Godfathers in Darlington

I’ve previously left good reviews for godfathers as the Parmos are really lovely and well cooked - how we like them - and the coleslaw is great too. We haven’t ordered for a couple of months. This time we had it delivered - late - and the chips were half the amount than they used to be and stone cold. Sauces were only half filled, salad very dry and not much coleslaw. I’d have gave a 0 if it wasn’t for the fact that the parmo itself was still quite warm and the chilli sauce was still nice.

Well after my good friend Richard Bainbridge constantly recommending this place I finally gave in and give it a try. I must say I genuinely understand why he eats from here 3-4 times a week! He’s got me and all the lads eating from here now, the best hangover food I’ve ever had! Thank you Richard I won’t go anywhere else now! Absolutely delicious

Bought a veggi pizza from here 15/09/2021 my son lives above the shop so expected super done pizza…it was cold in the middle the cheese had not melted and the whole pizza came apart as o took a slice, it was just slim in the middle. I took it back but they just stared at me, I told them I would not buy another from them. Disgusting pizza

Recently bought a hotshot Parmo takeaway, we received this absolutely stone cold, chips included. Waiting 45 minutes for a cold meal isn’t ideal at all.

Ordered from here a few years and it has been lush. However lately (last 3 orders - one a week, on different days) has been terrible. Kebab keep getting gristly bits, changed their seasoning. Rotten now. Lost a loyal regular customer now!

Nasty what other way to describe it. Ordered several things from menue last night. Pizzas cold all cheese and not a lot of anything else on them. Kebab rotton. Worst of all my granddaughters chicken on pizza was not cooked it still had blood in it. Rang up told us to bring it back. we did they tried to fob us off saying it was bbq sauce. After 20 mins of arguing we finally got money back. manager very very rude. Told us not to order from there again. 😂as if you would order again from a place that has the worst food in darlington.

Shocking. There are no words to describe what was delivered to us. We ordered a Bolognaise Pizza , garlic sauce . The pizza box had clearly been thrown around as when we opened the box, the pizza toppings were stuck to the inside of the lid. The garlic sauce tub had spilt all over the top of the pizza box. As for the pizza it was a joke and so disappointing. Luke warm overcooked and the toppings were barely there. DO NOT ORDER FROM GODFATHERS

Just had a parmo delivered £9.50 with a salad extra toppings an pop it was here in 30 mins an very nice

Always choose Godfathers, haven’t had a bad meal yet, and the salad box is a winner, love it, such a good idea. I’ve compared other takeaways, godfathers is by far the best!

Always go here for kebab, or pepperoni pizza. Salad really nice and chilli sauce great. Pepperoni pizza fabulous

Very dissapointed, got meal home to find it was in edible. PS I am not a fussy eater. But it went in the bin.

Just got a large kebab tonight and was so disappointed! The salad consisted of 5 strands of red cabbage, two limp brown pieces of lettuce, a chunk of tomato, slice of cucumber and the centre of an onion! The dollop of coleslaw was probably the best thing on there! The kebab wasn't up to the usual standard either. Don't think we'll be going back any time soon 😏

Absoloutly terrible. Ordered a parmo n woth in 15 mins it came, was cooked but not hot and the chips were luke warm. Never again will i eat there and hope nobody else does!!!!😈😈

The pizza ,Kebab , all very nice it's not a sit down place,but very polite and helpful on the phone when putting a order and the delivery service is great xx

Este lugar solía ser lugar de Parmos cada vez, empeorando mal cocida y fría, últimos 3 entregas que faltaban las ensaladas aunque destacó por favor no te olvides de las ensaladas. . La comida es tan soso sin algo en el lado pero de nuevo. Ensalada. no llame para quejarme que echaron los conductores! No vamos allí en realidad la peor! ! !

Order from here every week and for the past 2 weeks they have rang me to say they have ran out of sherwarma despite me putting my order in 4 hrs in advance there godfather special kebabs now come in a 10" box instead of a 12" and the food they sent me tonight I wouldn't of fed to a rat will be taking my custom else where

Great Parmo and fast delivery, used Godfathers numerous times in the past for pizza and Parmo always a great service

Estado aquí para comida para llevar un par de veces, siempre parece estar ocupado. Recomiendo el pollo y el kebabs. parmos La única queja que tengo hasta ahora es el pan de ajo, que es horrible, muy seco y arenoso, sólo tenía una vez n nunca más.

Gran kebab Döner con ensalada bajo un fiver. Todo servido por separado para evitar que el pan llegar pasada. Grande y agradable.

Hola, he estado pidiendo comida desde aquí durante algunos años, siempre buena calidad y el personal amable. La última entrega de Bellburn Lane nos llevó 2 horas. Sin embargo, fueron presionados a sus pies en el momento y en la justicia, se entregaron casi doble mi pedido es habitual como un buen gesto. No muchas tiendas de Pizza haría esto! Son normalmente muy pronta con sus entregas ... la comida es excelente!

We've been using this takeaway shop for years we ordered our usualMixed kebab , missing salad only half the amount we normally get and meat was really dry looks like we willhave to look else where :-(

Ordered 4 pizzas for delivery. Could not take card over phone. Called me 4 times for address. Said they needed to send someone over to pick up the cash before they would make pizzas! Asked to speak to manager and they hung up! Wont ever use this place again!!!!

Nice takeaway with a good range of pizzas and kebabs etc.Pizza was hot fresh and tasty with a nice base,and I prefer this shop to others in the townMy favorite isthe chicken specialService was quick and friendlyI didnt try the kebabs so cant comment

A failing of most pizza places is not enough cheese. This is a mistake that this shop does not make. Toppings cheese and otherwise are plentiful. Nice.

Just moved to the area and tried this takeaway and really filling got loads of food and price was very good had it delivered and it arrived early no complaints at all
