Have drove past this place loads of times and wondered if it was OK... but so pleased we called in...Great coffee and bacon sandwich, also friend had a sausage sandwich .. both served on lovely crusty baps. Really nice vibe with music playing softly in backgroundand friendly staff. Small Suggestions: HP brown sauce, please, and some blinds on the windows as nothing to sheild your eyes from the bright sun today. Would recommend

Cute little Portuguese owned cafe. Customer service was lovely. I got a mocha which was decent and the beetroot and avocado toast which was quite healthy and decent too. Nice spot to get away from the business of town next door or whatever you may be doing. I liked reading my book here. Would come again for a coffee and cake next time maybe.

We were surprised to find an authentic Portuguese café in the centre of Bolton. We both had a cortado coffee which was good quality and very reasonably priced at £2.50 each. They also had a delightful range of pastries baked on the premises. We were delighted to have the best pastel de nata we have ever eaten outside of Portugal.

We came in tempted by the superb reviews on here. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back. We didn’t get a good impression from staff, I can’t say there were friendly. Seats were dirty, crumbs all over, we only got one set of a cutlery. Coffee and food was ok, can’t fault it. When we finished eating we have sat another hour with our drinks and table full of empty dishes, napkins. Only approx 10 min before we left lady came to clean the table. What I need to mention, inside was absolutely boiling! It was so hot we were all sweating, it was rainy outside and so hot inside, kid had to take his shirt off because it was unbearable warm. No windows were opened. Unfortunately it wasn’t what I was expecting.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is good and the food is always delicious. Brilliant for coffee. The pasteis de nata are really worth trying.

Came in was met by a lovely worker explained the menu to me, halal options were great. Did opt for the toasted and panini was lovely. Also ordered the pancakes but wanted them hot so worker told me to give her heads up was perfect will be back again if I am in bolton

Popped in for lunch. We were the only customers but within 30 minutes the place was very busy. The menu has a good variety of options and we were not disappointed with what we had. The presentation was good. Service friendly. The Portuguese tarts that were bought to take home were 'hmmmm delicious ' ( that's a quote!). Another neat place to visit again.

I've been 3 times this week for breakfast and had a different pastry every day, all of which were warm and crispy. Couldn't fault any of them and the woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful in explaining all of the different pastries and cakes

Decent coffee there. Didn’t like the breakfast, standard cheap sausages. An Extra £1 for the egg to be poached , instead of fried or scrambled, goodness!! Sourdough needed a chisel n hammer to get through it. Warm food too. Was £26 for a breakfast and beetroot/avo toast with eggs, and 2 lattes. Very over priced for the food received.

The food was lovely but for the price I thought the portion size was small. Had eggs benedict, but only got one piece of bread and one of the eggs was a little cold. Left feeling hungry.

I really think is the best place to chill, eat and enjoy good service today in Bolton. It is very cosy with a very friendly environment and every member of the staff is Top nice and really makes us feel like home. I really recommend it and you get to tast the best savoury and cakes of Portugal . Elsa

Our first time at Th3 Guys and we were really impressed how lovely it was. The food was really tasty and so was the coffee. The atmosphere was like a coffee shop abroad and there’s some nice detail like USB adapters so you can charge up your phones whilst eating delicious food. We will definitely pay another visit x

I was wandering around Bolton to spend my free time at the weekend, suddenly I came across this little cafe and decided to go in for brunch. This is a small cafe that sells some cakes and breads in addition to coffee. I ordered a flat white, two tarts, a custard croissant and a side of fries. The pastry of the tart is very hard, not crispy at all, and the content is too sweet. The same is true for the custard croissant. The croissant is not crispy and the custard sauce is too sweet. Fries taste soft and chewy, very strange. The food cost me a total of £13.30, which I don't think is cheap at all, nor is it delicious. All in all, this cafe is not worth visiting again.

Lovely relaxed place, coffee excellent way better than Costa and Starbucks and the food spot on had a really good wrap from here best one yet we'll worth trying.

I tried the rabanada, and I've not had french toast like that anywhere else! It was so fluffy, and not too sweet! We also had to get the Pastel de Nata, and they were lovely, especially with a good sprinkle of cinnamon on top. The coffee was lovely too, and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxed.

Nice place and many items on the menu to choose to eat from. My only criticism is one, the music is far too loud and should be in the background only. They have a massive speaker on the floor and for my liking, the music is just far too loud. Secondly, some of the food on the menu is just too overpriced. I saw an English breakfast for £12. I expect to pay that price in London but not Bolton. Other than that, everything is okay.

Coffee was placed on top of the food with clingfilm on. Coffee is now empty and the food is drowning in coffee. £17 in the bin.

If I didn’t live 30 miles away this would be my go to cafe and I might still make the occasional trip. Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and the best thing to eat with a coffee in the world Pastel De Nata. Excellent, best I’ve had outside of Portugal, maybe best outside Belem, oh and my cheese and ham toastie was great too.

This place is a surprising gem in the centre of Bolton. We had lunch here and the food was delicious, service fantastic and it felt like a little haven. Pastries and breads are baked on site and the menu peppered with Portuguese dishes and specialties and they seem to have various offers on daily. The coffee is great and it was lovely to feel welcomed in the cafe. Definitely think I’ll come back regularly, can’t believe I drove past it so many times without knowing what a treasure it is.

I love this little bakery in Bolton. The Pastel de Natas are exceptional and are the real deal! There is always a selection of Portuguese cakes too which tend to change each time I visit. The staff are always so friendly and happily explain what the cake are are. The sponge on every cake I’ve tried is super soft and light and just delicious. The coffee is also very nice, just very hot.

Great little cafe in the middle of Bolton. Very cosy and modern. Good coffee and better cakes. Seriously, it's a breath of fresh air, especially in Bolton, which is not the prettiest or cosiest place to be. This cafe is almost one of a kind, coffee culture is almost non existent here. I enjoyed my capucchino and my Portuguese custard tart cake. The service is polite, helpful and prompt. It's really a lovely place to be.

Any place that stays open to help run poetry events is already scoring high in my books, but this place really is such a delight. I had my 18 month old with me, and the café is so child friendly. Spotlessly clean (my daughter seemed intent on examining every inch of the place) and with plenty of space to tuck the pram out of the way. Service was wonderful, and the Portuguese Muffins were delicious. Perfectly fluffy and sticky and just wonderful.

I went to Th3 Guys this evening for a poetry and spoken word event. What an absolutely lovely vibe! Super relaxed and calm and intimate. Pastel de nata were on point and lots of decaf and vegan food options too. Prices were very good, in fact I think my tea and pastel de nata were less than a big corporation cup of tea (You know who I'm talking about). Super friendly staff, nice modern decor and very accessible. Please support local businesses like these who pay their taxes and are just the little guys, you really won't regret it. I really loved the place, the people, the food and the prices!

I have been coming here months as recommended by Romina. Perfect service by all the staff and fantastic vegan range. In fact vegan alternatives were so good last time that I had to double check if it was even vegan. Very clean place all polite staff and great student discounts. Friendliest place, cleanest and also the best quality for price in town. Thank you for always providing a great service and welcoming everyone with kindness, it helps my anxiety especially as I'm often a solo visitor.

The Best coffee shop in Bolton.. It opens early enough in the week for me to grab a coffee and a snack on the way into work.. The decor is lovely and the coffee and cakes are amazing.

I dont know where to start. Firstly I guess to say what I ordered, I had a chicken sandwich, tomato and mozzarella toastie and (I can't remember the whole name) but the Nata custard tarts. The food was very rich and highly seasoned. For the toasties, the use of herbs on the outside of the toast was a little too liberal for me and vastly overpowered the pesto. The bread was great but I could only manage half, I would have preferred less oil tbh and maybe the tomato a little thicker to help with the richness of it. The chicken sandwich was interesting. The bread was fantastic but when ordering, I had trouble deciding on the bread and even googling didn't help. I had low expectations as 2 were described as small Portuguese rolls, I would still like to know what each is. The chicken was great but rather than it being with some sort of salad, it was with slices of cheese, which I found a little odd but after removing cheese and adding some salad, it was highly enjoyable. Finally those custard tarts. When I ordered, I felt £2.50 was rather expensive, thinking of the ones from the popular chicken place. I have always felt they could do with more custard whenever I'd had them elsewhere. These were the total opposite....soo much custard!!! They were really deep and filled to the brim with custard and I could only manage one. If I had to pick, I'd say the pastry was a little oily for me, my hands were covered in grease. Very very rich food but good. Just a little too rich for me but thats just my taste.

For a Monday it was fairly busy before noon….. had a great coffee, slice of cake and baguette which was all priced fairly n comparison to other eateries.

What a find! Had to go to Bolton today so just looked for somewhere to have breakfast - saw this place on the corner and thought we'd give it a go. Decor was really nice and the staff were lovely... But the food - oh wow! I had the beetroot/Avocado toast and it was very nice - my wife had the Banoffee Toast which was just incredible. We bought a couple of Pastel de Nata to take home and curiosity inspired my wife to buy something called a "Deer Paw". The pastel de nata were fab but the Deer Paw was an absolute revelation - spongey-custardy-cinammony-coconuty-loveliness. It's a 54 mile roundtrip to Bolton for us - but we will be back!

What an amazing place for brunch, coffee and an amazing selection of cakes!! We were served by a young women with glasses who made us feel very welcome and ensured we had a fantastic visit. When my friend asked about Halal and vegetarian options she...

Young men working in this cafe they are lovely and friendly. But reason for this rating is one staff member she does make you feel unwelcome and can see in the way she speaks to me and my friends is quite rude and no smile or friendly customer service attitude. But when listened how she speak with white customers tone of her voice and what she says is different. That we have different skin colour and we do wear Islamic garments and hijabs should not affect the service that we receive and no need to be racist. She just made it quite clear women in black abayas are not welcomed when she is working.

We have visited this coffee shop several times with my partner, when the young men are working they are friendly and deliver amazing customer service which makes you to feel welcome. But sadly that is not the case when this short haired woman is working,...
