Absolute Bar & Bistro in Bolton

Orderd what was supposed to be a Sunday roast. Cauli cheese was like water, gravy was the same and tastless, veg was hard and had a strange taste and meat was very fatty and soggy, after 2 bites it got binned.

Stunning lunch out. Roast chicken dinner was amazing. Never had sweet potato mash like that before. Daughters enjoyed their tapas. Beautiful food, great music of which gives a fab atmosphere. Great place to eat and enjoy family time. Paige has been fab. Thank you 😊

Absolutely not as advertised, ordered avocado on toast not as in picture it came on 1 slice of normal toasted bread no chilli flakes and they charged £8.50 , daughter ordered vegan breakfast they forgot the hallumi, also order scrambled egg for the 2yr old they put garlic in it, also ordered eggs florentine all that tasted of was garlic and to top it off we waited 50 minutes for our food least to say won't be goin bak

Came for Sunday dinner with my partner and step son, hands down one of the best Sunday dinners we've ever had. All our plates were clear and all of us only had good things to say about the food! More than enough to fill anyone falling down with hunger and for the price of the meal, the quality of the food and ingredients far outweigh the cost. Will most definitely be back and can't recommend this place enough!

We went here for a Sunday Roast after a recommendation from friends. It did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely delicious….perfectly cooked veg and meat, home made Yorkshire pudding and the gravy is amazing. Served by Lillie who was really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back, I can’t believe this has been on my doorstep for so long and we’ve never been to eat there before, it really was delicious.

Thankyou very much for accommodating a large group booking today. We all had a fab time - loved the atmosphere and loved all of the food. The tapas are great with a wide selection of choices and cuisine, and the roast dinners are delicious. Thankyou again!

Really nice place. Food is up there with any top city restaurant. And in tapas style. All places should be tapas style. And great music with a dj later on. Seemed like an older educated crowd. That wants good honest food with a great atmosphere and cocktails. Definitely recommend

Called in just to have a drink as I've heard that they do amazing cocktails. We ended up spending the whole evening there. The food was really good and there was a singer on too. We will definitely go back for more

Ordered breakfast via Uber eats. French toast was more french bread. Smashed avo was a black colour not a fresh green, was supposed to come on seeded toast but came on white bread (not toasted) poached eggs had literally no egg white with them. Paid £2 for extra bacon and got 1 little scabby rasher. Would not order again.

What a gem of a find! We came across this little bar and bistro in the heart of Westhoughton. We tried a range of tapas from different cuisines and we loved them all. Special mention for cauliflower pakoras and salt and pepper fries. We also enjoyed the DJ who provided a nice vibe all evening! 5* Tapas and service👌

Lovely bottomless brunch, food was tasty and well presented. The drinks were topped up frequently. All in all a great afternoon thanks to John and the lovely Mia who was the prefect hostess.

Absolute gem in the middle of Westhoughton. The minute we walked in we were made to feel super welcome and our drinks order was taken straight away and brought over to our table. The owner couldn’t have been more attentive. We ordered several tapas dishes which were absolutely insane, can’t wait to go back and try more. Would whole heartedly recommend!

Ist time visiting this week, went on Wednesday meeting friends. What a treat, its a lovely place, a nice addition to Westhoughton. The food was absolutely gorgeous, we had the Tapas mid week special, my favourite were the Gambas Pil Pil and the Chicken and Spinach. John was very friendly and helpful with the menu. It was quiet as it was a Wednesday but I am sure that as more great reviews go out that this place is going to be very busy every night. See you soon.

This is our local and we simply love the Tapas menu. The food is delicious, in particular you must try the Cauliflower veggi dish, a must try which I promise you’ll go back for more. Food is served quickly and hot with decent sized portions....

Very nice little bar, can be really noisy when busy and on a cold night the door constantly opening and closing can make it a cold environment. I haven't yet tried the food, but it smells and looks excellent. Staff are friendly and it's very clean.

Tapas selection was lovely everything was yummy and a credit to the chef and team! Really fairly priced and a good atmosphere for food and drinks! We asked the staff what they would recommend for sharing and they suggested 2 or 3 plates each, 2 each was deffinatly enough but the menu tempted us back to order another plate each!
