Nando's Ely in East Cambridgeshire

Came here for dinner one evening while I was working in the area. The food was good. The staff were friendly and polite. I would eat here again.

Went to celebrate a birthday with a party of eight, manager and staff were very attentive and explained how to use the menu and the app. Food arrived in a timely manner and was very tasty and hot. We had taken a birthday cake with us that the staff bought out with candles lit and sang along with us. Cost was very good and reflected the meal. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

All staff were really helpful and lovely. Manager came out to speak to me about my gluten allergy and what I could and couldn’t have from the menu. Enjoyed halloumi and chilli jam and chips.

Chicken was very very dry, think it was warmed up I had to sent back. Wonder if chef was distracted . The waiter was excellent though name is Jake. I'll give him 5* rating.

Very flavorful, good service, and great takeaway options. There is also delivery when they can find people.

Arrived about 8.15 pm, only 12 people in restaurant but when food ordered was told it would be a 15 minute wait,, however 20 minutes later our food was sat on the counter for about 8 minutes minus the garlic bread side,, then the bread was put on and the bell was rang,, however 6 more minutes passed and food still sitting there, so my wife went and got it herself ….. next time we will go elsewhere

We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Menu was explained to us and where to order our food. Food was served piping hot and a generous portion. Highly recommend if you have a family.

Best staff in a Nandos chain I have ever come across. The managers I think run a tight ship (not in a bad way) and I consistently get phenomenal customer service from this Nandos. Just want to say good job and it's always a pleasure dining here.

We Had a lovely warm welcome, the food was lovely and the manager took time to speak to us about the sauces and how the chilli's were grown. Excellent service

We visited here for a date night before going to the cinema. Upon arrival easy to scan QR code for the virtual queue, within a few minutes a waiter came to the door saying my name and table was ready. The table was very clean, easy to order via the app, quick with our drinks and food. The food was fresh, hot and delicous. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive to refill our drinks, asked if our food was ok and offered condiments. The dessert took a while as it got lost in the system however it was rectified quickly and a complimentry nata was given. The atmosphere was great, we will deffinitely be re visiting.

First time visiting this Nando's and we was very welcomed and treated with such a warm customer service by José.

Tried the takeaway service out for the first time last weekend - overall, the peri-peri Chicken is the highlight and was nice, but everything else was a bit average (aka ready-meal standards), and they forgot to put something I had paid for in the order for which I'm yet to receive a refund or response. The restaurant was a bit on the chaotic side when collecting the takeaway so this is perhaps not surprising that they forgot something - they seemed to have 2 or 3 people doing the same task but not communicating well at all. Overall - a disappointing experience and not sure the takeaway service is worth it, I won't be inclined to do it again in a hurry.

My daughter picked our weekly treat to be Nando’s. We ordered a boneless sharing platter for 2. We collected it and drive 5 minutes home with it. It was still piping hot. The chicken was moist, not dry at all. The sides were tasty it was actually such a huge portion that I wasted half of mine. Only because I simply couldn’t eat it all. I’ve k my ever eaten once here before and that was in the restaurant before the first lockdown. And again couldn’t fault the food we received then either. The only bad thing I have to say was the bread roll we ordered that cost £1 each. I don’t know if it had been defrosted too quickly or just not fresh but I couldn’t eat it as it was hard and tasted stale and not fresh at all. That’s all I can fault with our meal. We will get another takeaway from here as there are few decent eateries in Ely atm and we enjoyed our meal, although could have fed 4 not 2 😂
