Beefalo Meat House in Bolton

I had an amazing experience at Beefalo Meat House and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The first thing that stood out was the warm, welcoming atmosphere – the place was clean, stylish, and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxed meal out. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Everything felt fair and well worth it, especially considering the portions and taste. You can really tell they care about the quality of their meat and how it's prepared. What truly made the evening special, though, was the outstanding customer service. Katrina and Alisha were our servers, and they were both absolutely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made sure we were well taken care of without being intrusive, and their upbeat attitudes added to the overall great vibe of the place. If you're looking for a spot with delicious food, fair prices, and top-notch service, Beefalo Meat House is it. This was my 2nd time going and I’ll definitely be back again!

Turned up as a walk-in with Dad for an impromptu meal having driven by and we absolutely loved the food in here, every course was delicious. Service with a smile from Katerina and Alicia who were helpful, knowledgeable and attentive! Recommended and I for one, hope to be back again soon!!

Meat was not cooked as requested, staff were too interested in taking pics/vids of my food for themselves, milkshake tasted like milk/cream with no thickness (replaced but still not as expected), waiter was very hasty, we couldn’t understand him and vice versa. Only positive was booking which was easy but there’s a reason why this place was quiet. Lots of better alternatives in bolton/manchester. To top it off, son was sick on premises and later on at home. Wasn’t in frame of mind to complain on site as we just wanted to leave. Ps I don’t complain much about food but when paying a premium I expect a lot better.

Food was delicious but the venue is tired and in need of an update. Quite expensive. Atmosphere wasn’t great due to being so quiet.

Absolutely loved our experience at Beefalo! The food was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care — we enjoyed every bite. What really set this place apart, though, was the outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. As someone with coeliac disease, I was so impressed by how seriously they took my dietary needs. They were more than happy to adjust certain dishes to ensure they were completely gluten-free, and I felt completely safe and looked after the entire time. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets both the food and service so right — we’ll definitely be back!

Awful greasy food, way too overpriced, DONT GO!

A very disappointed experience after reading some good reviews I thought this would love upyo expectations. Ordered the King Platter and the food came out cold. Steak was cold the potatoes and chicken were cold. Informed the waiter who apologized. A few moments later the food has come out again and was not what I expected. They had microwaved the potatoes & chicken and the steak was slightly better than frozen but no where near what was expected. There was only around 4 tables occupied at the time so it was not like they were busy. Just lazy. The customer service was terrible. Everyone was avoiding being spoken to rather than engaging with customers so we're unable to order drinks. At the end I explained that the food was poor and the customer service even worse. I was given an apology and told that they had a new chef and that may have contributed to terrible food. Will not go again. Avoid.

As our first visit to Beefalo, my family and I were incredibly impressed with the overall quality and service here. Everything was wonderful; the food, the service, the background etc. The ambience was decorative and welcoming, with stunning light displays and simple floral decorations which gave the impression of a great restaurant at first glance. The waiters/waitresses were speedy and polite, and the food was served swiftly. The food itself, however, was delicious and exceptional; with a wide range of mouth-watering dishes including rib-eye steak, cheesy garlic bread, meze, salads and more. The beverages were also refreshing, such as the Turkish tea and the sweet fruity mocktails. Overall, our opinion of Beefalo is very positive and we plan on visiting again, so we give it a 5-star rating.

Great looking place amazing vibes and most importantly couldn't ask for a better made steak, creamy potato and side sauces with were amazing! Can't wait to get back there again!

We were very much looking forward to our meal. The overall setting is lovely. Our starters arrived and two had to be sent back as they were cold not helped by being served on cold plates. The mains were ok but again one had to be sent back as it was cold. Again plates were cold. The vegetables were over cooked and at best just warm. We ordered two desserts and one had been finished by the time someone came back to tell us there was no cheesecake which was put on our bill anyway! We felt that the staff were not really bothered by our complaints. Overall very disappointing as two of the guests had been twice before and old us it was very good.

Berat(one of the waiter) was such a wonderful person, it was our first time here at the restaurant and didn’t know what to order but he was patient with us and helped us decide and very friendly and jolly manner. He was a fun guy . He made our experience better! .

We enjoyed our medium rare steak (very juicy- yum)and chicken wings as our main . We had some hummus and olives for starters. Cosy, family friendly atmosphere. Bernard was Super too, he even offered us us some Turkish tea afterwards.

Absolutely shocked to find out they only serve Halal meat, Kosher is a Jewish for of slaughter where the neck is cut but crucially the spinal cord is cut too so the animal bleeds out with a little pain as possible. Halal involves the throat being cut but crucially the Spinal Cord is not cut so the animal suffers as much pain as possible as Muslims believe the pain the animal endures causes endorphins to be released “making the meat taste better.” I did not see the Halal logo on their website anywhere. I realised this restaurant was Muslim owned as there was no alcohol on the menu I am pleased to have found out before eating there. Stay away

I came here for lunch, nice presentable place. I ordered salmon and fries with jackets. The person showing us our table and taking our order was nice and polite, and the food was spot on for me! The other half ordered a steak, now she is fussy, and she said it was delicious, she likes hers rare. So no complaints about this place.

Went with the family for the first time. The service was fantastic and the food even better. We ordered the Locme and Fillet Mignon both were cooked to perfection with great skin on fries. A beautiful building staged an ambient establishment is definitely worth trying.

Our first visit was on New Year's Eve. The service was a bit slow to start but soon picked up. It's a family friendly restaurant. I had the spicy ezme starter, which was very nice, followed by fillet mignon, which was so tender, a side of creamy mushrooms, which were delicious and asparagus Dessert was pistachio baklava with vanilla ice cream, so light that even if you are full you can still manage it. We are so glad we tried it and will certainly visit again.

Had an excellent experience. The meat was tender and the hot mezze platter was out class! The service was wonderful as well.

Nice decor and staff but let down by the food. starters very small portions and overpriced. The steak cooked well but no sides with it. you would expect a sauce and veg with mash or chips. pulled rib was too salty and again comes with no sided. you can get a lot more on your plate for similar prices per head elsewhere.

I had an incredible dining experience at Beefalo! The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Food was delicious and top quality food. Staff were lovely and non-pushy. Atmosphere was nice and un-claustrophobic. The must trys are: the lokum steak (medium to well) with the creamy potatoes and mix veg along with the apple & raspberry mojito. For dessert, the pistachio baklava with ice cream and turkish coffee. Definitely would recommend!

An early dinner with the family , It was quiet early evening tea time , but staff made the place seem busy/lively with some great music . The partitions within the restaurant help to make the space seem more intimate . The waiter was lovely and made every effort to ensure dietary requirements were met - no cheese/dairy in some dishes that would normally have them but still delicious . The drinks are lovely non alcoholic mocktails and home made lemonade bring your own spirits or beer etc if you fancy . There was not one piece of poor quality meat on the platters everything was beautifully prepared and cooked . Not a huge meat eater myself there was sufficient Turkish /middle eastern veggies and pulse dishes to enjoy alongside the meats . This place would be booked weeks in advance if it was in central Manchester . A gem worth visiting for all sorts of events . The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the meats and service compared to local "pub grub" steaks and meat dishes.
