Salsa Pizza in York

This is my number 1 pizza takeaway! The food is delicious, service is great, just absolutely classic takeaway pizzas without too much grease. Perfect! Very much enjoying my pepperoni, thank you Salsa!

Chicken was really dry and tough like it had just been warmed up in the microwave. Kebab meat was stone cold. Barely any sauce and missed off drink.

Everything from salsa is the best! From service to delivery to the food. Speaking of the food... just WOW. Best food i have ever ordered from a pizza place. Pizzas are the best I've ever tried and the burgers are so crazy amazing! I will never order this kind of food from anyone else. No idea how anyone can give these guys less than a perfect rating! YOU ROCK!!

So disappointed! Salsa is normally one of our go-to places when we want a takeaway and normally the food is spot on! Well, not anymore! Totally put off ordering from there now after tonight! The calzone was watery, soggy and tasteless and the chicken family box meal was disgusting! Overcooked and funny tasting, mostly bone aswell! Even our food loving dog wouldn’t eat any of the chicken! 🤢🤢 won’t be ordering from here again!

Good staff but the food is terrible. The garlic bread has a very overpowering Herby taste which put me off. The burgers and stuff are decent. Probably won't order again.

Waited 2 and a half hours for delivery. Didn’t turn up after ringing multiple times. Don’t order for delivery if your hungry.

Never dissapoints. May take time on delivery but either way its worth the wait, the pizza is amazing, the burgers are also pretty amazing and me and my friends like to order from it every friday. 😀 very good food 👍

Quick delivery. Hot. Plenty of topping. But....big but....didn't realise only do thick bases. Only like thin base pizza, preferably stone baked. Didn't pick up on that. Far too stodgy for us. Should say on website the bases are thick or give an option for thin. Wasted money here. If you like a stodgy bready base go for it. We won't be making that mistake again. Adios nearly £20 hard earned. In the bin.

I'm sorry but why on earth are they not 5 star??? I stumbled along this takeaway purely by chance a year ago. The food is always amazing the staff are always so polite and cheerful you are never kept waiting longer then they say and they have never got an order wrong. Please give this a 5 star rating please. Best in York by far

Tan pronto como entro, todo lo que puedo oler es pizzas y hamburguesas. Soy recibido y consolado de inmediato, de hecho, un héroe local, Mc Mushy hace Mcing y me inspira a convertirme en uno de los mejores Mcs del mundo. Bossman en el mostrador me da un descuento ya que tu chico es un habitual. Finalmente, me gustaría decir algo malo sobre ellos. ¡Lo malo es que son demasiado buenos y hacen que mi nivel de sangre aumente y se acerque a la diabetes! ! ! !

on time delivery of either enimic chips cold or so over cooked food inedible popcorn chicken cremated curcly fries and mayonaise smothered pre cooked cold chicken baked potatoe lovely the saving grace.

Got my order wrong and was late wont go again

Pre ordered, as I knew things would be busy. I have used them a lot over the years. Rung them after it was 15mins late, they said 2mins away. 25mins passed I thought I best call a again. Same answer. Turns up 30mins late, and not everything was as I ordered, and was given the value back of what was missing. Poor service! Never had a prob with the food.

Frozen cheese cake delivers burger was hard

The food was stone cold the salad was bear and out off date the chips were stone cold the pizza was stone cold and soggy the only good thing was the colsaw we did not eat it and put it all in the bin

Usually more than happy with Salsa. However our latest order was really disappointing. Chicken fillet burger was like a normal chicken burger and chicken parmesan was so overcook, it was not saucy at all. Also was a very small portion for £7. Not very happy.

Ordered at 6.30...... 8pm still no food. Used to be so efficient at delivery. Absolutely shocking!! Phone up an hour after waiting to be told driver was setting off in a few minutes..... £30+ order and a far too long waiting time when you have children. Disgusting........

Ordered a chicken wrap with lettuce and mayo on. They all came separate. Chips and cheese burnt. Very unlikely happy womt be going back!

chicken was horrendous burnt to a crisp and unedible. I thought i’d try something new, Won’t be ordering again.

we ended up waiting over an hour for the food which meant it arrived rather cold and every time I called the restaurant they said “2 more minutes” for about half an hour. The pizza also had a very weird taste to it which unfortunately ruined it.

My portions always get smaller every time I go. Never again.

Wud have been later if we hadn't rang to see where it was for the bloke to say he was setting off with it b about 5 mins then 30 mins later turned up piping hot think they forgot about our order when turned up we got 3 different excuses

Food was over an hour late, luke warm on arrival. Takeaway did give us a free bottle of coke.

We order here pretty regularly, and even though it was very late we couldn’t even complain because 9/10 times it’s here way way earlier than expected! The service and food were absolutely outstanding! Couldn’t fault them! Will definitely order here again, as always 😁

Food was never delivered. 1hr 20mins delivery time, waited an extra 30mins due to weather. Shop was uncontactable by myself and Just eat. Will never use again.

Pizza was fantastic. I am usually a bit sceptical about getting a doner wrap as most takeaways put hardly any doner meat in them but with salsa pizza this is not the case. The wrap was stuffed with plenty of doner meat and was worth every penny and it is cheaper than most others too.

P.s wrote this review late cause ive currently just ordered my dinner at 17:07 and the lady on the phone is very dead inside doesnt sound happy at all, depressed me i gotta say. in my opinion get her attitude change or fire her, thanks other than that keep up at exelent food!

Once the food got here it was cold, I asked for thigh crust pizza base and got a deep pan.. which was pure stodge

Tasty food delivered early by a very thoughtful driver who kept ice cream away from hot food in transit, so it didn't melt. This is an exemplary takeaway!

The chicken tikka and doner kebab was so good and such good value for money! Homemade coleslaw was a winner aswell, will defo be ordering again!!

I ordered from this establishment at 9:15pm. The app stated that it would be delivered at 10:30pm. I called up at 10:40pm to see where my delivery was and I was rudely spoken to by a member of staff. I got told that I should wait at reception as it will be there soon. I called up again at 10:55 to be to rudley told again by a member Off staff that it would be there soon. I then stated that it was 20 minuets late and got told we have been busy and under staffed in a rather rude and aggressive manner. The public should not be at fault to this as it is a staffing issue and shouldn’t experience this as it isent good customer service. the company need to develop theirs staff customer service skills and communication skills so that PAYING Customers get the best service. I will not be ordering from here again until it is resolved. upon eating the food it was cold and tasteless.

I ordered a calzone and when it turned up it was half cooked the pot of sources was watery and mushroom was near enough not cooked it was like they just put the mushrooms in after it came out of the oven so I tried calling back but was no response so won't be ordering from there ever again not a happy customer

Not ordered from here before. Ordered a chicken tikka naan and a chicken tikka and diner kebab. My chicken on the kebab was quite dry but tasted nice. I prefer my sauces separate so order that way if you don’t want it poured on it. Husband really liked his.

took over 80 minutes to get soggy cold food.

food arrived like warm. ordered a chilli con carne based pizza, was clearly not as advertised. Tasted like a bolognese base with chillies chucked in.. no kidney beans and fairly flavourless.. Last I’ll order from here

Great food as always, but part of my order was missing; a chocolate milkshake. This is the 3rd time part of my order has been missed now unfortunately.

We order from here about once a week. Lovely food, great delivery drivers. Disappointing that they have added a £2 delivery fee. We will now be going elsewhere .

Comimos aquí por recomendación de un amigo, pedimos 3 pizzas diferentes y cada una era deliciosa, después de probar muchas diferentes en la zona, honestamente, he dicho que fue sorprendentemente la mejor, de lejos, no aceitosa con una buena cantidad de coberturas y una base suave pero no flexible, ¡la salsa bien hecha sigue el buen trabajo!

We order regular from here, but our food today not satisfactory. Everything was Luke warm so had to microwave which makes it soggy. The chips were undercooked. There was no salad with kebab, no pots of sauce. So didn't enjoy our takeaway at all. The best thing about it was the free garlic bread with cheese.@ the cost if £32 pound can safely say not happy😐😐😐😐😐

We are always happy to order food from Salsa until tonight .. The food was late in arriving and when it did we found cold soggy dough pizza and undercooked garlic mushrooms. When we tried to ring to complain nobody answered . Very poor quality food this time !

Terrible, cold under cooked calzone, and chicken kebab served looking like pieces of charcoal!! Never again!!
