Excellent pizza enjoyed the coleslaw chips and onion rings and cheesecake too and delivery was prompt too by a nice lady

Is this place under new management or something? The Mixed wraps used to be huge and great value for money. Used to leave many.gokd reviews. Now they're small and twice as expensive. Asked for a large mixed wrap like they used to be in exchange for multiple good reviews. Received an average small one again. What management doesn't take a customer up on that offer? No good reviews for you...🤷🏻

The most recent time a few friends and I walked down to order directly from the shop and spent just over £10 each for the four of us. Included in our order was a free garlic bread pizza which is a nice addition. An additional 10% off is possible if you place your order through their website, however we had trouble doing so which was unfortunate. Despite this Buffalo Pizza is still overall a good option and is definitely my go to place for pizza in Tang Hall.

Placed order over £15 and then said they wouldn't deliver to Wheldrake when I queried it he said to far and then said had no chicken when I changed order still wouldn't deliver. Total farce.

didn't turn up for over a hour later than expected, I rang up 4 times to chase this and kept getting told it was on its way. finally arrived over a hour late freezing cold and to top it off just eat have now changed the delivery expected time to make it look like it was within the agreed time scale. we ordered at 20.00 arrived after 22.00 won't be ordering again

Ordered from here a few times and every time they have been ok with swaping the tomato for cheese on a garlic bread but this time when they delivered it they got the driver to tell us that if we want cheese on a garlic bread to order the more expensive one that has fresh garlic, tomato & cheese on it but as I don't like fresh garlic or tomato on a garlic bread, I like garlic butter and cheese on it so why would I pay for something that I would need to take more off than just swaping tomato for cheese so with that been said I will not be ordering an other garlic bread from them. Other than that everything else was just as good as its always is

Friendly atmosphere every time we go in. We travel 1 hour from Leeds once a week for a pizza and we love it! Better than the the pizza shops in Leeds by mile. Would 100% recommend the new home made beef burgers!

I rang as my chips and drinks where missing from the order and the food was cold to then be told by the claimed 'owner' that I was a liar and that he made the order himself. He then proceeded to shout down the phone at me when I asked for the missing food to be replaced or refunded, when I asked him not to shout at me he told me to go away and ended the phone on me. Disgusting and rude behavior needs some lessons in manners and customer service. Do not order from here!

The food was awful. The chips weren’t cooked. The pizza was wet and soggy and tasteless. The chicken wings were wet and also damp like the pizza. Absolutely awful.

I've tried many pizza places, and usually the cheese is too much and plastic like, unless I go to an actual Italien where they do it right. This place is one of the few where I fully enjoyed my pizza, the balance was perfect. The value for money was amazing too.

Called to ask if they could rectify and I have never spoken to such an arrogant, disgusting company in my life. First called me a liar. Then told me everything missing was in a bag that must of been given to someone else. Then again I was lying as the man on the phone had apparently made the order himself. Asked them to resend as by the time extras arrived it would of been cold. They said they'd send 1 because it's not like we were going to eat 2 anyway. Then shouted at me to go to deliveroo to sort before I hung up. Unbelievable. People get things wrong and that's fine but the customer service was awful and put a dampner on my whole weekend here. If you're reading also very rude manager please see attached photos of kebabs as dry as your personality and tell me exactly what I was lying about

Driver was rude like he'd been stood outside for 15 minutes ringing my buzzer clearly lying.....sat in his car because it was raining and he didn't want to get wet ... Will not order here again!

Pizza was delicious. Chips were cold. Coleslaw was amazing. The 4 cheese pizza was a little overpowering, would recommend changing one of the stronger cheeses to a lesser. Maybe mascarpone.

REVIEW FROM EXPERIENCE OF THE RESTAURANT FROM 2017-2022 - Consistantly good pizza, well sauced, lots of cheese, reasonable prices, always delivered quickly, and very friendly staff. This was my favourite takeaway for the 5 years I lived in york. Also, they pass their cheesy chips through the grill to melt the cheese, which is a nice touch you don't often see. No complaints, I miss being able to order from here since moving away.

Food arrived quickly and was super hot and freshly cooked. Pizzas were lovely, nice amount of toppings and thin crust. Chips were also fresh and crunchy - no soggy fries here! Very much enjoyed.

Honestly, I was incredibly impressed with their food. I think we have found our new regular. Best pizza I have had in York so far. The chicken was also nice. The chips are good. Chicken Burger was also nice. Overall, no complaints at all. They clearly put serious effort into their food. Mad respect.

I've been ordering from Buffalo since they opened and their food always arrives hot and on time, good quality fresh food, I order my pizza well cooked as I prefer well done, which the owner knows, plus I love their coleslaw its delicious, as does my son, I can't say I've ever complained as the service is good staff are polite, the food is good and the prices are good to. The owner always asks how we are and is friendly it's nice to have that personal touch but there again we have been going there since it opened. I won't go anywhere else, if you get good service why would you go else where ???

Great pizza best I've had in ages. The only thing is I got a meal deal and I didn't receive my drink. But the pizza was so good I can forgive it.

Most of the food was inedible. I would suggest that whoever runs this restaurant gives up and tries something else instead.

Unclear order and waited over an hour for a re-delivery of food. Yes. A “second delivery” attempt as we as customer, were “wrong” for reading their menu (where it clearly doesn’t label peppers are on their meal deal pepperoni pizza). Slightly worrying as they said the pepperoni had peppers labelled on the individual pizzas but not, on the pepperoni pizza listed on the meal deal. Be very careful about slacking on menu information on your meal deals; for allergies sake at least! The pepperoni was soft and felt uncooked. Also, giving us back the same pizza (lukewarm, thanks!) an HOUR later is incredibly poor. The standard situation resolution would have been to have given us a fresh pizza, apologise for the misunderstanding in your website’s labelling and offered anything to help. We aren’t looking for trouble or being a rude customer; we just know the standard in nice takeaways. We shall not use your business again nor recommend.

This was my first order from here tbh it was lovey also they were not a bad price for a 7inch pizza either. I will say I wasn't expecting the Mars bars to be a quid it's a bit much also I was expecting home made milkshake but it wasn't it was Yazoo its not bad I suppose I will order again for sure 😉

I'm a regular and have been for a few years, always enjoyable food. The kebabs are never greasy, neither are the Pizzas.

Burnt hash browns with no taste. Pizza was nice enough, but burger and chips were average.

I mistakenly put the wrong address on the delivery and the staff brilliant made new food for me and send it to right address i would extremely recommend this place as its generally the best place to go for a takeaway

Order didn’t arrive. Called the takeaway and they said that the driver couldn’t find the address and was looking for 30mins. Despite leaving my number on the delivery instructions and on my account I had no missed calls or voicemail. I was sat in the courtyard at the front of the house for an hour and didn’t see any delivery or even any cars turn around at the dead end. The takeaway then said they could redeliver, by this time it was over 40 mins since they said they came, when I asked if they were making it fresh they said no, it’s been sitting here and they would reheat it. I said I wasn’t happy with that and the man on the phone then said he’ll cancel the order and hung up.

Best chicken kebab in york! The owner Faz is a lovely bloke always very polite! Take no notice of the bad reviews. People are more inclined to leave a bad review as opposed to a good one. Great food great staff would highly recommend

Have been ordering from Buffalo for years and never thought to leave a review before now. Really surprised to see so many negative ones. I’ve never had a bad meal yet. The food is tasty and fresh. Delivery is unbelievably fast and the delivery guys are always lovely. I can’t believe the reviews that say the pizzas are frozen. They’re delicious and you can tell they’re freshly made.

By far the tastiest donner meat in York (trust me, I've tried them all). The pizza is okay, but not amazing; it has that sweet, crunchy dough, which is typical for most cheap pizzas around here and I'm not a fan of. The rest of the food is above average, and I can say for sure it's one of the best places to order food from in York. It's a really affordable place and it's got an amazing service. They have once forgotten to bring a bottle of Pepsi and I didn't really care about it. Two orders after (which were weeks apart) and the driver brought me an extra Pepsi bottle because he remembered. I have never received such amazing service before. Do order from here, I can vouch for them.

Burger was piping hot, chips were under done. Pizza was nice. Would happily order from here again
