The best restaurants serving Portuguese food in England

My wife and daughter went to Mimosa today, as they always do when in Kingston. The panini, the wines and the coffees are excellent and great value. I used to stop at Mimosa when I stopped for food and coffee after a long Sunday morning bike ride. Unfortunately I can’t cycle any more but I’ll still go to Mimosa when I’m Christmas shopping. It’s a gem.

Brilliant food, good service and reasonable. The beef kebab was to die for but all the food was good.

Had a great meal here early evening today with my grandchildren. Tasty, well cooked, homemade coleslaw ( not the usual industrial tasteless stuff - believe me, I'm an expert) and divine chips! Super service, great value too as one child eats free with a full paying adult. All very tasty and we will be going again!

Fantastic tarts. Got a 6-pack of the classic flavour in the market at York. So good. Best I've had outside of Portugal. Chap serving was very friendly. Highly recommend.

We came across Manny's by chance during a trip from the mainland - and we're very glad we did. We stopped for coffee and also had one of the amazing Portuguese Custard Tarts - absolutely delicious and so moreish. We returned for lunch and the baguettes we had were perfect - so tasty and full of flavour. Manny and the young boy he had helping him on the day were both so friendly and polite. We will definitely be returning next time we're in Cowes.

I've only ever popped in for a coffee and a cheese scone but have found both to be excellent. The staff are wonderful and always smiling and courteous. I hope to make time to pop in for something more adventurous soon. Would highly recommend a visit if you've not been already.

I came here after 5 years. English breakfast is still the best quality. I prefer to visit this place for everyone :)

Saw and heard about the restaurant and as we are missing Porto we had to give it a try. It was beyond our expectations - impressive menus wonderful food and service. i was set on the Francesinha but was advised to have a traditional sea food dish which was incredible so i was extremely grateful for the advise! The little touches too were very much appreciated- we can’t wait to return

Must try peri peri chicken Rice in mild. So juicy and flavourful personally find that it’s way better than Pepe’s. Can also make it a meal and the portion is super filling by itself. 10/10 if you can handle a bit of spice.

Food I had was quite authentic (but not salty enough). Prices seem quite high for a cafe in scruffy Feltham. Service was excellent from the young Sikh girl (but I was the only one there!!)

Walk in , greeted and sat down , looked around and see a lot of character and great ambience , and then , I looked at the menu and just went backwards in joy ! Couldn't really make up my mind as just everything in it looked so mouth watering ...and it was , every little bit so well cooked by the Goan Chef , that you can taste every spice , every flavor . Don't just read this , give it a go . You will not regret it !

Después de haber vivido en la zona toda mi vida, me sorprendió que esta fuera mi primera vez visitando Mad Coffee Bar. Habiendo pasado siempre por delante, ahora entrando, me di cuenta de cuánto espacio hay en la parte de atrás! Es un lugar pequeño y acogedor con un ambiente relajado y agradable. Desde el momento en que entramos, el personal nos hizo sentir como en casa, recibiéndonos con sonrisas cálidas y un gran servicio. Mi esposa y yo decidimos ir a desayunar, y ambos estábamos impresionados por la rapidez con que llegó nuestra comida. Me gustó especialmente el tocino, que tenía un gran sabor ahumado y se asó a la parrilla en lugar de frito, dándole un buen toque crujiente sin ser demasiado grasoso. El plato de mi esposa era igualmente agradable, y todo estaba bien preparado y fresco. Para colmo, pedí un batido, que era sabroso y refrescante, lo que lo convierte en un complemento perfecto para la comida. Mad Café es un pequeño gran lugar para un desayuno relajado o brunch, y sin duda volveré. Es una excelente opción para cualquiera en la zona que busque una cafetería amigable con buena comida y servicio rápido.
