Service was poor. Drinks overpriced (acceptable). Food quality, mediocre. Eg: chicken soup £8.50. Are they serious ??? Meat was tough.

An impromptu lunch. We had clams and pork cubes as starters. Very generous portions that left us worried about being able to eat our pork bifana main course. This was also very generous. Washed down with a couple of pints of Super Bock lager. If you haven't tasted Bock before then you are missing out. The food was delicious. The service very friendly and attentive. Always a pleasure to eat here Al Fresco.

Wide range of different dishes with loads of options for meat and fish. Good tapas selection available too and at a very reasonable price.

This is one of the best portuguese restaurants that i've been in UK. If you like traditional portuguese food this is the place to go. The space is not very big but the relation quality/price is fine and the food very tasty.

Good Portuguese food. Always use the take away to eat the same specialities that I can't do at home. Good average price.

This is a great little family run place. Extremely good value.. this is not haute cuisine but traditional home cooked Portuguese food, served generously with a very warm welcome. Go on a Sunday for lunch for a fixed price menu with normally just 2 options but always tasty, could be a meat stew or a seafood risotto. Never managed to finish a whole plate and the beer on tap, Super Bock, is excellent. Good meal and a pint for less than £10 per person. Very friendly hosts. A real pleasure to visit and always packed with Portuguese speaking locals.. well worth a visit.. it feels like you're abroad.

This café is a family own restaurant with excellent food and drink. It is a popular place for people from Portugal to come to - for a meal, coffee or a drink. They show most of the Portuguese sporting events. Child friendly. All the staff are friendly and welcoming - speaking both Portuguese and English.

Me and my colleagues have been searching for a good lunch in Swindon for months now, and it's safe to say that Luso cafe has come out on top. Authentic Portuguese dishes, vibrant atmosphere and great value for money. A true hidden gem in Swindon...

Dropped in for a cup of coffee whilst shopping. I thought it was only a coffee shop but was delighted to find an extensive Portuguese lunch & dinner menu. This was my first visit but it certainly won't be the last - had the most delicious custard tart - definitely want to go back to sample more of their menu. Friendly with good old fashioned customer service.

The Olive Tree has moved from Cheney Manor to the Toomer’s Garden Centre in Stone Lane, Lydiard Millicent. It is quite small but lovely. Great coffee and prices and sufficient food choices to suit many. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely go again.

Today I was taken here for lunch, by a very elderly couple. Two of us ordered fish and chips. One looked okay, but mine should never have left the kitchen. It was immediately obvious that there was almost no fish, as it was very, very thin. Grossly overcooked, when I gingerly cut into it, the rock-hard batter flew onto the table. I shovelled this back onto the plate, once I had rescued what I could. Under different circumstances, this plate would have been returned before even touching it. As their guest, I did not want to possibly embarrass them . Truly dreadful, chips overcooked to dark brown as well. Horrendous meal.

Really lovely bar and vibe but service is so slow. We were a group of 8 and by the time the last drunk came out people had finished their first. Don't get me wrong the drinks are lovely but service needs to be overhauled. Takes far too long.....
