The Royal Cafe in Bolton

Had the best time at The Tavern for my Nan’s surprise party! It was a bit of a last-minute booking but nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to Karin who went above and beyond to help us get everything sorted. All the staff were so lovely—Kelly stayed right through the night and was an absolute star helping us out with anything we needed. Loved that we could decorate the room ourselves and weren’t tied into using catering like most venues in Horwich (though they offer plenty if you want it, with zero pressure). The room was spotless, looked great, and it was fab having the space all to ourselves. The open mic host even stuck around to do a couple of songs which was a really nice touch. Felt so welcomed from start to finish—would 100% recommend for any event and will happily be going back just for a night out

I had an amazing experience at Beefalo Meat House and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The first thing that stood out was the warm, welcoming atmosphere – the place was clean, stylish, and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxed meal out. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Everything felt fair and well worth it, especially considering the portions and taste. You can really tell they care about the quality of their meat and how it's prepared. What truly made the evening special, though, was the outstanding customer service. Katrina and Alisha were our servers, and they were both absolutely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made sure we were well taken care of without being intrusive, and their upbeat attitudes added to the overall great vibe of the place. If you're looking for a spot with delicious food, fair prices, and top-notch service, Beefalo Meat House is it. This was my 2nd time going and I’ll definitely be back again!

Had chips tonight they were hard and disgusting to eat. Cook your chips better cod house …rang to complain as I don’t appreciate paying for food and throwing it away !! Got nowhere at all complaining appalling service ..
