very fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed my Cajun chicken filling. My only quibble is that I felt the homemade cakes were not up to the high standards of the sandwich.

This is a great place. Excellent staff & and interesting wine list by the glass. We had a couple of glasses pre dinner (we were eating elsewhere). That said, they do food here eg cold plates like cheese & meats & nibbles.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal for a birthday celebration. The food was great - I had hummus as a starter and it was possibly the best I’ve ever had. We were all very happy with our food choices - there is plenty of choice and lots of GF options (my partner is coeliac). Our server was super friendly and helpful. It was quiet when we went, but I expect there’s a nice atmosphere in the evening as it’s a lovely place. Would definitely go again 😊

Amazing. Lovely tea room. Attentive staff who supplied endless tea! Sandwiches and scones delicious. Upstairs too with items for sale and other bits and bobs. Couldn't manage the stairs to look but will do so next time. Absolutely loved my 1st AT experience.
