The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Portuguese food

I visited this restaurant as a casual pop in walking up to the train station, I was pleasantly surprised by a family run business. Which I found amazing as it’s not too common in london! The food was good and the facilities are clean. I live not too far away in Streatham and will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for being so welcoming, thoroughly enjoyed my time.

En general, muy buena comida. En particular, las gambas al ajo son increíbles, si prueba este lugar, asegúrese de ordenar las gambas! Y también un grito para el hachís de bacalao salado, muy buena comida. La selección de vinos también es muy buena , y el restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable con asientos «En el mostrador». Otro punto álgido fue el pastelito Pasteis de Nata simple pero tan efectivo para el desierto, con un encantador helado de canela. Una vez más, un must try. La única desventaja importante para mí, y la razón por la que no tiene 5 estrellas, es que uno de los platos que pedimos fue el arroz de pato y chorizo. Simplemente no funciona. Sabor muy limitado y poco de qué gritar, llegaría a decir que es soso. El restaurante tiene que reconsiderar este plato. No se hizo ninguna queja ya que admiro el intento de creatividad pero no funciona.

Walk in , greeted and sat down , looked around and see a lot of character and great ambience , and then , I looked at the menu and just went backwards in joy ! Couldn't really make up my mind as just everything in it looked so mouth watering ...and it was , every little bit so well cooked by the Goan Chef , that you can taste every spice , every flavor . Don't just read this , give it a go . You will not regret it !

My family/family friends and I have used MAD for as many years as I can remember and the quality of welcome, food and service never waivers, it’s just pure excellence. Sandrina and her staff always do their utmost to give you the very best experience and welcome, second to none. Highly recommend, The proof is this place hardly ever has a quiet period! People use it once and 99.9% of the time, they’re are hooked and return time after time!!! As near to perfect as you'll ever get!!!

The food is great, but don't expect anything too fancy. Good old fashioned Portuguese menu. The only issue is, service is very slow and the food took a long time to come out. But we can forgive that because the atmosphere and food is so good.

The best authentic Portuguese piri piri chicken! It's just as good as what we get at home in Portugal....staff are really friendly.

Service was poor. Drinks overpriced (acceptable). Food quality, mediocre. Eg: chicken soup £8.50. Are they serious ??? Meat was tough.

I really enjoyed this little indépendant café, nice staff, good food and a bit of parking.

Had a great meal here , but their racist (asian) they treat the White's WAYYY better. They don't treat everyone in the same way. I recommend you guys to treat everyone the same way,at last we pay the same

Food was delicious and brought promptly. The waitress Veronica was especially lovely.

Loved how fast everything was served, chicken was wonderful. Nothing to complain.

Have had multiple nandos in the location and have always been happy with the food and service. My brother is particularly fussy when I come to his food but has never had a problem here and has always commented on how kind the staff are and how accommodating they are to his particular needs. I would rate this place 6 stars and will definitely be returning when I next get the chance. The chicken is brilliant and the rice is a must!

Environment is amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is fine but dessert was delicious
