Very nice food, service is quality, take very good care customers.

The food was amazing. I love starter a lot.

As soon as you spot the excessive tomatoes in a dish you know you have a problem. We very rarely order Indian food for obvious reasons as I’m a chef. And I hate to be writing this review but I did call the manager and he really had no interest in fixing this. We paid almost £12 for this Prawn Balti dish. Come on Mela - do better please. It became a spot the prawn competition.

We came for an impromptu dinner on a weekday and was greeted by very friendly waiters. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We had veg platter starters, chicken 65, tandoori mixed grill, Chana, chicken curry and paratha. We probably over ordered but we still ate it all! We even got to speak to chef who was nice. Toilets were clean. Parking nearby so good location. Thanks very much !

Food is very tasty, I like the lay out of the menu. The best naan bread in Swindon. Service is friendly and discreet, the only thing that could do with a little work is the atmosphere. This can’t be helped if there are few tables but music etc could be a tad louder and more consistent. Over all nice experience.

Beautiful food. Walked in and got a table. Food was lovely. Portions bigger than I expected with 4 vegetable pakora and lots of chicken in my curry with a good sized naan. The service was good, they checked that everything was OK but didn't keep bugging me which was great.

We hadn't been here for a while but saw they were advertising a new menu. We didn't try anything new but what we ordered was delicious. The service was great and all reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Not an Indian restaurant, it’s a Bangladeshi restaurant. Had the worst ever Aloo paratha here. There was literally no aloo ( potatoes) in the Aloo paratha. We also ordered Paneer butter masala & Mushroom jalfrezi and the taste was below standard . Not sure if all the reviews are genuine. Only Tandoori roti was good .

My family and I have been here since it's opening. It has been a great experience every time. Their food and service is Excellent. The ambiance is also very welcoming and charming. Their Staffs are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. I have to say, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Considering the quality, the price is quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

One of the best curry’s I’ve had in Swindon recently, far far above your stock food - good sized portions and staff happy to do the take home bit if it’s a bit too much. Chef often comes into the Resturant to see if you’re happy . Definitely coming back and would recommend Jason - Old town resident

Food was so tasty and flavours out of this world. Would definitely come again. Had a Naga and would have preferred it hotter and my wife had a Chakmai that was too hot. So ‘heat’ a bit awry tonight, but taste and quality was spot on.

We attended the Mela which is now under new management for a birthday party. We were a large table of 18. The staff were polite and really nice to the kids. They helped us find two extra seats when there was a mix up with the booking. They were expecting 16 of us. The food was delicious. Maybe the one of the tastiest dishes I have tried from an Indian restaurant. The garlic naan bread was lovely too, full of flavour. Drink service was fast and the food came out with good spaces in between each course. From the 18 of us.. There was not one complaint or issue. That's a tricky skill for any restaurant. 😊
