Amazing food, lovely fish, good service. Had the salmon a few times, nicely cooked, healthy stuff. Meat options are good too.

We have been again at this modest looking restaurant. However the service was friendly and the food, fish, dorada?, very nice presented and tasteful!

The menu is filled with yummy seafood selection one better than the other, the service left me a tad annoyed but it didn't ruin my experience.

We had a booking for a Saturday evening meal and when we turned up on the day, we were stopped at the door by one of the waiters saying to us: "we have a party tonight, you can't possibly have a booking". We reassured him we had and he repeated the same thing. Turned off by such rude manners we asked to speak to the manager and he showed the same rudeness saying: "this is my restaurant I do what I want, come back another time for a meal". No apologies from him about the fact that we came all the way there with a booking to be refused entry... nothing... Wow, we've seen rude and unprofessional people before, but this restaurant reaches new levels !!!

Just had a fantastic meal here. Food was amazing and the service was so friendly. My wife and had prawns to start with then lamb cutlets/skewer of mixed meat. Could hardly move after that but managed the delicious desserts.

Top quality Portuguese seafood and grilled meat restaurant. Very affordable prices. Friendly service by processional waiters. Excellent homemade desserts. Huge range of Portuguese wines and port. Popular at the weekend with the local Portuguese community. They usually have a band for dancing. A great venue if you are a big group or for a special celebration.

Dinner with my husband. I walked in alone as husband was parking the car. The waiter asked if I had Groupon I said yes and hsve a table booked at 6pm. I noticed the restaurant was empty but vould see they were getting the restsurant ready for a large birthday party.Waiter said we are too busy and fully booked. I said my husband is parking the car he has the voucher and made the booking talk to him. I sat down and was angry that we came all this way to be turned away. My husband spoke to them and they said they were busy but we must finish our food by 8pm. We are fast esters so not a problem. Ordered 3 courses food was hot and tasty and was we'll presented. Waiter were attentive courses can quickly and enjoyed the good food. Groupon voucher users BEWARE

The outside look of this Restaurant is no very welcoming but inside is totally different. Nice open place lovely decorated. On arrival we were served complimentary olives, bread and butter, what a nice welcoming! Food is nice and fresh, I wouldn't say top but enjoyable and big portions. Service is very good, attentive friendly waitresses. The place on Saturdays has got live music, can be a little loud but very entertaining as people stand up to dance. Large variety of desserts and cheap spirits. I will definitely recommend this place and go back again.

At the beginning of April I received a Groupon voucher for my birthday which was on the 9th of April. I rang immediately to book a table for my birthday but couldn't get an answer so I hung up. I tried again later and left a message with my phone number. I never got a message in return. So I tried again later. No reply. I rang back a few days later and somebody answered but they didn't seem to hear me or understand properly so hung up on me. I rang again later but got no reply. My Mrs rang a day after and was told that the 9th of April was fully booked. Never mind I thought. We will try the weekend after. The weekend after was a Bank Holiday, Easter. 'Fully booked' they were. Ok, fair enough we can try another time. We couldn't go the next weekend either, 22/23. ''What on earth is going on here'' I thought? I found out last Friday. On Friday 28/4/2017, myself and my Mrs decided to just go there to see if we could get a table for two. We live in Willesden, North West London, so it was a fair trek to get there to Clapham! We arrived at 5:45pm and the place was empty. We were told by a waiter that they open at 6pm Ok, we will wait. A waiter approached us and asked if we had a booking? We said no but we had a Groupon voucher. He answered: 'We have cancelled these vouchers.' We asked him why but he didn't seem to care, just shrugged his shoulders and told us to ring Groupon to get our money back. I asked: 'Who cancelled the Groupon vouchers?' 'You' he replied. 'No, I mean your company/restaurant cancelled the voucher?' 'You ring Groupon, get your money back' he said with a look on his face that didn't care. Make of that what you will! And that was it folks. Our experience of this terrible place was this. Terrible customer service and we were shown the door. It was plain that they could not be doing well with the Groupon vouchers (probably lost money) so decided to cancel it. It was plain to me then why we had such short shrift on the phone when we mentioned the Groupon vouchers and we tried to book. They should have just told us by phone thus saving us a journey but obviously didn't understand English. None of them were interested about what was happening. Nobody seemed to care. No-one wanted the hassle. My advice is: if you have a Groupon voucher, don't bother wasting your time going there! Or going there if you do have one! P.s. On the Friday we ended up going to an old pub next to Oval tube station and having Tapas, wine and a Reggae DJ anyway! What a great time we had there but had a LONG way back to Willesden!

My first time at the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff and attentive. The restaurant has charcoal grill (You can see it as it's sort of a show kitchen there) and the meat we had (Lamb cutlets and beef skewer) were perfectly cooked and of good quality. Really tender. Normally the prices would be about GBP15 for a main course (the portions are big, so worth it), but we had a voucher. The starter of King prawns and Tiger prawns were delicious too. All around very good and I would go back again.

Just had a great value meal with a groupon deal food was so fresh and delicious. Portions more than generous and staff very friendly and service was a refreshing. Did enjoy the meal from start to finish happy to go back for seconds!!!

The dishes in village restaurant was big enough for a big man. They mainly serve bbq fishes and meats.Good taste with not too salty. The service was good too.

We purchased a Groupon Deal - 2 courses and a drink for 2 people for £20. The service was excellent from the beginning to the end. We received bread, olives and butter which we did not know are complimentary. We asked for tap water, in the end we were told it was mineral water, and charged £3 for a bottle. The hot starters were very nice, grilled king prawns and octopus, and for mains, nice presented and tasteful grilled file of sea bass. It was a lot of grilled fish, and we asked for a doggy bag. The service was excellent, friendly staff! Concluding , value for money with the Groupon voucher!
