We stumbled upon Block Pizza while walking through York city center, and it turned out to be a great find! The pizza was absolutely amazing, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The service was excellent too, friendly and efficient. If you're in York and craving a great pizza, totally recommend this place! 🍕🔥

Great beer selection, very friendly & helpful staff.

I had a very poor experience during my recent visit. The table was dirty when we arrived, and the service was practically non-existent. Our food order was incorrect twice, and it took an unreasonably long time to prepare just two simple meals. To make things worse, the waffles on the afternoon tea for two were hard as bricks—completely inedible. No spoons were provided with our tea and coffee, which added to the frustration. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I hope the management addresses these issues to improve their service.

Best breakfast in York. 10/10 for the Bobbins Breakfast, 10/10 for the Ruben Bagel, 10/10 for the Bacon Egg and Cheese. Good quality fresh food and excellent portion sizes.

Wrong order delivered. Not according to specifications

Awful, I will never order again. I have ordered a pepperoni pizza and chips with a pot of mayo. The pizza was greasy and had thick chunks of meat instead of pepperoni. I had to bin it after having few slices, it was disgusting. The mayo was liquid - horrible.

Not ordered In a while always loved. Tried chicken Parma no seasons or flavour of bechamel sauce. Pizza had so little tomato base and cheese on top That they’ve missed the memo of a take away treat

I’ve been buying chicken kebabs and pizza here for twenty years and tonight my order arrived with no chilli since and no garlic sauce. Apparently you have to order it separately now. I won’t be ordering again.it didn’t even give me the option! Update ordered a pizza last night which was covered in sweetcorn which I am allergic to. Bearing in mind they don’t answer the phone and the reply says to reach out on Facebook this is the response!

Booked for lunch here and were met by a waiter at the door. He was wearing a face mask but when he spoke we couldn’t understand anything he said other than the word “pizza”!! He then started to lead us to a table but we asked him to repeat what he had said. This time we understood “no pizza”. We had to confirm a further two or three times that he meant there was no pizza available, which eventually he did. He spoke so fast and with such a strong accent that it was impossible to tell what he said. He obviously assumed that we didn’t like pizza as he was intent on showing us to our table - wrong! An Italian restaurant that doesn’t have pizza - never heard of this before - useless. Oh, and thanks for sending me and our 4 year in the total wrong direction for your toilet!! Spite or incompetence?! We walked to Bella Italia and understood everything the waitress said and had a great meal including pizza!!!
