The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Pizza pasta food

Had pizzas from here a few times and they’ve usually been ok. Tonight they were awful. Both large pizzas have gone in the bin! Very disappointing and waste of money…

Decided to order take out pizza for a poker night me and my friends were hosting, didn’t want to use any of the chained companies as they’re terrible and overpriced nowadays. We had a look around and found Mario’s and liked what we see on the menu so thought we would order for delivery. Once we made the order, it then stated a 50 minute delivery time, fine a bit longer than what you would normally expect, but for a non chained take away I’m happy to wait. 1 hour and 10 minutes later, the food was delivered. Fine it was later than what was said, but the pizzas were still hot as I could feel this through the boxes. Got them in and put them in the middle of the table for all to enjoy. Now this is where it goes from ok to really bad, one of the pizzas was undercooked by quite a bit. The other pizzas that was ordered were I would say, just about cooked, but one of the pizzas was still like dough. It was so undercooked that the pizza was sticking to the grease proof paper in the pizza box, and you could roll the pizza back into dough balls again. The crust was cooked ok, but anything under the toppings was not cooked. It could not be ate and was wasted. Will not order from here again, absolutely terrible pizza and a ruined take away for all.

I think all the staff are off thier heads , got our order wrong , yet again & again after calling , we paid cash on delivery , the delivery chap said we ordered on line ?? WHICH WE DID NOT !! ,they sent out what we originally ordered & that was also wrong ! ?? , and he told us never to order from us again , & we still haven't got what we paid for !!! They owe us !! Disgraceful.

Not normally a lover of take away pizza, as I can't cook it how I like. But I wouldn't go any other pizza place in st Helens. Shows how good they are when they are pizza. Garlic sauce is really nice

Terrible chicken full of fatty oil chips were dry no serivets give no salt nor vinegar on chips never even asked chicken burger was so bad not eaten in all meals were bad wouldn't give to my badgers

La primera vez que probé sus pizzas y mi pareja y creo que es la mejor pizza que hemos probado - fue por pollo con mantequilla y pepperoni. Optamos por pizza completa y, como era de esperar, era demasiado, pero no hay que lamentarse, ya que lo hicimos bastante bien, dado lo morada que era! Tienes que ser paciente mientras esperas un buen rato y los 20 minutos que nos dijeron que eran más como 30, pero en realidad vale la pena la espera.

I’ve previously left good reviews for godfathers as the Parmos are really lovely and well cooked - how we like them - and the coleslaw is great too. We haven’t ordered for a couple of months. This time we had it delivered - late - and the chips were half the amount than they used to be and stone cold. Sauces were only half filled, salad very dry and not much coleslaw. I’d have gave a 0 if it wasn’t for the fact that the parmo itself was still quite warm and the chilli sauce was still nice.

Ordered chicken Kiev 12” calzone and beef lasagne with onion rings. Onion rings were ok. Calzone order was incorrect but still ok ish until I got to the piles of badly dry chicken, thick with cheese and lacking the other ingredients that was promised. Very disappointed and threw half away. Partner also threw half the lasagne away, saying it tasted really cheap and tasteless :/ disappointed, as we love trying new places.

Can not fault this chippy the food is always cooked to perfection n the pizza’s a delicious + the staff are always cheerful even when the place is really busy..it’s my go to.

Collected a large pizza and when I got home noticed the pizza was completely burnt and not edible. I phoned the restaurant right away to complain and was dismissed with a ‘will call you back later.’ Still awaiting a response. Completely unacceptable. Shocking customer service from owner.

Insect Found in Pizza. This traumatised my 12 year old son who almost ate it. Complained. No apology No refund. Just a pathetic letter saying how great they are. Will never return.

We’ve gone to Superfry for quite awhile, but since it’s been taken over the quality has become incredibly poor. Ordered 2 items and they forgot one! Chicken was so dry it verged on inedible and even the chips were undercooked but yet soggy? I will not be returning Waste of calories

Ordered my food took over an hour Friday. Cheese wasn’t cooked properly food was cold and was the wrong pizza won’t be ordering from here again. Pizza Hut or papa johns will have my money from now on.

My son’s dad recommended a 6 topping pizza that usually costs £12 … my son ordered the exact same and he was charged double because whoever took the order didn’t think to put it down as a special which is on their menu he was charged for the toppings as extra toppings!! Phoned to inquire about the price and they didn’t want to know no accountability that it was clearly their mistake 🤬
