Nando's in Trafford

Not been for a while and won’t be going back any time soon. Chicken slightly undercooked & coleslaw was tasteless but the biggest issue was the hygiene. All the clean cutlery was filthy there was food under most tables & on the top of tables and when I watched one table being cleaned the staff member just wiped it on the floor and never came came they just carried on serving . Really poor 👎

Having been to this Nandos a few times now and had no problems, always lovely and 5 stars. But twice now on delivery and a deliveroo, order was wrong and staff at restaurant did nothing about it (quite rude on phone actually), just say ring deliveroo who also do nothing about, it so was left without any food and payed for it (this is stealing in any other situ). Terrible service all round. Nandos you need to stop using deliveroo as they are an appalling company and be a bit more polite on the phone, customers can tell when you have no time or patience even if your words are not rude.. Check out Trustpilot - 85% 1 stars for deliveroo. You should not have your name associated with them.

very short staffed so had to wait nearly a hour for the table. chicken was rubbery and over cooked. chips were lovely and the coleslaw is really nice. very expensive and in my opinion overpriced.

I must be getting old but this place was like feeding time at the zoo. Kids throwing food all over the place, the table across from me actually should’ve sat on the floor to see if they could manage to get any food on the table. Food was nice to be fair although the “spicy rice” was uncle be s gold end vegetable all day long. Staff were young and a mix bag of rude to friendly. In fact the girl at the till made me feel like I was a nuisance for ordering our food. I know it’s only Nando’s and you don’t expect 5 star everything but it’s not a place we will be returning to in a hurry.

Food was fine no issues but the whole place was so dirty. Table was sticky, sofa was wet from soft drink, future wall next to our tavke had so much dust and the toiletswas disgusting. Would be really nice place if is clean.

Was really good,the chicken was cooked right and filled me up and they gave me a free butterfly chicken

Been coming here weekly recently for a cheeky friday night treat always easy to order online, nice staff on collection and tasty food. Reccommend the Halloumi sticks as a starter.

This is the first time (and last) i have tred a takeaway from Nandos, Never again altough the sides were great the Chicken was terrible it was over cooked and dry it was not cooked on a griddle it was more deep fried

As chains go, we like Nandos. This is situated on a smallish retail park between Macdonalds and KFC. There is car parking directly outside. This is not a huge restaurant, which I think is a bonus, there is enough space but it doesn't get packed out. I like the mild chicken but must admit to bring very tempted by my husband's Halloumi burger. The staff are friendly and never mind explaining how the ordering works to new visitors. You never have to wait very long to get your order taken and the service is speedy. The entire place is clean and inviting. It is not the type of place to go for a romantic 'special meal,' but if you want good food, plentiful portions at a decent price, Nandos is for you!

We called in after spending some time Chill Factore. The service and the food were ver accepatable but nothing special. It's pretty much what it says on the tin. We would use again in similar circumstances (ie post-ski) but wouldn't go out of our way to return.

A really nice meal quiter than one at Trafford centre with plenty of parking,gluten free options and staff allergen aware,loved the diet cherry coke too.

Love a good nandos, and this nandos is amazing, good location and parking, can get busy however, nice friendly staff, and the chefs know how to cook to perfection! Love the fact they do a takeout option as well, Takeout options tend to give bigger portions than eating in, however the food is still top notch Will be coming here plenty more times

My son and unlike spicy but grandma doesn't. We all loved the food. Ursula was lovely - greeted us nicely, explained the set up and process, patiently and eloquently answered a number of questions (it was our first time in nandos 😯) and made our experience all in all a good one. Thank you!!!

This has to have been the worst Nando’s we have ever had - and we’ve had a few! We had to send back the meals (2) as they were Stone cold. When they came back, they still weren’t piping hot - not good for chicken. Sorry guys, we won’t back in a hurry

Ate here today with my young son, staff were all friendly, food was very good.My son's in a high chair and not walking yet so is a bit difficult to do a lot of the self serve parts, but the gent there kindly went and got drinks refills and my son's dessert for me, which was a big help.Little things make the difference!

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, for Nandos. They were shining there for you and me, for liberty, for Nandos…. Good food, surprisingly accommodating for vegetarians. If I had to do the same again, I would, my friend....for Nandos

Food is supposed to be the same In every Nandos right? When I go to Salford quays I have brilliant food - I get the same thing every time I go. Here, my chicken has clearly been precooked a while before it touched the grills. So I had dry, burnt chicken breast. The rice was all stuck together, really dark and hard. Basically the bottom of the micro rice they use. I did complain and was brought a new portion, but it was the same, so I complained again. It was pretty embarrassing and I was made to feel like I was the issue here. All I wanted was edible rice!? My side salad was hardly a side, a few wilted leaves and a little cucumber? The manager also watched as I sent back my food twice and she could clearly tell I was disappointed but she just avoided eye contact and walked off in the opposite direction.My boyfriends glass was chipped at the rim and he asked for another at the till and some young guy aggressively answered “well you have to pay for it” - he said I just need a replacement, and he made him come back to the table and get the receipt from me to show him. It’s a bit laughable right? Just not sure what was going on in this place. Staff do what they want, say what they want and the manager just walks around looking blank and lost. Great service there guys! Thanks! Will stick to Salford quays in future. Probably could have had a more comfortable experience at the Trafford centre store even!

We ordered a takeaway for four adults and two young children. Because of the children and also the fact that I do not like very spicy food, the basic chicken was ordered. Considering the hype about Nandos, I was disappointed by the chicken which I found dry and tasteless. However, the Coleslaw, Corn on the Cob and the Chips (not Fries as described) were excellent.

This Nandos provides the best food, service and has the most helpful staff. We drive to this Nandos rather than one closer to us, as it never fails to provide an amazing service and great food.

Great food no doubt, great staff and good atmosphere.. Prices are extreme for a family of 5, with 3 kids under 11.. You get what you pay for I suppose?!

We eat at Nando's on a fairly regular basis, but tried the Urmston branch for the first time, food was good quality, served quickly and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back to this branch!

Really nice looking restaurant, with a welcoming atmosphere.The food is typical Nando's food (same in every Nando's)... however...

The food, as you’d expect with every Nando’s, was very good. We didn’t have to wait too long to be served however one of the entrance doors was broken so wouldn’t close automatically. Even after asking the staff to keep it closed I had to get up 6 times to close the door. Just put a sign on the door asking people to close it after them!! It was very cold and the staff said “we’re used to it”. Not good!!

My financee was shocked when (as a 35 year old man) I told her that I'd never been to Nando's. It just never appealed to me, 'it's just chicken, what's so special about that? I can make that at home'...is what I would always say. However after visiting (a few times now) I can safely say I am a big fan. What I like most is that this is good fresh, hearty food that is very filling with plenty of flavour and spice. My first ever visit was great, we told that staff that I was a Nando's virgin and they were very helpful with going through the menu with me and explaining how everything worked (going up to the front to order, Nando's card etc.). I was even brought out a complimentary plate of 4 chicken wings which had different levels of spice from Mild to Extremely Hot I believe, so that I could see exactly which level of spice was to my tastes. I was really impressed with this. What I like is that the chicken is flame grilled, it's a taste you cannot recreate at home (although you can buy most of their sauces and spices now in the supermarket). I am also now a huge fan of the halloumi which tastes absolutely incredible. It tastes something like rich butter on toast mixed with cream, sounds weird but it's absolutely sublime! I only have one problem with this place which is why I've not given it 5 stars. On both occasions that I've been here I have ordered the same thing. Butterfly chicken breast with medium spice, sweet potato wedges and a corn on the cob. My issue is with the corn on the cob. On both occasions my corn on the cob has been put on the plate and left until the entire remainder of the meal is cooked. Last time I was there it sat on the plate for around 13-15 minutes while my food cooked and other plates piled up around it (I kept saying to my fiancee 'that had better not be mine', but of course it was. So now on two occasions when my food has arrived the corn has been shriveled, dried out and nowhere near as hot as it should be. Of course, it was still delicious but I just felt that if the corn was cooked last it would have been so much hotter, juicier and less dried out. Overall though a nice clean restaurant with great food that is delicious while being healthy as well. Now that I've discovered what Nando's is all about I will definitely be coming back many times as I live very close by.

Good food and atmosphere after a working week. Chose half chicken with spicy rice. Delicious. Drinks on tap. Haven't tried desserts as usually got full tummy. Friendly efficient staff. Pay them a visit.

visited here now three times as convenient on the way home from work when traffic is bad for a cheeky takeaway always served efficiently and the order ready within 15 minutes which is amazing staff are great and food good quality

Food was nice and fresh, and found the staff really friendly made us feel really comfortable, even came over to see if we wanted to take the rest home what we couldn't eat, friendliest Nando's I've visited I usually feel a bit rushed but not at this one highly recommend thanks

I came yo this nandos with my mum as it's very local. We went for lunch, having never been before I knew it was simple food but was very impressed, don't get me wrong it's not some where for a 3 course lunch it's simple chicken and chips bit cooked to a high standard and very tasty. It's really reasonably priced. The soft drinks are a free refill too. Staff were attentive and polite. When I've been it's not been crazy busy so cant say what it's like at peak times but hopefully the same all in all good value and great tasty food.

Nice food and not too busy on this occasion. its not a big restaurant so can sometimes be a que, but it was empty when we went. good service and nice food, i do think nandos is a little expensive for what you actually get though. Almost 12 quid for a chicken breast with rice and peas & you have to get up and order yourself. Not too bad if only paying for yourself, but i can't take my husband as that wont fill him up and he'd spend a fortune!

Visited today for a late lunch and as usual we had a meal platters. Food was delicious as per and we were all loving it. But suddenly my son started to choke as the chicken bone was stuck in his throat. We started to panic as my son was crying. As I was tapping his back, manager on duty (Jamison) ran to our table & offered help. Luckily by then my son was ok but we were all quite shaken by this whole experience. We found Jamison so helpful & caring. He even brought ice-cream for our son. We are truly thankful to Jamison for his help today. We will definitely return soon.

We went to nando's on the 21-08-2016 and we sat down and ordered our food and started eating like 10 minutes later a waiter came over and said have you finshed your meal and we said no so he went away and came back when i went to get a drink he tried taking my plate when he could clearly see there was chicken still on the plate so one of my family members stopped him when i was away and he was rushing the rest of the family members so i will never return to this restaurant in the near futures thanks for the really !!!!!!!bad experience:( !!!!!!!

This is a welcome addition to Urmston. There are two other Nandos close by in the Trafford centre and chill factore. At least at the retail park you can get parking. The food is always good with plenty of choice apart from chicken. It's clean and fresh with good customer service.

Hit traffic on M60 so pulled off into the Trafford Retail Park ( opp side of M60 from Trafford Centre) saw the Nando's and thought it would be a good option to eat and let the traffic die down. It's a fairly new addition to this area (there is a Nando's in the the Trafford Centre) and is well laid out. The staff are really helpful.
