COD HOUSE fish & chips in Bolton

Had chips tonight they were hard and disgusting to eat. Cook your chips better cod house …rang to complain as I don’t appreciate paying for food and throwing it away !! Got nowhere at all complaining appalling service ..

Very good quality food and great value.

Wasn’t very pleased with the attitude from the staff towards me.I walked in there the other day and meeted with a negative attitude.Also I have found a couple of black hairs in my fish peas chips and rice.Plus this is the first time I have ever been and it will be my last!! Wouldn’t recommend.

Entrance has a step so not wheelchair friendly. Double yellow lines immediately outside so you need to park a short walk away. Had to wait a long time to be served as there was only 1 lady serving. She was pleasant, polite and helpful. Food was lovely! Take away only.

Used this chippy when I was a kid loved it then and now I'm in my 50s I've rediscovered my favourite chippy and they are the same owners as then , great chip's , fish is gorgeous and the curry sauce is to die for, pleased do yourself a favour and use this chippy

Brilliant little chippy you always get service with a smile, there fish, chips, peas, and sausage are absolutely Delious, little bit difficult to understand the Japanese owner sometimes but I always come back.

The fish and chips are amazing big portions would recommend

11:30am to 1:30pm seems a short time to stay open until 4:30 pm I think the time should be 11.30 until 3:00pm then open again at 4:30 that I wouldn't keep missing out on these lovely fish chips.

Normally great value but unfortunately was cold and threw in bin.prob won't be back which is disappointing

the salt and pepper chicken nuggets and chips combo is amazing and really good fish and chips too! the servers are also really friendly and nice :)
